Hi all,I am experiencing a very strange crash on my pc when loading FS9. This problem is not related to the FS9.1 update, and I have had this happen to me maybe 7 or 8 times in the last two months, at random. My default aircraft is the 737-800 so when starting FS9 you see the rotating 737 and the Airac databases loading up. However, in the crash scenario, rather than seeing the 737 you see a mass of weird shapes and textures where the 737 should be. After a few seconds the monitor goes black and stops responding.Rather than the PC or FS9 crashing, it appears the monitor stops working and becomes a blackscreen, and even a CTRL-ALT-DEL wont recover the PC and I am left to…

Hello,I wonder if the point of view in the wing views can be changed - like through a config file or something - so that it is more right above the wing rather than in front of the wing like now in the default configuration (2D cockpit only => virtual cockpit = wing view). Thanks in advance !

Does anyone have an idea when the latest version of Tim Metzinger's advacned tutorial will be available? I've heard so much about it and I'm sure it will help me with some of the issues I'm having with flying my 738.

First I wanna thank Mats Johansson and Brad Marsh, at the other topic they helped me to find a good checklist to that beautiful bird.Do you use any planning software? Like Fsbuild or Fsnav. How do you do with the charts, you already have them or you print just before the flight? I wanna know this because that

Greetings Crews,I've been trying to use the freware FS build version and could anyone explain how to execute this instruction given on the FS build site:"If you haven't already done so, set your FS2000/FS2002 folder on the Options/Export Directories page"Also from the fsbuild site, we download version 1.3 and then the 1.4 update...right?Lastly, is the best (and free) way to integrate ATC (IFR flight plans etc) with the FMC?Thanks,Pranav737-600/700/800/900

I just installed the 1.3 update to the 737. In the description window of the aircraft selection page in FS it had 1.2 before the update and still says 1.2 after the update. I did get a message that the update was successfully installed. Is it OK if it still reads 1.2?? Thanks.

I am finally getting used to Active Camera and now realize that it isn't the AC program but I guess the limitations of the cabin view in the 737. Below is what I get out the window of the cabin. What I would like to know is how do you get those great realistic shots such as in Cedric De Keyser's Brussels to Madeira flight pictorial? He has some great out-of-the-window cabin views as if you are a real passenger. His plane isn't missing any parts. Thanks. Reards, Tom

Does anyone know when and if there will be a long range (BBJ) version of the 737 soon? From what I have read, none of the current models (600-900) are used on long intercontinental hops. Thanks.

Is it necessary to arm BOTH the AT and at least one FD in order to be able to activate TO/GA power on t/o? [This procedure does not seem to be covered in the NG manuals.]Jonathan

Hi !I got a problem with this insufficient fuel warning in FMC.This warning comes up during flight very often and the ringing is killing my nerv. I calculated the fuel correctly and i always got about 3 or 4 x1000 KG's left on landing. The warning gets off about when i reach the last few waypoints.Any way to fix that ?Marcello

Good Day,I took the opportunity of the FS2004 update to clean my whole system with a fresh OS install. After installing FS2004 and the update, when I install my 737NG I get an error regarding the incorporated (limited) version of FSUPIC that is included. Will PMDG be updating this soon? Thanks.

Hello All - First I apologize if I've posted in the wrong forum. I figured I'd post here since I fly the PM737NG 99.9% of the time. My question is in regards to speeds in the approach phase of flight. I understand the flap approach speeds, VREF, etc. Since FS9 can't seperate aircraft properly during the approach, what speed do you continue your approach? (i.e. Under 15,000 ft with no STAR). The reason why I ask is due to FS9 setting you up for the approach 35 miles away from the airport. It seems to take forever at 3,500ft at 175 kts :-). Also, the little sneaky devil aircraft that all of the sudden fly over your head and land before you. I hope this makes sense!…

Hopefully this isn't inappropriate.I am wondering if PMDG has any openings for volunteer beta testers for their projects coming up. I work as a software test engineer/software QA specialist, have been simming with the PMDG 737 for over a year, and have been flying MSFS since FS2000. I'd love to help out in any way I can if PMDG has any beta positions open. Is there an application somewhere that I can submit for consideration?I searched for a more appropriate place to e-mail or post this but was unable to find any contact e-mail addys.Regards,Nathan Ramsey

Hi allWelcome to another Monday. Yesterday enroute to KSEA from KSFO, I changed my destination to KBFI (Boeing Field). When I went to update this in the FMC, it wouldnt let me change the ARR airport from KSEA to KBFI. This surely is possible, what did I do wrong? Thanks,Eric T737NG flight deck builder

Hi,Let me first say that the 737-series are the best planes I flew on FS2004 so far...so gongrats on that! I've just got some detail remarks on the way the cabin looks (I'm a bit of a perfectionist I know). When you're at the back of the cabin looking forward, the cockpit displays start showing through the cockpit door. Allso at the bottom of the back door there's a slit opening which would result in a huge decompression if it were there IRL :-) & when you look down at the floor in the toilet it sometimes looks as if you've drunk too much (result of the scenery popping through). I'm allso thinking of putting op a prize for the first one who can correctly read the sig…

Hi All,Most of you PMDG afficionados are anxiously waiting for the release of the PMDG 747-400. In the meantime for those of you who are interested in accurate flight planning you may want to have a look at the links below. The first flight planning tool is called PS1fpln and was written for the Aerowinx B747-400. Its author recently retired from the sim community and made his work available for free and as you can see from the Aerowinx forum http://www.aerowinx.de/forum.cgi/noframes/read/12857 it can be modified at will. PS1fpln is available here: http://www.hoppie.nl/ps1fplan/. I have volunteered with a couple of friends to modify PS1fpln to suit the characteristics of t…

Hello all,First, I must say what an excellent bunch of products you have, and I can't wait for the 747, MD-11, and the hinted 777. In fact, I finally made the plunge and bought FS9 simply because of the 747.Anyways, on to the problem I've been having - with PMDG 737-600/700.When flying around on VATSIM, I commonly get "cross XXXXX at XX thousand, XXX knots", or maybe I will be assigned a profile STAR, like the CIVET4 at KLAX (which has crossing restrictions at its various waypoints).Seeing how I'm often many, many miles away from the crossing restriction, I just change the MCP alititude to it, insert it into the FMC, and wait. But, when I reach the T/D, the engines will…
