When I am in the air and I have the autopilot. On and When I need to desend or Climb I turn the Vertical speed up or down. But my plain does nothing can some one tell me how I can climb and descend using autopilot?Thanks

Can it be done??!! I have been trying to reconfigure settings through FSUIPC (fully registered version) and the PMDG key assignments but with little luck...especially when it comes to turn dials for CRS, IAS/MACH, HDG, VERT SPEED.I manage to get the commands to move in the PMDG panel but they are far from in synch with what my GF-MCP reads.Radios etc I have no problems with....just seems to be the MCP.Any help would be most appreciated.Kind regards,Justin Cooper

Recently I was setting up flight in the FMC and after I took off (I know, I know) I checked the LEGS page and found the two fixes above. I must have done something incorrectly but am not sure what. Does anyone know what these stand for and how I got them in my flight plan?Thanks.

I have just noticed that, in the past two days, I have now lost all lights (landing, taxi, navigation, beacons, strobes) in the external view, even when turned on via the panel switches. Also, flap extension no longer shows up, even though the effect of flap extension occurs and the flap indicator changes appropriately on internal views.There seems to be something wrong with external view. I am not sure what is going on. The only thing that I have added recently is the Roads/Railroads/Rivers/Powerlines from FS Genesis. I don't believe that this would have affected the aircraft configuration.Anyone have any ideas? I couldn't find anything when doing a search here.Than…

Hi all ,i have seen the ATR released by Flight 1,727 should follow soon.This time i will not make the mistake to get everything in a time.It take so much time to get along with a new aircraft that i find it waste of money to purchase all new release in the same time.So my decision is WAIT for the 747!!wise isn'it?Wadyu guys thinks?

Hi PMDG,I would like to know where you get all the resources to model aircraft instruments and systems accurately (FMC, MCP, Autopilot, EICAS, PFD, ND etc). I decided to ask as I have come across an in depth, detailed and lengthy video of a certified 747 captain explaining almost every system and switch in the 747-400 full motion simulator. But if you have a better way of obtaining info on aircraft systems please comment on them.Cheers;)Denis Allen

I have updated MS2004 to 9.1 and now I can not use 737 600/700 PMDG It tells me the fsuipc is not reconized I dont know what to do anybody knows please help

What items trigger this alarm? I seem to have brakes, flaps, trim, lights and a range of other things set but this alarm still goes off. I take off anyway and the alarm ceases and things return to normal. Is there a quick way of finding out what item hasn't been set correctly for TO?Bruce

hi all.. was about to take off at LFPG when suddenly, right afrer "V1" callout I get "Engine Failure" and both engines and my electrical and hydralic systems are all shut down! I cursed a little and reset the situation and saved just before TO. same thing again! Right after "V1", FAILURE! The third time I managed the throttle manually (without TO/GA) and I got her up.. I got "80", "V1" and "ROTATE" callouts but no "V2"! Well.. I am just clueless.. All procedures and checklists were all done properly. Any ideas?

My perfectly running PMDG 737NG aircraft has turned buggy after upgrading to the 737-800/900 today.First problem after upgrading, the keyboard "/" key doesn't control the speedbrakes anymore. I hit the "/" key and nothing happens anymore.Second problem after upgrading, the autobrake stays on "RTO" after takeoff. Before upgrading my 737NG 600/700, the autobrake would automatically move into the "OFF" position after takeoff, but after upgrading to the 800/900, it now stays on "RTO". Hi guys.....Every once in a while I get a weird message when starting a flight using an PMDG aircraft. Occasionally I get the same message when already using a PMDG aircraft. I think it is originating from within FS9.The message comes up in a seperate window and is titled something like "unsupported features". It asks the user "do you want to disable features on this XXX aircraft?" , where XXX stands for some default airplane like a DC3, etc. Does anybody know why this occurs and can it be fixed? I usually just hit NO, and I am on my way but I was hoping there is an explanation. Cheers and tks, Joe Swier

Hi,I just had a few generic questions:I'm confused, after we rotate, what speed do we maintain? I understand we set V2+15 kts on the MCP right? So what happens to me (between the time I manually fly the airplane and engage the AP at around 400ft) is that I rotate, typically overshoot V2+15kts since A/T is engaged. So the question is do we maintain this climb speed using pitch until AP takes over? Is that how it works?Second, using VNAV,the rate of descent is tooo slow....I always reach terribly hi....How do I descend and at the same time slow down....I guess this question has been repeated before, but I'd like some comments.BTW, yesterday I did my first autolanding...AMAZ…

Hey guys..I just got hold of FSNav with the intention of adding SID/STARS to my flight plans for more realism. Good program overall. The problem, question I have is how best to setup for the STAR/runway at the destination. I just flew from YMML to YSSY. I'm using some modified AFCADs to enable landing/take off on all runways. So I do my flight plan in FSNav and export to the FMC. The plan is to take off from 27, fly up to YSSY and land on 34L. I take off and fly a wonderful flight. All good so far. After starting my descent, i tune into ATIS at YSSY to get wind information. Low and behold it turns out landing on 34L would be a suicide in the current wind. So I request and…

I'm wondering how some of you have your set up. I haven't been simming very much, but got bored tonight and was playing around with the axis sensitivities. <--- That word never looks right to me, even though I know I spelled it right, LOL.Anyhow, in the sim, when I fly the various GA add-ons they are too responsive to every input, and this makes it hard to fly, IMO. Some have even said it's not realistic to have 100% or close to 100% for some of these axes.I decided to lower some of them, especially ailerons, rudder, and elevator. Of course I love the 1900...everything except the Sound, that is.It just isn't throaty nor does it have any turboprop realism...in my opinion, of course. I would like to know if anyone has exchanged the default sound for this bird for another that they feel adds to its overall quality.Suggestions, please.

when the autobrakes on the 600/700 are operating there is no green light on in the indicator above the auto brake switch, is this supposed to light up or maybe my autobrakes are not working,i have checked to make sure everything is configered for landing,i also have the latest edition of 737/600/700 thanks jim mcpherson

In order for me to use the SEL/OAT function in the FMC would I need to have the actual take-off table from that specific airport and runway I'm taking off from? Or does it not depend on the airport?
