PMDG TEAM:I was curious as this juncture, if to facilitate the function of your ACARS in the NG, a bridge between online winds aloft data could be downloaded in conjunction with a program such as Active Sky or even the current MSFS internal weather for those that suffer that punishment? I'm no programmer by any means but was curious to know if something like this is feasible. It's small things like that make huge differences. I love this bird and don't mind putting the wind data in manually but I know that a "one click" option like this would make me and a bunch of others love it more :)

Guys,I have a serious problem here. Last nite, i decided to fly the A320 PIC which i have not used at all coz it was bugged with problems... i.e. throttle keeps running to idle.After that, i went back to my dear PMDG 737 and the same thing happens to my 737 now!!!!! arghhhhhhh No matter what I do, the throttle will idle itself as soon as i push it forward. I can't fly now and I am very very very sad... I wish I hadnt tried that stupid A320 PIC...:(

I'm flying out of Seattle to KSFO. I want to use the Modesto Two arrival and plug that into the FMC no problem. Now my question is...from the FMG VOR to Trose int. it says FL220. Am i supposed to be at FL220 at FMG or Trose? Also I'm supposed to be at FL110 and 250 kts at Cedes int. but it says 8000 just before Groan?Thank you-Mikkel

I just downloaded the new updated to flight sim 2004. Started up flight sim and I receive some error about FSUIPC not recognizing this verison of flight sim and that i need to revert back to version 9.0. I just clicked ok then it gave another warning box about some things may not function without fsuipc. Hit ok again and flight sim crashed. I then dragged the fsuipc.dll file onto my desktop and started fs again. This time it worked like a charm and the game is running SOOOOOOOOO much better. Easily hitting 50-60fps with settings maxed and 100% AI traffic at KSEA. But I don't have the functionality of FSUIPC for my PMDG planes. A quick solution to this would be nic…

Hey there everyoneI have just installed the sim and it is currently up to the 1.3 ver. When I first installed it and followed the intro flight it was fine, however, since then I have not been able to start up the 1st (RH) engine and was hoping that you guyz might be able to help me out as to why this is?? I have followed all the instructions in the manual for start up. Also, on T/O I have this alarm going when I advance the power levers until I get airbourne and retract the gear. For your own information, prior to loading the patch onto your system I would suggest reading the Microsoft Flight Sim Discussion Forum on this web site. You will see quite a few posts with problems after the patch was installed. The issues are also discussed on the newsgroup alt.games.microsoft.flight-sim1. If you are currently using the no CD patch to avoid running your CD drive constantly, while using FS9, you will have to go back to using the CD. 2. Hello :-wave,I installed the new patch for FS2004 and didn't encounter any problems so far, except that I got an error message from Flight Simulator after every attempt of starting a flight with any of the PMDG 737NG versions. There were no problems with the default aircraft.So here's my quite simple solution to solve that problem, unless someone else finds an easier one:First of all make a back up of your aircraft liveries and aircraft.cfg's in order not to loose them.Go to www.precisionmanuals.com and get the removal tool form their Download section under "Miscellaneous Files". Hello all, Just wondering if anyone knew whther there is a hot key to bring up the lower EICAS display on th 736789 series in the 2D cockpit. I have been unable to find it and this makes starting the engies somewhat difficult. I cant use the VC because of very poor frames, so I would like to be able to view the lower DU in 2d mode. Thanks

Folks,If you get an error message about the version of FSUIPC.DLL thatis called by PMDGOptions.DLL (PMDG 737) after installing the Flight Simulator Fs2004/9.1 patch, and it crashes FS2004, simply go to:http://www.schiratti.com/dowson.html.get the latest FSUIPC.dll and put it in your FS9/modules directory.That takes care of the error message. Not being a nitpicker, but I found a bit of a bug in the 737 apu. I have my default flight set up using another aircraft which does not use the drop down menu for fueling...so I have to fuel her up manually through a panel on the actual aircraft. The wings and centre tanks are completely dry with fuel set at zero. When I change to the 737, she's sitting on the runway, zero fuel on board. I once went to start her up in the normal fashion from cold and dark. Turned on battery power, stand by power and armed emergency lights. Then I flick the APU switch and she fires up and stays on...with no fuel in the tanks. I check to see if the generators can come on by flicking …

Folks,hypothetical - 17kt tailwind at 002/29kts, TAS=480, GS=497, so 17kt tailwind, from behind us, our heading should be 250, but our track is a left crab at 248 deg.So, my magenta line is 250, but my green diamond is at 248, so about 2 degrees due to the crosswind.Can you please tell me what the aircraft autopilot is doing to 'fight' the crosswind - is it employing rudder yaw? I have the ActiveCamera demo and I can't figure out how to get into the cabin of the pmdg airliners. I click on the virtual cockpit and cabin version of the aircraft and am still having problems. How do I walk in? Do I go from the VC or from the exterior view, etc?Can anyone give me step by step instructions. Thanks,Costas

Hello allOver the past month I have been flying the PMDG 737-800 exclusively. It is the reason that I changed from designing a 777 flight deck to a 737NG flight deck (among many other practical reasons. Where and how do you set the trim on the 737-6/700? I have always wondered because on the FMC it will tell you what the trim should be for the flight based on the config you gave it. Does the plane automatically trim or.....???Rgds,Brandon Glass

Hello fellow simmers,Can someone please help. I am getting an engine failure everytime I roll down the rwy. Everything is fine until about V1 the the left engine dies and a voice says engine failure. Can someone please tell me what is going on? I have a horrible feeling that I may have interffered with the Aircraft.CFG using an AirEd programme but not to my knowledge because I only looked inside the aircraft.cfg and not touched anything. The only thing I noticed is that everytime I now go into the FS( folder the files are highlighted in blue , not black, which i thought is strange.Thanks for you time.Paul
