Hi PMDG,Congratulations on the 800/900 release! The update is fantastic, and I'm really happy with it. Now, I understand that the 2D panel in the 600/700 was updated with the 800/900, but I was hoping (and, to be honest, expecting) that the VC in the 600/700 would be updated as well, to include clickable switches in the overhead. Are there any plans to update the 600/700 VC? yep, i had it to. When i was flying touch and go's suddenly my adf neadle disappeard and then i was unable to change anything on the radio stack.I have also a question about tcas. When i come close to another airplane i get the message "traffic", but i don't see the plane on my tcas window so i don't know where the plane is. I tryed in both modes TA and TA/RA. Any help is welcomeGino

Hey guys! How's my favorite design team? :-) First of all I want to say thank you for all the hard work the team (Beta Team too) has put into this jet. She's a beauty, and my jet of choice in the sim world. :-cool What can I say? I own all the PMDG aircraft.. even the FLY! series! :-)As far as the question.. I set myself up with an engine fire just for grins. I got the bell and the light as I would expect. Now all us aviation types know, that the next step would normally be to take the affected throttle to cutoff as this is the fastest way to shut the engine down. However, in my own curiosity I wanted to see if the fire switch would shut it down as it would in real life. …

In the Master Table of Revisions, it shows that Rev 1.3 replaced Appendix_1 with updated version. I didn't find the Appendix with my 737-6/700 and don't see it with my 737-8/900. Where do I find the Appendix?

First off you guys did another GREAT JOB on this aircraft!!!!! And I know by the look of this board your getting slamed by questions, but just thought I drop a little bug report, and its really not a big one. I was running both engines today doing some testing and decided to test the engine fire T handles for proper function. Pulled the #1 handle, and the engine kept running. Pulled the #2 engine handle, and again the engine kept running. I know for a fact that our friends in the FAA would wet themselves if we tried to MEL a engine fire system. Did someone forget to hook up our T handles?

Hi, Just completed a nice flight in the 737-700 (LKPR-LGKV, 2nd leg IVAO RWT 'A') - for the second time. No ILS at LGKV, so a manual landing was called for. Unfortunately, first time, I hit the runway rather hard and the plane crashed. During crash recovery, all sorts of undocked windows popped up, then disappeared, then FS9 crashed, wanting to tell Uncle Bill all about a problem in panels.dll. May I say up front that this plane is to FS9 what the original PSS Airbus 319/320/321 was to FS2002, the first fully functional good simulation (at least that I've tried). That too didn't recover too well, but at leat it didn't crash FS2002! Am I alone with this problem or i…

HiGoing by the manual, a suggested fuel load for the 800 for a 700 mile trip suggests around 8/9000 lbs. This is similar to the fuel planner utility. However, when I load the fuel and proceed to set-up the FMC I keep hearing the new ding-dong warning stating insufficient fuel. I have a full payload.Am I missing something?thanksBob Wright

A huge thanks to the PMDG team for this awesome release!After installing the 800/900, FS will crash to desktop (no error given in events log either) when loading the secondary screen (where you pick your plane, flight plan, weather, etc).Deleted the FS9.cfg as recommended in the read me as well. I've read most of the topics where people complain about all types of problems, and would like PMDG to know that I had not one single problem with the new release. Received the confrmation e-mail in less than one second, downloaded and installed flawlessly. The plane runs smooth. Hey guys!I love the new 800/900 it's a real work of art! However, I can't keep fs2004 open for longer than 3 minutes with it running before FS unexpectedly quits or crashes altogether. So far it has happened when I right click anywhere on the panel, and even times when I've done nothing at all. On six or seven attempts to fly I've only gotten airborne once before FS quits. The time that I did finally get airborne I was on final in the pattern and it closed on me. Is anyone else experiencing these same problems? Please let me know if you have any solutions, I want to keep flying!Thanks,Jon

Beautiful new panels and radio stack.However I note that the B737/600/700NG now use the same new panels and radio stack as the new 800/900.Is there any way to go back to the original panels and radio stack when using the 600/700NG, while keeping the new stuff for the new 800/900 aircraft?Sandy

Why can i not see traffic whilst sitting on the ground ?I set TCAS to TA and TA/RA, but non of the modes seems to show traffic on the ground. Is this by design ? or am i doing something wrong ?Thanks

Guys, I still haven't gotten any response from support or the email with the link to download. Surely it can't take this long to sort this out. Why would some customers get the verification email immediately and others don't...besides the spam filter. I have mailwasher so I manually allow certain emails through and others I don't. Sent 2 or 3 emails to support and still no word. Quoted all info as well as an alternate email address. I don't know what else to do besides wait. Goran

I have, however, sent NUMEROUS emails to support from NUMEROUS email accounts per Lefteris' instructions, and I have received not one reponse from PMDG.I will, therefor, explain my situation and ask that this get rectified ASAP.My name is Jeff Hepburn, and I purchased this aircraft this morning around 10AM EST time using my mother's credit card (Janice Johnson). I put in my business email, and I found out that it has pretty tight spam filters on it. Hi all, I am a bit confused with how the fmc profiles the aircraft's descent. Whenever I descend, either at the T/D location or before, using des now, I always require drag which I presume to be the deployment of the speed brake. What is peculiar is that the engines are still at 40-45% ng. Surely if the engines were at idle then the aircraft would not require drag and save lots of fuel.I use headphones for the sound and it is very noisy using the spoilers all the way down.Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.Keith Sandford.

Congratulations to all at PMDG for a fantastic product. Best $22 I've spent in a long while.I have one question, if I may. Having entered all necessary data into the FMS including INIT page data I set the desired flap 5 or 10 degrees usually and click the 'v' speed LSKs but nothing happens. If I select Flaps 1, then v speeds are computed (around 269kts for V1!)Am I missing something or could this be a glitch in the programme? It's only a minor point and I can obviously set the speeds manually using the ref tables provided. Just curious to know if I've missed something.RegardsJohn C

I just found out that you are suppsed to turn on the fuel cutoff switches at 25% N2, I had always been starting them at 20%. So I started them at 25%, but the startup sounds dont sound right. It seems like the .wav file just loops and starts again. Im probably not making any sense, but whatever, just curious.

Thanks for a great product and a nice upgrade :)I had it out for a few spins today, doing my usual hopping on the norwegian west coast. On a short hop from ENZV to ENBR I caught two bugs, have a look at the URLs for the pics:ihatent.com/~alexh/app-channel.PNGihatent.com/~alexh/speed-flaps.jpgFirst one is wierd, the display says "single channel" and both channels are clearly engaged, yet it would still capture g/s, and execute the flare. Toggling the channels on/off did not help.Second one was during climbout from ENZV, where it would not remove the flap 1 speed restriction even though flaps are clearly retracted.
