Hi guys,Couple of quick questions for my PMDG 737-800/900.1) Sometimes if i do a completly manual take off, the VNAV function won't kick in. Message comes up on the FMC saying "Not on intercept heading". What have I done wrong?2) With regards to Navigation. When you generate a flight plan in FS9, I usually select High Altitute airways. Most of the time, I can program these points into the FMC, and if there is an airway to be used, the FMC will accept that instead of typing in each and every waypoint. Sometimes not tho. It just says "Invalid Entry". Is this because those airways arn't registered with the FMC?3) SIDS/STARS. I understand how these work, but given that you…

So euh, the FMC got me untill(EBBR->LPPT) MAGUM and then he started to decent but not fast enough. I flow over the airport at a hight of 10000ft. My conclusion: The FMC isn't descending fast enough. Anybody got any solution? :(

I apologize as I expect this topic has probably been covered before but I was unable to locate a reference in a forum search. I downloaded -800/900 and I have -600/700 v.1.3 installed in my FS2002 aircraft folder. When I attempted to install -800 (intended for FS9) I get a message stating that I must have -600/700 installed to continue and the installation stops.I saw that the 800 readme says to reinstall 600/700 if there is an installation problem with 800. I do not want to try and do that without consultation first as I would hate to uninstall 600/700 and not be able to re-install it thus creating an even worse problem for myself.Do I need to have -600/700 also insta…

I'm a new B1900 user with a couple questions.- When in spot view, why does the engine sound stop (no engine sound) when throttles are pulled to idle? I do hear it again when the throttles are pulled to reverse. - If in full view (W twice) and I look to the left or right rear quarter view, I see no wing views. However, if I'm in full view (W twice) and open the GPS (Shift + 3), I see the wings and engines if I look to either rear quarter.Richard

1.Does AIRAC database have to load EVERY time i choose a PMDG NG aircraft from the aircraft choice menu?Or it can switched to one time load?2. when on final approach with AUTOPILOT ON it suddenly switched off itself and DOES NOT want to switch back on. I want the autopilot to hold APP and Speed until touchdown3. The AUTOTHROTTLE function does not switch on. AT ALL! Why? Speed button as well is not reactingThank you

Dear All,I have been away for a number of weeks - sorry out of the loop. I have both the 737-600/700 and the 737-800/900 installed. I was delighted to see on my return that a update had been made to allow 738 functionality added to the 736.I followed the instructions...but...my 737-600 now have no fuselage textures(wing, tail and engines are ok) when entering the cockpit, all of the PFD's are blank (engines started). I have tried undocking and docking again but no luck.I have then switched to the 737-700 and this along with the 800/900 has no problems at all.Any thoughts/help would be appreciated.Many thanksAndrew Clowes

After a flawless MCP driven test flight in my 600NG from KSEA, I had a most breathtaking approach at dusk into my beloved KSFO, 28L, viewing 80% traffic all over the sky (courtesy UT). The skies were filled everywhere with gorgeous airline traffic. I I timed the entry to the intercept for the LoC to 28L, following a 757, and did a perfect precision approach; the PMDG baby flared like a dream to touchdown on 28L like a cream puff on the TD lines and then on lowering the nose to apply reversers....WHAM! BANG! KA-BOOM! right into a US Airways A320 that was crossing from landing on 28R moments before.This was SICKENING!! I have disabled Crash Realism and it stays disabled.…

Hi 737NG GangOn most of my cabin diagrams they show a galley at the front entrance to the 737-800 and 900. Does anyone have a picture of what this looks like as you enter the airplane. I have never seen a galley to the right of the entrance door. I know there are two large galleys in the front of the plane on the opposite side of the passenger entry door, but have not seen it just to the right of the entrance door.I can't find a good view on Airliners.net but thought someone/or the PMDG team might have one from another source.ThanksBob JohnsonDenver

Hi,Read somewhere that the autobreak switch in a 747 returns to it's 'OFF' position when the a/c comes to a complete stop. Is this also true in a real 737 and if it is, could it be modelled in the PMDG 737?

The rudder on my 737NG twitches when the aircraft is stationary and a little while ago I couldn't even keep the aircraft on the taxiway. This is also happening with other aircraft. Take off is a matter of swerving from side to side until airborn when it all settles down. The weather's set fair, autopilot off and, so far as I can see, all is fine. What am I missing?Richard

Recently bought the 737NG 600/700 and have so far been very satisfied with it, great product. Considering, getting the 800/900, most importantly for the upgraded panel and new lower MFD functionality.Question: On installing the 800/900, will it upgrade the 600/700 NG to the same panel standards in VC and 2D? -Mike

Hi all. It's been a while now since the TURN LEFT/RIGHT DIRECT command was activated in the PMDG 737NG. I rarely get any feedback anymore about my DAFIF terminal procedures so I thought I'd do a little survey about this command to see how it's going. Has anyone noticed any SID/STAR/IAP in the 0409 cycle that is in error because it is missing the turn command?RegardsTerry

I have a question for real world pilots or anyone who knows the answer.Please explain to me how pilots operate on a sector.Do they recieve a per diem for food? Dear PMDG developers,I really love your 737 and I can't wait to get my hands on the 747. But there is one thing that I've been thinking about now for quite some time that could improve the experience even more. Maybe it's completely stupid (impossible to do) within the limitations of MSFS or it's more work than the 747 itself. Hi Everyone,When landing at Orlando (KMCO) the FMC says it is unable to find runway 35. The simflyers scenery I am using has 35L/R and 36L/R however it seems that FMC only thinks MCO has 35. How do I go about changing this, or has someone already done this fix?

Hi there,with version 1.0 before the recent service upgrade it was possible to fly multiple legs without any flaws. So if you arrived at the destination airport you could 'reverse' the loaded flight plan and return to the departure aiport.Now after installation of the recent service pack there is a weird behaviour after take-off as the system still "thinks" the aircraft is in DESCEND MODE. That means that after take-off there will be warning message: "No VREF seleced" and the CLB and CRZ modes are not accessable, only the DES mode.Is this intened or a bug? Greetings,Today just as I was about to intercept the LNAV heading, it sort of "disappeared" on the ND from a straight line and changed into a hook.The intercept occured flawlessly though thru T/C.I was wondering if this is by design? I keep trying to set TCAS TA/RA mode and the TCAS Test works, and it flips OK to TA/RA on the pedestal, but the annunciation is still just TA. Is TA/RA not a functioning option?Jonathan
