Guys, what can I say? This is quite simply the best add-on I've ever used. Ever. I remember a long time ago getting the jump seat of a KLM 767 which was routing from Amsterdam to Beirut. The sun had just set and the beauty of the flight deck at night, with the slipstream hissing gently past was quite mesmerising. For a good twenty minutes I sat there just taking in the view as the lights of the Adriatic slid majesticallly below us.Fast forward to now, and sitting in the darkness of my spare room staring into the virtual cockpit of the 737-800 somewhere between Newcastle and Bristol, at night, and I really could be there. Hello,I have the problem that I don't see other aircraft. I have set 'show all non-threatening traffic'. The TCAS Knob is set to TA/RA and I have pressed the TFC button. What I'm doing wrong? Have I do something in FSUIPC?I hope someone can helpThank youRegardsNorbert

Hello againI'm sorry to bother you lot with a silly question like this.I'm no Expert, but can anyone tell me why my descent path indiator ( purple diamond) is never centered, even if i decsend on VNAV starting at T/D.Only thing i can think of is that i don't enter anything in the Forcast page for the decsend on the FMC.Also, the plane seems very fast when i'm almost at the ILS intercept and when i try to slow it down, the pitch is adjusted so much that i end up way to high for the final approach. I try to use speedbrakes but it doesn't help much.What is the Proper procedure as soon as you reach the T/D to get the plane at the right speed and correct hight at the FAF.Many …

Hi againI have experienced 2, 2 engine failures now at V1 ,I havent set any failures and both times have cleared the failures in the pmdg menu (just in case)but it is still happening? I do the normal start procedure and taxi out everything is fine up until V1 when both engines quit and the aural "engine fail" message sounds.It has happened in the britannia -800 old colours at EGJJ . I have looked through the manual but cant see anything that i am not doing,I never had this with the 600/700 is there anything i might be doing wrong? will go back and try again regards keith

Upon loading any of the 737s, I now notice that the autopilot indicators are not active, they are dark. I am referring to the indicators which show altitude, airspeed, etc.This did not happen before I installed the new 737-800/900.Am I missing something?Thanks

I've purchase the basic pack and 800/900 model.What about the sid star database? I searched selected the LIMC rwy 35R and appears NOT IN DATABASE....what do I have to do?...I installed just the base pack and the 800 pack...is there somethings more to install???AndyAlso, where can I get the new NEOS livery?Thanks!!!

Just curious, but I noticed that the aircraft's mains will start with or without the fuel pumps being enabled. Seems like previous versions would not allow engine start if the fuel pumps were off. Is gravity feed sufficient for starting this aircraft?Thaks,Jason Barlow

Hello PMDG,Today I was flying a 2hour trip from WAAA to WIII. It was a normal flight, nothing special. Startup, taxi, and takeoff went fine, so went the cruise. However, when I started descent and tune my radios, I couldn't tune them at all. I was amazed what could possibly be wrong, all the instruments where showing normal. I continued the approach without ILS and COM, and then I figured out what had happened.I extended the gear, but that didn't do anything, I looked up to the overhead, and somehow my engine generators were no longer giving power to the airplane. I had switched both GEN on after startup. I started the APU, and switched to APU power, still no AC. I then s…

I've noticed when I load the 800 or 900 that the engine reversers are active and the side by side Engine display shows a yellow "REV" indicator. To alleviate it I have to press F1 to set the engines back to idle. Is anyone else experiencing this or is it something that is specific maybe to my system only?Regards,Tom Stewart

I find the RadioStack almost unreadable with the 800/900. I use 1024x768 with a good Samsung CRT and an ATI 9600XT. Does anyone else have this problem?John NoeCaptainBAW317 :(

...I noticed that turning on the dome light in the VC turns my overhead windows in the VC a near opaque green color. Strangely, the side and forward views are unaffected. Turning the dome light off restores the overhead windows to their former (and normal) state. Is this normal?Thanks,Jason Barlow

I read the manual, and turned the Hardware lighting up to full. I'm wondering, is there a VC light during the Daytime?I like the plane very much, Glad I purchased it. Aside of the cabin model being slightly heavy on the FPS it's very nice, the detail is amazing.

I love both the 600/700 and the 800/900 but cannot fathom out how to file a flight plan which will be used by ATC to give me clearance. I can live without the GPS. When I tried to load the default FS2004 flight plan all I got was a series of beeps. Dont see any interface between the FMC and ATC so exactly how am I supposed to get ATC to recognize my route?Another quick question.

With the higher REF speeds and gross weights of these planes should we be using flap 40? How do you know when to use 40?

Hello All -I have experienced the following difficulties since installing the new PMDG 737-800/900 product yesterday. I should mention that I have been flying the 737-600/700 aircraft for several months and have not encountered any significant problems. I should also mention that I am not a pilot, but I have until now been able to get the aircraft started and completed many flights. When I load the 737, the battery is in "discharge" and even when switching on the ground power switch, the auto pilot indicators remain dark. The other gauges appear normal and "powered".I never had to go through any special functions to start the 737-600, the aircraft battery seemed to be…
