Guys, the 737-600/700 arrived in my mailbox last Friday, and I'm already in trouble on the domestic front, seems the lawns needed doing and I was otherwise preoccupied...This thing is fantastic.Anyway, I'm progressing through the manuals (the FMC is giving me nightmares, but I love it!) and I've come across a problem with engine starting.I spent about four hours yesterday trying to find my error, but realised that it might have me beat.I've progressed through the overhead panel, turned on the power, fuel pumps, hydraulic pumps, put the ISO switches on AUTO (apparently there's three but I can only find two) etc etc, moved the switch from "both" to right, and then turned th…

Hi,Is there any way you can change the startup a/c in FS9 from the default Cessna to a PMDG a/c instead? I know of the possibility to save a flight but that's not what I'm asking for but rather to actually change the default startup a/c.TIA,

Hi Guys,First off, SUPER DUPER JOB!!! I am enjoying every moment of the new NG's and having a blast.One bug though has carried over from the previous version. When I select the transition level in the DES forecast page it changes the value in the transition ALT line in the INIT REF page (PERF). What I mean to say is that if I input a Transition LVL it also becomes the Transition ALT and vice versa. Will this bug be resolved? No big deal though, I just select transition LVL in cruise instead of doing it in my preflight.Thanks a ton once again for a wonderful product.Dinshaw.

1) Why do we press the top left screw of the MCP for TOGA?2) Does the lower EICAS screen work? It is always blank, and I can't find any reference to it in the docs.3) Several times on approach I got a "rwy/crs error" or similiar in the FMC on approach. As far as the documentation goes, I just need to enter the course, freq. in BOTH nav radios, then capture the LOC, press APP, and turn on CMD B.Last time, it worked, and auto-landed, but the error still showed in the FMC scratchpad. Do you have to set the HDG bug on the MCP to the course also? I didn't do that, so it's the only thing I could think of.This plane is so awesome. BTW, what the max operating range? Can …

Hello Everyone, I was wondering if anyone with a very good repainting background and experience (i.e. No texture smearing) if they could produce a livery for the 737-700 Winglet version, based off of N682RW. N682RW is a DC-9, which is used by the Detroit Tigers and Redwings on the road. Here are some pics of N682RW. Hi Gents,only one question:We have an own individually SIDs/STARs database of the PMDG addon. Now the 800-900 series are released. Are the SIDs/STARs compatible with all 737-versions? I knew you guys were going to do this. You released the 800/900 toward the end of the month. I'm on disability and I get my check on the 3rd. So I have to wait one more week. Man is this going to be hard. Thank you anyway for putting out such a great product. :-hah

Good afternoon,First, congrats go out to all of the developers and beta testers for releasing a great upgrade to the 737.After a couple of flights I have a few observations and questions...1) The 2d lighting is not bad at night but could be a bit brighter and an option to correct this would be nice. Is there an easy fix?2) Everytime I launch FS9 there is a loading bar that appears and takes a couple of minutes to load all of the PMDG data. Howdy,I went through Tims 737NG Adv Tut 2.00 with the 900 model (yeah, I just assumed the cockpits were similar enough I didn't have to worry about..and Iwas right :^)Anyway, night training flight...was taxiing out..bright as day with all the lights on ...then, they just blinked out. No way to get them back on. I completed the flight just fine and everything else worked. Just not the lights.Oh, and the nose wheel light does not turn with the nose wheel.And, the nose wheel does not turn unless you have some velocity. Can the real thing crank its nose wheel over when standing still?All in all a pretty amazing bit of programming guys :)Scott

When applying up and down trim in virtual cockpit mode. The trim wheels appear to be turning at 100rpm in either direction. Is there a quick fix for this problem. Thanks/Chris Fenlaw

Hi all,I've just flown the 737NG-800 for the first time and I love it even more than the 600/700!Got an error to post though - I press the keyboard shortcut to arm the spoilers but the light on the main window does not light up. And when I extend the spoilers - I can hear the noise but still no light! It would be very nice to know that my spoilers are armed an ready for a safe landing too. I've only flown the 800 model so dont know if the problem exists for the 900 too.Anyone else getting this probolem?Thanks again for a great product!Tim

I did a flight from KIND to KMCO. When I selected the APP for KMCO it had none. Seems there might be some runways and approaches missing from the nav data. Any one else tried KMCO?

HiWhile i appreciate that flights can't be saved and recalled in the 737ng, i was wondering if anyone had discovered any "work arounds" to overcome this problem that don't involve completely reprogramming the flight into the fmc ?Thanks Gary

I was just noticing through just flying, and I noticed that the 700 and 800 have the same max fuel. I was wondering, how does the 800 fly greater distances?
