When I go into virtual cockpit, I am unable to click any of the buttons. Also, I have no idea how to access the virtual cabin. I suppose you get there by clicking "I"?- but this does not work. Thanks, Jesse

I am seriously considering purchasing the PMDG 737 Package, including the 800 and 900. However, before doing so I would like to find a thorough tutorial taking you thru a cold & dark start-up to a landing and shut down.I noticed that Timothy Metzinger's is no longer available. Hi all,Just bought the 737 (both packs) last night. I'm struggling though. The plane runs fien, until I enter the VC, then my frames drop immediately to between 1 and 1.5 FPS. There is no variation in the counter, it justs locks at one value. The sim will then only run at that speed in any view. The only way out of it is to open a supplementary 2D panel. Eg, quickly open the Shift-4 view and close it, and the sim runs at a fine pace.I have never seen any other aircraft do this in FS.I am running an Athlon 3000, GeForce 5900 and 1Gb RAM, with Windows XP Pro.Has anyone else seen (and cured!) this problem?Cheers,Gareth Evans

I love flying in FS9, but something is beginning to bother me, the ATC. Does anyone know of an add-on or fix that can upgrade the ATC? I would like to see the whole ATC experience (i.e. clearance, RAMP, ground, etc.), but my internet connection isn't stable enough for VATsim and like services. I have been trying to find an add-on that provides a good, accurate experience and interacts with the AI a/c to provide proper spacing on approaches, but with no luck. Hi guysI hope my fellow PDMG fliers can help me on this one. I recently reloaded Windows XP and of course had to start from scratch with FS2004. I'm now up and running and it's all working fine, with the exception of my ATC. It's not there. All my other sounds work fine, but ATC is gone, gone, gone. When I select an option from the on-screen pop up menu, the ATC works, but the sounds can't be heard. In 'pilot voices' in the drop down menu, there aren't any!I've checked the codecs, checked that ATC is selected, deleted the config file, everything. I'm at the end of my tether, and having messed about for hours reinstalling all my FS software and add-ons, and configuring it,…

Just bought the 737NG on cd and having a lot of fun with it however can someone tell me if it's possible to import flightplans that I created in FS9 into the FMC.I tried it by changing the .pln file into .rte as in the Flightplan folder in PMDG but upon executing it the program crashed and had to hard reboot. Guys,Just recently, I have begun having problems with the ND display not corresponding with the correct flight path. It draws the line to follow, but when the LNAV tries to follow the line, the line seems innacurate and so the Autopilot must constantly correct itself (usually to the left) to stay on the line. Using the wind corrected heading does not keep it lined up. There seems to be a discrepancy between the line as displayed (and used by the LNAV) and the actually Flight sim world. I don't know if there is a way to fix this, if anyone else has this problem, or if it has anything to do with the lastest navdata arinc cycle. I have the lastest of everything, and the…

G'dayA question regarding what is actually happening to the aircraft when spped intervention is engaged.This is brought as i am confused as to what the aircraft is supposed to be doing when it is engaged.OK here is the scenario.We have just reduced speed to 250 kts through 10K.ATC call up and ask for 280 kts to help with traffic flow.OK now is when things at least seem to go astray.When i hit spped intv dial 280 kts the aircraft goes into a gentle descent to accelerate.No thrust is added just a lowering of the attitude.The vnav profile goes off the top of the scale as the aircraft descends below path to accelerate.At all stages the aircraft remains in vnav path.Now i am c…

Hi,Yesterday I had my birthday and I got the 737-600/700 & 737-800/900 from my parents. I am really happy with it!I have installed the 600/700 first and afterwards the update to v1.3.Then rebooted my computer and tested it. That one worked!Ofcourse I also wanted to install the 800/900 version and I started the setup. I got a screen that showed a .tmp file being opened or something and I took a while to load.Then suddenly it came with the message that I didn't have the 600/700 version installed and the installer quit.What had happend? My entire FS9 folder (over 15GB!!!) was gone!Also my entire Windows XP SP2 installation was screwed, my entire user profile was gone! I …

Chris YatesI always get a T/O config warning on departure but can find no logical reason. Flaps set to 5 trim in green band parking brake off RTO selected no master warning system messages speed brake lever down. Is there something that I have missed?

Hello,When making a touch and go, do 737 aircrews calculate (using charts) Vr and V2 as they would during a normal takeoff from standstill? Would the proper procedure be to set flaps 15 as in a normal go-around procedure, then rotate again at flaps 15 calculated Vr?Thank you.

When I try to update my 737NG from 1.2 to 1.3 nothing seems to happen. When I go into the PMDG menu and look in "about" I see that I still have version 1.2. What might be the problem here?Cheers Lars

I have intermittent static in the speakers while flying 737 series. Comes and goes. Still have background engine sounds etc., just overlayed with crackly static. Sometimes on and off for just a few minutes and sometimes whole flight. Quite sure it is not speakers, loose connection, or other hardware problem as it is only with PMPG 737, not B1900D ect. never had it with any other program.Has anyone else had this problem? I can get it to happen regularly on second and subsequent climbout after touch and go's. but lots of other seemingly random situations also. Very strange.

Hi All,I did a search but could not find my issue. I have the latest Service Packs etc.When flying without the FMC, and coming up on the LOC. If I hit the APP button, it does not seem to light and stay lit, but does follow the APP decent.Any ideas?Thanks,

Hello allI have a question. When I am flying I am typically getting about 15 FPS. I have a 2.8 GHZ, 512 MB Ram, Sony Vaio GRT-170 and an NVIDIA, GEFORCE FX Go5600 64 meg graphics card. Is this a normal framerate for these specs? Also Most of the time the framerate is about 15 but about every 10-15 min it drops down to about 5 for 5 min. During cruise thats okay but on approach/takeoff it gets to be a pain. Any advice is nice. ThanxsAndras

Hi,The thing I'm missing most in MS FlightSim is that there is no real 'continuous' world you're flying in. Every time you get an aircraft it's brand new again. Yes, I know about the failure options, but these are 'training options' and not caused by wear & tear.For FS2002 LagoSim had a piece of software that kept track of the state of the aircraft you flew. Had a hard landing? The landing gear of that aircraft had some damage. Too many hard landings? The gear would fail at a certain point. Same goes for engines: Always flying at full throttle would cause your engines to wear out soon. Pull too many Gs and the airframe would become damaged. Etc. etc. etc.I wondered if…

Hi!I reinstalled windows a copule of days ago, but I completly forgot to save the PMDG737NG installer, so I managed to delete it when I reinstalled...I see that you can replace the product by sending you some info on my purchase, but I also noticed that you charge 25 % of the purcahse prics.
