    There is ONE repaint of a PMDG Maersk in their new colors...They do not have any B737-700's left in the old color scheme...The only repaint has totally wrong colors, no black...Please is no one interested...Boaz...

    Hello everyone. I have encountered my first minor problem with the 737-700, since I bought it when it was first released a long time ago. I programmed a flight tonight, as usual, into the FMC. I got up to altitude, FL310. Everything looked fine, LNAV going great. I noticed all of a sudden, that I was slowly climbing, to FL322, or FL325. I decided to try something. I put the sim in 4X, and the plane clibmed and descended wildly! All the way up to FL350, down to FL200. Whats the deal? Did I miss something? It worked every other time except tonight.     Please help - I've bought and installed the 800/900 PMDG upgrade which all went smoothly, but after restarts and going for my first flight in an 800 upon inputting data into the fmc i suddenly found that on its' numeric keypad I couln't get 0 and all other number keys on the pad were misaligned in that upon pressing zero I get an eight (8) five becomes two (2) and so on - has anyone else had this problem or do you know of a solution. I would rather not have to uninstall and reinstall if at all possible.CheersRickp.s. how do I enable TCAS / get the virtual cockpit view (haven't got active camera as i didn't want to have to pay for that as well for fs2004).

    Greetings!Using Tim Metz's v2 tutorial, 737-800, and the flight plan filed is:KTNT CURVE V35 DHP J79 VRB LBV RSW CYY MARCI KTNT (at FL270).I have programmed the FMC fine - and one the LEGS page, i wanta constraint for DHP to be 270/15000, which I enter.After departure, before reaching CURVE, at around 4000', and in LNAV and LVL CHG mode, I set MCP altitude to 27000, and then push VNAV.then I get "UNABLE NEXT ALT" This is before CURVE, which gives me more than 20nm to DHP.I have attached a picture below indicating the issue. You can see the check FMC light is lit, and also you can see on the ND that I am before CURVE and DHP is the next waypoint, DTG=16nm. The constraint…

    I see there are two programs (at least that I know of) that provide AI Traffic: Traffic Unlimited and My Traffic - both compatible for FS2004. I've read Andrew Herd's review on UT, but I can't find anything on My Traffic.Can anyone offer an opionion on what might marry best with PMDG 737 products, and the anticipated 747?     Dear all,A while ago I had some software problems, so I needed to reinstall FS2004, this included the PMDG Boeing 737-700. I reinstalled evrything the way I was told by PMDG. But is I want to add my route to the FMC, no SIDS or STARS are displayed in the DEP/ARR page. I'm really getting sick and tired of these problems. In the folder where all the SIDS and STARS are, nothings wrong. (C:Program FilesMicrosoft GamesFlight Simulator 9PMDGSIDSTAR) All the files are there, and Rotterdam Airport is up to date, but the FMC still says that there are no SIDS or STARS.     Is there a reason why I seem to be lacking about half the EGLL SIDs? It appears I only have COMPTON and DOVER (I think one other fix), but WOBUN and BUZAD sids are not there. I fly a lot from EGLL to home (EGA-) and these SIDs are used a lot. It's not a biggy they are simply enough to enter using the RTE or LEGs page, with DIRECT BURHAM, DIRECT WOBUN for example just thought I would ask.Can I also ask why is the SID/STAR database is based on a military database and not a civil one? I suppose the second questions is... How come the military SIDs and STARs are quite frankly wrong in a lot of ways?I'm getting a little peeved with navigation accuracy these days, it appea…

    I normally use the "last flight" startup selection when starting flight sim, so that I am ready to start up where I left off the last time I flew. (more realistic)I notice, however that if I turn off all of the switches on the overhead when I log off fs9, not all switches are in the off position when I log back on. (to my saved configuration)Any way to set these to default "off" position upon startup?

    I have a slowish system and like a lot of us have been plagued with slow loading textures and grey/brown squares on the landscape when changing views. i use a program called Norton Systemworks, its a 'tidy up and maintain your computer'program but I noticed that the defragmenter (called 'speed disk') had a facility to place files where you wanted them on the hard disc. So I took an evening out and moved all the important files (all textures, scenery, dll's, sound and panels) of FS2004 to the first available space on the hard disc, immediately following the system files.     Hey Guys,Currently using FS2002 and have the base 737NG package installed - it's fantastic.However, I've been looking at the 800/900 upgrade and was interested in purchasing it. Will it work with FS2002?     Will it allow to enter some waypoint like N**W**??because I have some FP is like that(SFO~HKG, LAX~HKG) and if I use the FSNAV to create it will go up to Alaska then down to JPN.But I want to fly between Alaska and Hawaii so I need to use the waypoint like N**W**.And I have some real FP from HK to JFK is need to use the WP like that.So I want to know can the FMC do it.     Hello all,I'm having a bit of a problem when using these two add-ons together.Seperately they both work flawlessly. But when I use them together I get a crash to desktop. No error message. FS crashes but AS is still running.Now I've totally reinstalled everything and once more I get this crash, so I don't really know what's wrong (since others have used both without problems).     Hello,Just getting used to this fantastic bird. However, I'm having some problems on descent especially. Just to let you know, I'm using Active Sky 2004 and entering in winds aloft into the forecast page.The problems occurs on a VNAV path descent. The aircraft will be descending smoothly down the Path and glidescope centered, when suddently the airspeed changes to 10 or 20 knots differecne, the glide scope path suddently jumps to complete top/bottom of the scale, altitude changes, and the course line on the ND stats seeking around.     few questions for an uninitiated pilot;1. having saved a cold and dark start via the cessna route, how do i get back to a start up with power on and engines running. however i try to change, i still start cold.2. why do i get a fuel warning 'in the selected tank' even tho ive loaded up more than enough for the flight?3. on a simpler note, control + E is supposed to start the engines? not with me.they seem to spool up and down like a fiddlers elbow. what am i doing wrong?regards neil c

    Gents,I am looking through the 737-823 Operations Manual and I do not see a procedure for loss of horizontal stabilizer/elevator.Assuming this occured on 737 in real life, i.e. - both damaged, what could you do?     I'm still using FS2002 so don't know if its improved on FS9, but why don't any of the flight sims give a decent push back mode where the aircraft turns properly. It seems that so much time and effort is spent of making a really good product yet this fairly fundamental action doesn't seem to work properly. Any chance of improving this in 737NGDave.
