Hello,As far as I know the 747-400 is 'close' to release date and even as the Boeing 737NG it is a masterpiece as far as you can see on the screenshots, but I have faith in you due to my experience with the 737NG ;)However, on the whole flightsimmarket (except for some panels, but most likely the freeware panels/planes are NEVER as good as the payware stuff like Wilcopubs's and of course yours) there is still one huge thing left out, the MD-11!The MD-11 is word wilde flown by hundreds of airlines and it has proven to be a very good aircraft.Allso, the design is very cool and none payware panel available wich is comparable with your quality products.So maybe an idea, to st…

HII have just installed a new HDD and put 3 partitions on it on for windows xp/system one for flightsim and one for the rest,I still have the old disk installed with all FS9 on it.Can I copy the PMDG files from the old disk to the new FS9 install or should I reinstall?The first time I tried, the PMDG installer found H:Program FilesMicrosoft games, but, did not find the FS9 folder. When I directed it to it, a new folder microsoft games was added.I have now deleted that and reinstalled PMDG, but, was wondering whether I could copy the liveries etc across from the old HDD? or should they all be installed cleanly?Thanks for any help I would like to get back in the air as soo…

When I enter a certain wind direction and strength into the Forecast page of the FMC, you have to enter a altitude too. Does that info only have an effect on that EXACT altitude? Or also above it? Or below it? And how far above and/or below it? And what if the weather hs changed EVERYWHERE, right until the end of the flight...?

Can anybody tell me how I can repplace the FMC from the upperleft corner of the screen to the lowerright...? I know this is not always handy because most panels show up there, but I would just like to have it this way. I really don't like having to drag the FMC every time I start up FS...

Have reported this...but so far no response from PMDG.*****Just tried it again...and now it works...*****Is this the same database as the "PIC-PMDG_0408.zip" available from the Navdata page? Hi everyone!May you help me pleae for my FMS (737 NG all types - version 1.3) is reporting "INSUFFICIENT FUEL" all the time. While planning the flights I keep in mind the description "Cruise - fuel load estimation" and "Fuel planning methodology" published by the members of PMDG. Hi AllWe had an electric storm in south UK recently which fried much of my 'putes system. I've put a new system together and am now reinstalling FS and add-ons. I seem to have quite a few PMDG files scattered around - to ease things a bit, just wondering if there's a definitive list of the files I need to install to get my 737 back up to date, up to and including the 800/9090.Many thanksBud

I'm in the process of finishing up a Reference Gauge for the B1900.It checks to see if weights are within limits for various phases of the flight. It also determines various weight based reference speeds.Once I work out one bug (figure out one item) I will release the gauge for download. Can you tell me if the aircraft load manager for the PMDG 737NG updates the weights in the aircraft.cfg file, or is it primarily a cosmetic exercise(surely not on THIS aircraft :-))? My question is prompted by reading about Scott Campbell's program, ACLoader, which cannot work with the PMDG 737NG because, according to Scott, the program "moves the payload to 0,0,0 and there is nothing I can do about it."BR,Frank

On the downloads page is a 737/6-7 tutorial by Fred Clausen. It is dated last year.Is there a more up to date tutorial, especially for the 73/8-9?

I am considering purchasing FSBuild2.1, but am wondering if Richard Stefan is still supporting the program? I checked his site and the latest AIRAC cycle for FSBuild2x appears to be 0313, which is for Mar-Apr. Also, I discovered this zip file was corrupted on download(same problem with 0311). Can anyone enlighten as to whether we can expect updated AIRAC cycles for what appears to be a very fine flight planner?Thanks,Frank

Can sombody tell me how to workout the correct head or tail wind componant in order to imput in to the fuel quantity calculator accurately and realisticly as done by the real pilots of a long haul flight when taking in to account head and tail winds. My maths is not all that good and the problem i encounter is trying to find an equation to find the H/W or T/W componant.Having watched cockpit videos starting in the dispatch office i saw the captain find the wind componant of each leg of the trip ie heading and speed of the wind (which i get from FS active sky for the purposes of FS no probs) but my question is how you calculate this info to obtain the vital data head or …

Hi!Recently formatted my harddrive (finally! phew!) and reinstalled flightsim, + the b1900 with the new 1.1 update. Just took my first flight and I'm plagued with a rather annoying looping wind sound in the spot view. It almost sounds like the wind blows for 5 seconds or something like that, makes a pause (when just the engines are heard) and then starts blowing again for another 5 repeating this ad infinitum. Strange or what? Have been fiddling around with the sound settings in directx and fltsim but to no avail. The wind sound kicks in at 4000ft and is still there when the simulator is paused?? (BTW I have a Hercules Muse LT soundcard) Does anyone have any clues? I have…
