Hi,While tweaking my system to get the best of it, I observed that the frame rate was much lower when looking through the left window (for example) than when looking forward (2D panel). For example, in a situation above the clouds where I get 52 fps looking forward, I would get only 36 when looking left. If I type W to hide the cockpit, I get 52 fps in all directions.I think this is due to the 'semi transparent reflective' windows that are on the sides but not on the forward view.Is there anyway I can remove the reflective effect from these windows?Thanks.Eric.

BAShort and sweet, I purchased my first GoFlight Module - a GF46 multifunction display.The unit has two display windows - the left window is a four character alpha numeric, and the right window is 8 numerals.There's a white button and then two concentric knobs, sort of like an aircraft radio.Using the GFConfig software, I set the white button to be a function selector and then the other knobs change the values. I can open the Front door by hitting Shift+E. That works fine. But when I hit Shift+E+2, the other doors will not open. I've tried all the combinations I know from hitting the keystokes all together, to hitting them individually. Nothing happens after the front door opens.Is there a setting I can do to rectify this?Thanks.

This was noticed in many pictures a while back of real NG's, but now after flying the PMDG NG for dozens of flights, I have to ask:Why does the MCP SPD setting of 100 always come up as a default? Before my taxi, I have forced myself into the routine of setting it to 250IAS since I found out the hard way that not setting it to the desire speed will cause somthing that looks like this to come up on the readout- A100 after engaging the AP button upon reaching 1000 feet on climbout. Then of course if you dont watch it, the airspeed drops and you set off the stick shaker. Now, at first I thought since the FMC automatically sets the climbout speed to the speed restriction of 25…

Hi,I'm going through the cruise performance PDF document for the 737NG and have got to a paragraph which states "Using the trip length column on the Flight Planning Table...."Unfortunately I don't seem to be able to find the Flight Planning Table in any of the documentation.Does anyone know where this table can be found?Thanks.Phil

I noticed in the tutorial of Tim's im following that he has Green Digital display not orange as i have on the MCP..Is there a place in the configs that i can change this color? Green seems to be much easier on my eyes than the plasma style orange..

Hi all, Just going over Tim's Tutorial v 2.0 again as not been flying for a while due to work etc... I was just wondering about.... I have updated to the latest Nav data etc and all my PMDG files are up to date etc, but I thought with the latest Nav data/Sid/stars that i would at least get to follow Tim's FMC route plan from KTNT to KTNT via Curve etc..but alas the CURVE waypoint is not available in the FMC unit it says no data available. I believe this must be omited from the latest files due to updates etc? I guess i have to use the old nav data etc that Tim's tutorial uses to be able to complete this correct?Thanks in advance,James..

Hi all.I remember when I've red PMDG 737-600/700 manual that this plane has two usable FMC . One is standard and open with normal commands "F" on the panel or with keybord shift-4. How about second FMC, how can I bring it up and connect to autopilot LNAV/VNAV ? I'm not able to find out the second FMC description on manual.Thanks allDome

I try to fly a Round Robin adventure from Computer Pilot magazine. I recently purchased B1900D from PMDG, and thats the aircraft I use to these nightflights. "Sitting in the cockpit" all of a sudden all ligths disappear from the panel. The engine is sounding and the airplane reacts normally to the yoke and pedals - but the panellights are all out!! I reset the flight and the lights appear in the panel again. Have anybody experienced something like that? Any solution to the problem?Kind regardsLars

Hi All, I wonder if anyone can help me with this question. When i set up to have an engine fire in any of the 737's, I get the alarm bell and i pull the fire handle for the relevant engine/APU. The question is. When i pull the handle, should it shut down that engine or do i have to do it. The reason i ask this, is that on my install if i pull the handle the engine keeps running as normal. However if i do this with the APU it shuts down. please can someone tell me if this is right or if it is not simulated. or if it is right and that after the alarm i have to shut the engine down. Well, it's that time. My printer spooler service is missing from my XP install! Nothing has brought it back, so I can't install my new photoprinter :(Anyhow, my system is slow anyhow, so I'm gonna upgrade!What processor should I go for? Another Pentium 4? An AMD? What's the best for MSFS right now that won't break the bank? I'm thinking no more than 250 USD. Anymore will be too much money. Feel free to float some suggestions. I'll need new memory, motherboard, and maybe videocard too.

For some reason unknown to me my Captain's Outboard Display Panel (on the extreme left) is dead and dark while all the other panels function normally.I cannot figure out how to bring it to life again. Help would be appreciated.Cliff

Yesterday I was doing a FS multi-player session through the internet with my cousin. I was with the 900 and he with the 700. For some what reason, when taxing, other engine number 1 was accelerating and decelerating. However, when toga is activted, both engines work. Just when the throttle is managed manually does engine number 1 accelerate and decelerate only. Any explanation to this?ThanksIvor

On my past two flights, my guage lights have suddenly died on me after having completed more than half the flight legs. It's like my PC "hiccups", or stutters, briefly and then the guages suddenly turn dark on the MCP. This didn't happen when I first installed PMDG's 737NG 600-700s. I do notice, however, that the individual guages will light up again when I turn the switches (ALT SEL knob, for instance). Very wierd. Any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks a lot.

Ok Experts,Here is your chance to show your stuff.Looking on page 8-49 of the FMC manual it says the 4th line displays the destination,DTG,ETA,and estimated fuel remaining at destination. OK Iam with it that far. Looking at the picture it shows:IGN DTG 82 Fuel 21.1HFD DTG 139 Fuel 21.1KBGR DTG 418 Fuel 21.1I fail to see where this is a prediction except for IGN. What am I miss reading here? How can I see a prediction of fuel at the destination?Thanks Steve
