Hi - silly question for those of you in the know I know but how do I find the ILS Nav frequency to put into my nav1 & 2 radio stack?I ask because I recently downloaded the 100 pmdg flight plans and flew from Luton to Palma de Mallorca with a given runway that was not ils prefixed, but enroute the fs9 atc vectored me for an ils runway for which I couldn't find the frequency. This hasn't happened before as I've always initially chosen an ils runway for landing and somehow or other the frequency has been available on the fmc but try as I might this time I couldn't find it nor could I remember where/what page on the fmc this information usually appears.Please helpCheersRi…

I bought the NG 600/700 first (online download); then recently I bought the -800/900 using online download from PMDG. Do I need to instal anything else for the 600/700 cockpit or do I have everything I need ?Jonathan

Hey guys,Was going through my logbook recently and after a quick look, I have logged almost 700 hours in the 12 months I have had the 737-6/7/8/900 series. However, I've only had the 8/900 for two weeks - still managed to log 45 hours in it! The large majority of my hours (approx. 70%) of my hours have been logged flying around Australia in the Virgin Blue 737-700's (until recently - now I can fly the 800's in Virgin and Qantas liveries). Don't get me wrong, I have experimented around the FS world in different aircraft and different countries - I just love the sheer quality of the PMDG737 and the ability to fly her in 'a day in the life of an airline pilot'.So, fellow sim…

Hey PMDG how about using GDI graphics for the standby instruments such as ADI, and the needles for the gauges. As you know the refresh rate for the gauges is slow and can be jerky. I hope you consider my idea for the 747-400. AlexPS: Any new screenshots ? There was a screenshot of the main 2D panel of the 744 posted by Marc H. a while ago..but that was a long time ago so the link is inactive, can someone please post that screenshot again. Thanks :)

I purchased my version of PMDG 737NG 600/700 inline and was able to download it, which was great as I could install it immediately. Well after a while I seen someone selling the same program on e-bay which had a CD case with commercial cover to it. Is that cover available to download anywhere as I have now put my PMDG 737NG 600/700 onto a CD. but have no cover for it. I have attached a small thumbnail for the cover I found online. I would appreciate if anyone could help me here.ThanksDecky

i thought that I had cracked programing my 737 NG from departure to arrival on the FMC only to find that when I call up ATC to land, i'm directed to a different runway. My question is,'Can I call up ATIS of my Arrival Airport during my approach, or before, so that I will have adequate time to reprogram my Arrival procedure on the FMC?' Thank You Marty

Hello and thanks to John_Tavendale for the answer, I can't install the 800-900 version and I don't know what do you mean with "your save location", I extract the files and run them, but shows the message "you must have installed the 600-700 version in order to install this product", and I can't terminate the installation. The 600-700 v. 1-3, is installed on my FS9.Anybody knows what can I do?What is wrong?Many thanks.John.

As I say below, it doesn't seem to me to be directly related to Active Sky, but I'm not sure. I flew tonight from KJAX to KATL and set up the flight per Lee Hetherington's tcas tutorial and I saw no traffic.I was called by jax center about traffic 10 miles at my 11 o'clock at my level never saw it tcas was set for 40 miles in the N setting.I had a US Airways calling me if I had him at my FL ahead of me 20 miles,never had him but he had me on his tcas with FSNav.I was desending into ATL had the switch set for below was called out traffic from ATL Center who had to divert me but the traffic never showed up never had a tcas alert.I am set up with FS internal as the tutorial says to do,what could be the problems? Hello PMDG,Like the real A/C, sometimes it happends that the APU won't start and they need ground source to start the first engine and then use the BLEED AIR from that engine to start the second one.But how can I get the Ground Air Source so I can do that???Thanks,

Hi Everyone,I'm new to this forum and to PMDG so hopefully someone can give me a little advice. After take-off I turn on the ap and lnav & vnav. My problem is this. When running the ap is it possible to let go of the stick and let the ap do the work or do I have to hold the stick throughout the flight? Whenever I let go of the stick the vnav light goes out and I have to manually get it back onto level flight before I can switch on vnav again. When flying non PMDG aircraft this does not occur.Thanks for any help,Eagle

I am having a problem with 737 seruies texture loading. If I select an aircraft from the list, sometimes the textures load and sometimes they don't. At other times, only partial textures load. For example, the tail and engines might be OK but the fuselage is blank.At other times , everything looks OK but when I switch between cockpit and exterior views, the aircraft textures may or may not show up.This happened rather suddenly. I'd been flying the 737-6/7/8/900 for several days in various liveries (all from the PMDG website) without a hitch then, last evening, this problem showed up. The problem is only with the PMDG 737 series. All of my other aircraft are fine. Any help…

Hi All,When asked to maintian a specfic flight level and even after cross-checking the QNH setting is on 29.92', MSFS ATC keeps informing me I'm either 300ft +/-...so say if I'm asked to maintain FL270, I have to set the MCP at 27300 or 26700. Anyone knows why this mismatch is happening?On a different note, has anyone tried the other PMDG liveries available for download here on avsim? How are they? I saw some pretty interesting ones like Olympic, Oman Air, Air Seychelles...Any opinions? Thanks,Pranav

Greetings Captains,Please help me with the following two problems I'm currently facing (I use MSFS 2004):Keyboard:For some strange reason, when using ATC, I can't seem to be able to select ATC transmission next to the '3' key..EG: If you ask for take-off clearance IFR or VFR or even departure staright out...you have to press 3 to select the option and ask for clearance. I confirmed that the '3' keypad works fine in other MS applications (word, excel etc) and more importantly in other default MSFS aircraft. This is really strange...Please please HELP! Why doesn't PMDG have a United Airlines livery for the 737 series? It is one of the main airlines. I know they are available on AVSIM, but why doesn't PMDG have them on their site?
