I have just installed the 800/900 but from the following screenshot, you could guess the problem. Two of the instrument panels are corrupted. What could I do to solve the problem. If I have to re-install the 600/700, will i loose the file with the navigation data? I cannot find the problem. The 600/700 version is 1.3, i.e. the latest one. ThanksIvor

Is there a way to programme in more realistic failures?I mean, the random function is a bit silly really. It tells you when it's going to happen.At one end of the spectrum it would be nice to have the engine fail between X and Y time.At the other end it would be nice to preprogramme the failures with values similar to any real world MTTF (mean time to failure) for components. As to how these would hold state through FS restarts I dont know. What I mean is you could play with the plane for months and have nothing happen, then lose an engine and a few bits of hydrulics the next flight. A "service" utility could reset all the failure counters back to 0.Is this just a pipe…

Hi all,I am using Terry's latest SIDS and STARS but for some reason I cannot enter in Comox BC (CYQQ). The error message I recieve is that the runways are unknown. HiI am starting to get the hang of the FMC. That is, I can plan a route, correctly allocate a STAR and ILS Rwy etc. However, I have noticed that the resulting route often includes the instruction 'vectors' representing a gap between one point in the route and the point at which the ILS rwy vor loc can be captured. Is it usual to have 'vectors' included in teh flight plan - or is this evidence of my choosing the wrong STAR / RWY combination? If this is usual, then is there a way to have to FMC automatically identify the ILS Rwy sequence - or is the APP phase always manually established by the pilot?Any advice on ths will be appreciated.ThanksSimon

Hello Fellow fanatics! Please can you help me out here. I have had the PMDG 737 for over a year now and I have to say I have never completed one sucessful flight yet. Why? well...I am a perfectionist and seeking the ultimate FS experience and I keep tweaking here and there etc all self inflicted. However, I have noticed that I get an error message when I try CAT111 approaches. Basically, it goes something like this... in FSnavigator RWY 1 at Brisbane is 016 if I call recall correctly. However, when I set my 737 it says in the FMS when I tune it to the frequency at Brisbane, it's all set up to land but, the RWY HDG it sets is 015' consequently, I get t…

Just reformatted and reloaded my hard drive with XP pro with SP2 installed. FS9 with no add-ons also installed which works perfectly. When I load PMDG 747 (v1.3b) all seems ok until I get to the aircraft selection page. When I select the PMDG737, the rotating model appears, frozen and not painted. After a minute or so, the default paint scheme appears and the ac rotates as normal. If however, I try to select another variant, the same happens. When I leave the ac selection page, it takes up to 90 seconds to move on, as does the fly now page. When i finally get to the cockpit, all is frozen for some considerable time. Hi all,I've been flying the PMDG Boeing 737-600/700 for quite a while now. But today I flew the Boeing 737-600 Air Europe for the first time on IVAO. Everything goes exactly as planned, taxi, takeoff, climb. But that's where the problems begin. I set my CRZ ALT @ FL270, and the plane climbs to this altitude and levels off (VNAV). But then the FMC says: VNAV DISCONNECT/UNABLE CRZ ALT, and deletes al the speeds and altitudes from the LEGS page. But the aircarft is already at it's cruising altitude, so why does the FMC do this? When it comes to load the pmdg 737ng 600/700 2d cockpit it takes upto about 20 secs plus to load, is this normal or not. The second problem I have is that when I do get it loaded and go for a fly after about 5 mins into the flight the computer does a complete reboot.The pmdg 737ng 600/700 is version 1.3The computer has 800 megs of computer memory video card is a Ti 4200 with a processor of 2.4.The operating system is windows xp pro.Cheers

Although this is good news that PMDG are producing the MD-11, I hope the attention that the 744 deserves will not diminish as a result- and we can still expect a product that will once again exceed our expectations. (Any new pics etc.......)Thanks,Jason.

Hi After installing the updates, something weird is happening withNG fleet.After doing entire pre filght, fuel, cargo, pax weel done....i start my climb to reach my Fl,but about FL 230, vertical speed starts to decrease till reach 200 FPM, and speed decreases too.....it looks like a cessna climbing (i love cessna). ive been trying different configs, only a few kgs os fuel, none pax, none cargo, and it still having this problem ......Any Ideas ??? or reinstal ??Best Regards Wanderley

Hello,Just a quick question: why can't I fail the engine over the PMDG failure menu? I mean, it's enough that I can fail it with the FS failures menu, but just wondering if it's a bug or am I doing something wrong?

I'm new to PMDG but I thought I was getting the hang of flying it quite well. Then it occurred to me that I was able to start up the APU in cold and dark without any fuel in the tanks. Is that possible?

Hi,What I noticed is that if you disengage the A/T the airplane is also disengaging the VNAV.Also noticed on the thrust levers A/T DISENGAGE switch.Now, I am not a 737 driver (thou a real 744) so here is the question?Is this specific for the 737

I recently upgraded to the 737-800/900 series and my speed brakes seem to have lost the armed position that I used to set by pressing shift+ forward slash/ . Now all I get is the down or fully up position and they no longer deploy automatically upon landing. I checked the key assignments and nothing has changed, they simply refuse to goto the armed position that I had in the 737-600/700.
