Probably a silly question once again!!But after 3-4 succesfull starts following Timothy Metzinger's tutorial ver2 (Day 1) and starting with the same cold and dark cockpit, I am surprisingly not able to start the engines today.I'm sure I have followed the procedure in the tutorial step by step. The only thing I have remarked is that on the engine display there is an amber sign saying "low oil pressure" for both engines. Can anybody help me?CheersLars - DK

Hi,Sorry this is lots of questions but they are things which I can't fathom out.1.Why do the engines always run when I load the aircraft even if I shut down, save the flight and call it back up again ? This drives me nuts - I've tried all the shutting down procedures and then saved the flight, only to find that when I reload the flight it hasn't shut down.2.My engines always start (FS2002) when I move airports and even more of a nuisance - I tried loading the Seattle C&D as recommended and then moved to Heathrow - only to find that my aircraft is positioned about 200 ft up in the air.3.Also if I try using the slew command with PMDG, the aircraft tries to fly (with the…

At the bottom of this site: http://www.b737.org.uk/737links.htm , there is a link to a 'complete set of 737 manuals - warning 31MB!' The link is this: http://www.erjamon.no-ip.org/Downloads/Boe...ight_manual.zipAnyone here managed to download this file? I tried it a few times but the connection is VERY slow (my best try took me about 3 hours while I usually donwload 31 Mb in really no time at all) and I just can't get it complete... It halts at about 32 Mb everytime and I'm left with a corrupted zip...If anyone else has it, can you share it with me? Is it worth it?

I have the PMGD Express 1900D. I just downloaded several new liveries. The original plane looks fine but the new ones are all gray no color and no color on any of the other planes that are standard with FS9. I have a pentium 4 2.3 processor, ATI graphics card with 128 memory and over 180gig of hard drive space.albyone

If you put this and the 747 on an apron, which would you choose? I know which one I'm flying home in. I don't have 500 friends, but I bet I could find 92 if I had a Concorde. But seriously though, the 74 is the queen, what was concorde? Been flying this bird around the world. Got bored of the 73 bus and left it in china, it just takes sooooo long to get anywhere, and nothing every happens, you sit and watch the computer fly. Concorde, every flight is eventful.

Hi guys,This may be a bit out of this forums subject but I was just wondering....I love having the airport scenery settings set to maximum, but this also adds loads of non airport scenery aswell. At heathrow, a few hundred buildings are added at the centre of london, actually theres more scenery outside the airport than inside! Is there any way to have maximum scenery at airports, and somehow delete all the city and non airport buildings? Many thanks in advanceArmen L Cholakianwww.veryquiet.com

Hello,I went to purchase the 737NG today, and I got a message saying that the bill city needed to be at least 5 characters long. I live in Reno, Nevada. Please note that there are only 4 characters in the name. Any ideas on what I need to do? I've got a nice 3 day weekend and was hoping to spend some time with these wonderful planes. Thanks in advance,Lonnie

Well I decided to take my First Delta Virtual Airline Flight today and thought that Atlanta to Palm Beach (KPBI) with Active Sky might be a real challenge, due to the Hurricane approaching Florida. When I started out the winds at PBI were around 25 knots gusting to 35 so I thought that didn't sound totally impossible, so off I went. Until I got down to the Vero Beach area, the skys were fairly good and the radar showed very little activity . As I went south of Vero, the radar started filling up with dark green and red so I knew it was getting nasty. I was vectored by ATC onto the ILS for 27R and about 18 out I intercepted the ILS with all the intentions of hand flying …

Hello all, just had a problem with the FMC. When I am entering my route (KMDW-KBOS), I have a problem with the DEP/ARR page. When I typed KBOS for my dest airport in the RTE page, I get the error "Error at line 6", or something close to that effect. When I try to enter my arrival, there is nothing listed for KBOS. No runways, no STARs. I updated my AIRAC cycle to 0409, and downloaded the latest SID/STAR db (0408) from PMDG. Any suggestions? Dana Palmer.

I'm 42 and have been simming for many years but having purchased 600/700 I am being compelled to 'do it right'. So over the next few days I am going to ask some really dumb questions - sorryWhen loading fuel for a mid range flight....should most of the fuel be carried in the wing or centre tanks??

I'm just curious, since I'm really eager to get my hands on PMDG's 744. I can't wait to sit in the VC, and experience the ship PMDG style. PS1 is great, but unless you build yourself a cockpit you do feel a bit removed from actually sitting in a plane. Either way, it's excellent practice and will certainly make you a better pilot when the PMDG plane is finally done. And for those who think Add-ons are expensive, PMDG's bird will be a BARGAIN compared to PS1.
