I'm not sure what's happening here, but here's my situation. First, everything has worked beautifully in the past with the 600-700. I downloaded the new plane and began to have a problem with the FMC. I was entering numbers when I realized the 0 was an 8. And there are other numbers that were not correct. After deleting the config file and trying a couple of other things, I stumbled on what is happening. When I use a screen resolution of 1280X800, that is when the problem occurs. If I use a screen resolution of less than that, which I really don't care for, then the numbers are correct. I don't reboot or reload the program, the problem either occurs or goes away a…

Hello all!First off, excellent aircraft PMDG, well worth the money!!!!Ok, my problem...When I am on the runway (-800/-900) I try to arm the auto-throttle (just arm it, AP is not engaged yet) and the switch flicks up then flips back down and then I immediately get the "A/T First" light blinking (next to FMC First).I thought maybe I did something wrong but I kept trying and evnetually it worked....for a while, then it shut itself off again.:(Any ideas?Thx!:)

Has anyone been having any VNAV problems with new 800/900? It seems when the speeds switch to above 10,000 agl, the VNAV speed is set to 0. Anyone have a solution or the same problem?

Hi there... I hope you're all having a great day! I have a question about the new 800/900 VNAV. When I create a flight plan with descent weighpoints that are lower than cruise altitude... I'm finding that the FMC is ascociating top of descent with my first descent weighpoint. Say for example I want to fly from KPDX (Portland) to CYVR (Vancouver) about 300nm. Now I program the FMC with several weighpoints such as PAE, BEZOV, HEDDE and they contain speed / atitude constraints that are well below cruise. The way the OLD 600/700 FMC would work was to calculate it's own top of descent somewhat ahead of the first altitude/speed constrained weighpoint and then descend in a v…

While using the 600 and 700 NG version I started using keymapping for the functions of the EFIS and MCP using a few Goflight GP48 modules. After adjusting the keyboard assignment for PMDG and configuring buttons via FSUIPC (registered and latest version) all worked well. Within the Goflight GFConfig module these rotary knobs are not assigned.Now after having installed the 800/900 series with some alterations in key assignments while slow or fast rotations of the rotary knobs of the GP48 modules everything went black with the final remark that FS has encountered a problem.Is there somebody else having the same problems or is there anybody who can advice some alterations to…

You never let the side down do you pmdg,Interactive checklists too, Its like putting the cherry on top of the massive sugar coated ice cream ;)by the way the new 800/900 is amazing I must admit my frames are locked to 10 and I must steer away from AI traffic even with a top end system! (I like my detailed scenery) but I have none or maybe the occasional stutter in VC+/cab and what a difference to the old one. looks and feels a lot more fluid. HI Guys I apologize if this has already been asked and answered I searchedbut didnt find any thing. Today I was flying online KBOS-KPHL,and after departing KBOS I was suppose to fly direct to Lucos,however the controller gave the ok to fly direct to the SEY, which came after that. He said to save me some fuel and time. What is the procedure I need to do to the FMC to make this happen so i dont get the error about route disc. ThanksMike

Hi guys,Great work you did on the 800/900!I found that when using the VC cabin model the navigation lights on the left wing are not in the correct position, they are slightly in front of the wing.The position on the external model is correct though.Is this a little mistake in the modeling of the cabin?It doesn't bother me that much though fixing this would be the icing on the cake!Regards,Haromo

I no longer have the high-end system that I used to, but my specs aren't all that bad:Windows XPP4, 2.4512 MB RAM64MB GeForce4 MX420When I press the button to begin my flight, the FS2004 startup screen appears, and I wait and wait. Not until I hit ALT+TAB to go to desktop, then return to FS will the flight loading percentage bar come up. After that, the plane takes a long long time to load, then I wait for NAVDATA as well. I'm talking about up to 5 minutes. Is this normal or am I having issues?-Andrew

I was landing into EDDF, and everything was going nice, I was a bit too fast, but was managing to slow down and as I was approaching mine 131kts for flaps 40 landing (A/T and Speed were selected, on PFD all normal), the aircraft was in the CWS mode, and the brakes extended until I reached approx. 135kts. And then, when it came up to 131, the engines did not spool up to hold the speed, but instead the aircraft went into the stall and eventually would crash if I didn't slew it. It was not the engine failure (that popped into my mind, since the BAV ACARS has this adventure option built in, that might do that), and the engines were just idle (I did retract the speed brake at …

Just thought I'd drown out all the people having problems with a good news story.Woke up yesterday morning, and purely by chance happened to take a look at PMDG's web site. Wow! It's out! Placed the order and received the email in less then 2 minutes. Clicked on the link in the email and was instantly downloading the large file at 250 odd KB/sec. Download took roughly 5 minutes. Once completed, I ran the installer which worked flawlessly. Hi, First I want to say this in not an in-depth review- It's a perspective from someone who's oft been let down. I'm trying to make some points are rarely discussed as well. I also wanted to let everyone know that in 20+ years of flight simming, I've bought under 20 addons, and this is my first PMDG. I am not a real life pilot (I am however a student pilot- with an expired medical- and with under 20 hours).The addons I've purchased in the past ALWAYS led to the same feeling- kind of sinking pit in the stomach when typing in the credit card number, but the risk/reward is relatively low, and there is always that hope of "Maybe this will be the LAST addon I ever need!". …

Hi,I ordered the 800/900 approx 1000UTC and have had no reply. I emailed support 1250UTC which has also met with no response. I foolishly neglected to note down the order number believing I would receive an immediate 'Thankyou for your purchase etc' email as is the norm with all other downloadable software I've purchased.
