You will agree with me that 737-800/900 it is in absolute the better airplane for FS2004 and lock staying that the small problem that I have is a needle in the haystack in comparison to what offers this masterpiece, I ask help however you to resolve it: the spectacular TCAS II in the operation, nell ' EFIS MCP the traffic doesn't visualize me, that recalls however to the moment of the need with " traffic traffic " and with the writing in the display " TRAFFIC " with the external view in fact I see that the traffic, however the classical symbols red and green are not visualized in the efis.... uff. According to you how come?? it seems me of to proceed in the correct manner…

Hi All!After around 10 flights in my new favourite model 737 (the 800 :)) I have a few questions...When landing, it now takes much longer to slow down with autobrakes, speed brakes and thrust reversers. Before, I just landed and it slowed down, but now I have to use manual braking at the same time as the autobrakes are engaged to achieve the same result. Is this normal, because without this manual braking it won't stop like the real deal at for eg. YSCB.Next, once I am on the ground and taxiing, the FMC seems to think that I am going to do the trip I have just finished all over again, and complains about insufficient fuel for the trip (note I have plenty of fuel, just not…

Something I never used but I would like to see what the cabin view looks like. I'll be darned if I can either remember or cannot find the command. Ok, is PMDG expecting to release a CD version of the 800/900 series??? I would love to buy a CD, like for the 600/700, as I always have problems downloading, and also like very much to have a DVD package to keep on my shelf!! It would be great!Thx!

I use a widescreen monitor set at 1280x800. First of all let me thank all of you guys at PMDG,it's a very nice product!I really enjoy flying with it and that's why I want to report few bugs that we still have in the NG:1.ALTITUDE ALERT is working fine during climbs,but doesn't work during descents!(No light no sound).2.With the HYDRAULIC SYSTEM switched OFF,the flap lever won't move and if you insist (pressing F6 or F7) it will move momentarily giving a consequent movement of the flaps which I think isn't correct since the system is not pressurized.3.During take off if the elevetor trim is not in the green band,even setting it in the full scale position there is no CONFIGURATION WARNING.4.There is no possibility to…

Hey Guys, i noticed that in the VC i am able to turn on the dome light but in 2D mode this button doesn't do a thing.I also noted that the Aileron trim is not working? is this just me, or is it not modelled or ... ?? :-)CheersLenny Zaman

Just flown an approach in the lovely new B737-800 but experienced a problem that had never happened in the B737-600/700.With both autopilots (and autothrottle) engaged the airplane flies a stable ILS approach and then suddenly drops below the glideslope. It tries to pitch up to re-capture the glideslope, the trim wheels are whirring like mad but it fails to re-capture. A/T goes from Speed to N1 and aircraft climbs away.Not sure why?? Just to be sure that the aircraft is not heavier than I have told the FMC it is, I have checked that ZFW figure is the FMC is the same as that in the Load Manager program.

First of all, regardless of all the speculation about the cost of the new series, I am very pleased with my decision to invest in a such an awesome work of art. Im considering deleting all other aircraft from the folders and flying the wicked sweet 737 exclusivly. I am really impressed with the level of detail that has been taken. I will stop blabbing now, cause you get tons of praise! I'm actually wondering why my flaps wont extend when doing a video playback with the 737. Another more minor problem, no big deal, would be the fact that the Autopilot doesn't show indications during a video playback. Any suggestions? Let me know.

I was just wondering, did the 600/700 VC get updated (I noticed the switches weren't usable, and wipers don't work).I see the 2D was updated, and that's all that really matters to me, since that's all I fly with.I'm still happy and very satisfied with this product, and I'm lovin the 800 (have not done a flight in the 900 yet!)

PMDG I heard you guys were planning a patch to update the older 737-600/700 to the current 800/900 standard. I don't know what this all entails but if you guys aren't planning on updating the overhead panel in the VC can you at least give us some shortcut buttons to bring up the various 2D panels from within the virtual cockpit... Ready For Pushback did a great job hear by hiding the buttons unless the mouse was placed over them. Just a suggestion I thought I'd run past you guys...

When I try to set the V1, VR, etc... via the knob on the panel I get a CTD.It begins with the left MFD flashing (with the speed and alt. bars blinking on and off) and then CTD.Never had this before the -800/-900 install.Any help would be greatly appreciated.Thx!:)

First of all thanks for the 737-800/900 PMDG. I noticed in the 737-600 we now have complete engines when looking out the passenger windows in the virtual cabin. In the previous version only the top half of the engine was completed. Thanks for updating the cabin on the 600. I looked at the engine in the 700 and it's just like before, only half the engine has been modeled. What I'm wondering is was this something that was overlooked??? Seeing as the 600 have been fully completed and most of the passengers windows are closed over the engine (one would really have to be looking to see them anyway), why wasn't they completed on the 700 also??? Just a note of thanks to the PMDG gang. I had a few issues with my install. It appears that somthing was erased by me in my dealing with a new comp virus (about:blank! - real nasty homepage hijacker - still no fixes available). Well, after excellent responses here on the forum and a almost immediate response to a suggested email (I was expecting about 24 hours or so)... BAM... all is well and goodagain, a sincere thanks.

Hi;Flying with the 800/900 I noticed that at night, sometimes the landing lights are not visible. (Hardware lights set to 8)This is the scenario, I takeoff from CYYZ runway 6L, Landing lights on ( I see them) climb to 5000, landing lights still on, come around to land on 6L, no more landing lights! I check on the overhead panel, and the landing light switch is still on but I don't see them.Is this a known bug or is it at my end. ThanksEric St-Louis

Gentlman i have not even got the plane off the ground, there are certain things i do to see if it will work out, this plane is the best i have ever seen. i have a 2700amd with 1 gig of ram, 9800 256 vid, and i must say the graphics is the best i have ever seen with my eyes, the plane is fluid.all i did was taxi out to the runway and then come back to the gate.this plane is absolutley for the hard core simmer.im so glad i started out with the 700 series , i know myself around pretty good now, im now concentrating on the fmc i want to learn it inside and out, this is the best plane out there in my opinion period.You guys please continue to add as much realism as you can, th…
