Hi Guys,After takeoff, what is generally the standard climb rate of the 700 with average load? If I use vertical speed, I usually set it to 2500, otherwise I have been using level change. Just curious.Thanks in advance,- John

Hi guys,Just doing a few modifications to my 737-800 main and zoom panels to try out some aesthetic differences ( I have made backups of all my files! ).All I have done is removed the center support for the windscreen on both pages, and of course removed the backup compass gauge with no problems at all.My question is that I cant find the files to modify the night view of these panels, hence the center support is still there for night views. Gents, How do I strip off the livery to improve my frame rates? I want to get a bare skin model just like they do flight tests with - you know with the green coated alumninum? :-) Okay - i'll settle for anything close - can i get a model with no paint to see if my frame rates pick up?Other side of the coin - how much video CPU does drawing the skin/paint consume? I know something is going on because when I switch views with "S", I can see a lag sometimes in that the bare model is drawn, and then the skin is applied a second or two later.cheers,Josh

hello!i read the 2 posts about the "lost" gauges and i have uninstalled the pmdg 600/700 with the uninstall-tool and i use the new fsuipc 3.4, but my engine gauges still doesn't work...before i've reinstalled the 600/700 no gauge on the mainpanel worked, after the reinstall "only" the engine-gauges are out of work...are there any solutions ?thanx and greetings from hamburg, joerg______________________________________________________P4 2.8, Asus P4P800, 2GB ram, 256MB geforce 5900 ultra

After Fs9.1 patch,I get this message,in the red strip :-PMDG notification: CG not within tolerance, aircraft unflyableMoreover,even if engines are on,-EICAS indicators are all "shut off",at zero value,included fuel indicators-O/H ,all lights are ON-trying to fly,aircraft is really unflyable,crashinn downThe same problem in 10% of people I know.Thank for help and suggestions,other than uninstalling Fs9.1 patch!!!Romano Ferrari

After installing Fs9.1 patch,PMDG737NG does NOT work anymore :-a message in the red line above, inform me that : "PMDG CG (center of gravity) is OUT of RANGE,airplane is NOT flyble"-EICAS indicators are all at ZERO,included fuel indicators, even if the engines are running-All O/H lights are on-If you try to fly, you crashTHIS IS HAPPENING not just to me,but two people out of five I know,who installed Fs9.1 patch.Mr Randazzo, this is quite serious matter!!!Please try to investigate it ...and find a solution.Thank you very muchRomano ferrari

Before installing the updating of FS 9.0 I have adjourned (as recommended by the forum of avsim) all the addons in my possession, between which the Reality XP (http://www.reality-xp.com/store/upgrades.htm) that I had acquired on purpose for yours fantastic B1900, but however ' after the updating the panel doesn't visualize me anymore the gauge of Reality XP, but it appears those of default. What do I have to let for letting visualize them?? I repeat, I have replaced the lines of updating of Reality XP only in the directory Modules of FS9.. this, has not touched only any other files.. and how come don't I anymore see it now? Help me.. thanks

I've tried trimming manually, but I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I press the trim, and it goes back to the previous position. I tried switching the auto-trim off, but when I pull the safety off the switch, I can't press "+", only "-", which doesn't do anything. I hope somebody can explain me how to trim properly!

Hello all,Just 2 quick questions:Why is there something like a landing gear "off" position on the landing gear lever? I know PMDG doesn't simulate it, but IRL there is usually something like gear up, gear down & gear down and locked. I suppose gear off is similar to gear gown (& unlocked), but why is it there & why is it used IRL?I noticed on the FMC that on the second page of the PROGRESS-tab there is the SAT. I know TAT means total air temperature, which is allways much higher than the SAT. The SAT is the kind of temperature u usually get as OAT when flying as a passenger. hello!when flying in my wonderfull 737NG using the fmc i usually use fsnavigator to make a route and load this in the fmc(i use the export module to convert to pmdg rte files). but how if the destination runway change during flight i have a hard time rearrangind the route in the fmc. I allways end up whit the old route plus som of the new fx. star route??? how is this easely arranged?? how does the real pilots administrate a sudden change in runway landing??and offen i see that the vnav disconnectes because that during desent my speed is to high! what excackly does the fmc need to know to calculate the correct desent??hope you have the right answers ;-)

With this plane can anyone give me a heads up on what kind of performance I can expect.

I love the plane but cannot land it using the autopilot. Have spent 2 days trying to work out what I am doing wrong. I follow the tutorial exactly but the approach mode just disconnects itself almost as soon as the plane finds the glideslope. Then it will not reconnect and I am in a bad position to land manually. It is so frustrating for me and I am not going to spend hours on this; can someone tell me what I am missing please?Thanks

Hi,During descent I usually use V/S to loose altitude. V/S is a good confortable system (for the passengers) of descent but it increase the speed if we don't reduce speed before using it(ex. 260 kts).Is it possible to use spoilers (<5%)as speedbreaks like it is used on real planes ?If yes, how to do it and at which max speed can I use spoilers ?Thanks for you help.PMDG 737NG are very good planes. is it possible to somehow start a new flight with a 737-600 being cold & dark at a gate, not having the engines running? currently i'm loading a saved flight where I have shut down the plane and then choose the airport, time, weather, ...

All aircraft in my 737NG series have stopped loading since I applied the FS9.1 patch. There seems to be a problem with the panel. Everything is up to date concerning the 600/700 and 800/900 series (1.3 and 1.1 versions).:-hmmm

after installed patch and reinstalled the pmdg i have suddenly no SID/STAR in my fmc. i have got the newest airac and SID/STAR prom the pmdg homesite???what can be wrong???
