Friends - I have to admit I was slightly annoyed that I should have to purchase an add-on to 7376/7 in order to enable what was marketed functionality. I'm not having a go, it might well be what my local supplier had on their site, so no offence meant to PMDG or Precision Manuals.That being said, does it actually offer much functionality over and above seeing my scenery as a PAX?Thanks in adance - CHardy

Let's say I want to do a regular t/o and manual climbout, and aat around 3000 AGL, engage FLCH to initial FL100. What is the correct t/o procedure? I am unclear about using the FD and unclear about the N1 function for t/o. What annunciations should I expect to see on the PFD during t/o roll and climbout before I engage FLCH under the AP? I've spent too much time flying the PSS 744 and the default a/c and need help with the NG procedure. Appreciate any advice, thanks!Jonathan

I realise (before I get shot down in flames!) that the minimum specs given on the PMDG website are P4 1.4Ghz, 256mb RAM and 32MB graphics - however I operate a P4 1.3 system (all other specs OK). I'd like to purchase this aircraft (after the rave reviews!), but don't want to buy it only to have it ruin my FS experience completely in terms of frame rates.I have heard reports it works on a 1.1Ghz PC, but I know things like this vary form PC to PC - but can anyone offer any advice?

PMDG 737 2D PANEL IS BLACK I HAVE AREADY REINSTALLED IT TWICE HELP!!!!

I'm in a 737NG PDMG on descent to a runway (Airport not important). The precision approach ILS procedure is on my lap and all is well until the wind changes 180 and I'm being asked to "Circle to Land".I continue on the approach with the ILS course & radios set to the precision runway. With my "Loc" and Approach buttons set, I slow the aircraft and proceed down the glide slope until I hit the "Circle to Land" MDA (already set in the MCP). At his point I select altitude hold and turn the "heading select" knob to the left in preparation for a left downwind...QUESTION IS NOWDo I turn 90 degrees left, wait a while and then another 90 degrees right downwind until the turn t…

For some reason, the checklist will not show up in the kneeboard in my B1900. All other kneeboard screens show up ok, but not that one. I looked in the 1900 folder and the checklist is there and can be viewed in a web browser, but won't show up in the sim. I also checked my aircraft file to make sure the checklist name is properly typed in, which it is. Any suggestios as to what may be the problem or how to fix it? This problem only occurs in the 1900, not any other aircraft.ThanksKP

Hi all,I love to replay challenging landings and essentially sit on the wing window seat and watch the ailerons/spoilerons go crazy trying to land at a stormy airport.Unfortunately the aileron/spoileron movements are not repeated during the replay, which is a shame, making the experience less realistic. However, engine reverse and spoiler deployment are replayed correctly.Is this a fs2004 limitation or you guys have ommited implementing aileron/spoileron movements in replay mode?Best regardsArmen L Cholakianwww.veryquiet.com

On the PFD (Primary Flight Display) we have an attitude indicator with an Airplane Symbol on it. Looking in the "System & Operation" manual (No 07) the airline symbol lookes like 2 "L"'s laid down with a point in between. There is also two Flight Director Bars showing the direction given by the Flight Director. In my own 737NG the PFD's Airpalne Symbol do not looke like this, but instad like a "V". Is it possible to change between different Air Symbols or is the "V" a newer one?Cheers Lars

Hi allIve read thru the manual at least three times now, and Im still not quite understanding how to properly use VNAV. As far as I know, the FMC has been configured properly and EXEC. After taking off from the active, I engage LNAV and it works beautifully except (1). Then at @ 3000 AGL per the manual, I engage VNAV and it climbs to the initial altitude in the Rte/Legs pages and holds the airspeed, but after passing that waypoint, it never climbs or decends to the next waypoint's preassigned altitude/airspeed. What am I doing wrong?(1) Does LNAV have the ability to limit it's bank, so the passengers dont get thrown side to side when making a heading change per the FMC to…

Hi all,during the last month I noticed that I have lost the ability to replay parts of the flight via the default FS function.This is happening in short and long flights (45 min or three hours).Example, in cruise halfway through I can only have max of 10 seconds, at approach can give me the possibility of ~50 but definitely after the landing roll is completed I can have a max of 6 or 7.More specifically, during the landing I can have last 4-5 seconds after touchdown and before reverse is over and then if i can continue i can only have the next part (reverse till flaps retraction and so on ) but with no specific pattern.I checked it with the default cessna (30 min flight, …

Is there going to be a weather gage on the 744? I havn't seen anything about this so I figured I would ask. I hope that you guys can perfect it so that it can be added to the 737 BBJ :)

Learning to fly , I always had to glance at the ball under the turn coordinator to see if I was slipping or skidding when I climbed, descended , or turned. Step on the ball, was the rule that I learned by. I am contemplating buying a set of CH Pro Rudder pedals and it suddenly occured to me that there is no ball anywhere on the 737. How can you tell if you are slipping or skidding, or is it just not relevant and the rudder is only used for runway alignment in crosswinds?

Would it be possible to integrate a kind of an ACARS function within the new PMDG 747 FMC ? Or even in the existing 737 FMC ? While enroute I would love to be able to get the latest METARS of my arrival airport like in the real cockpits.Thank you !

Dear PMDG!I just wanted to ask if you plan to implement a "Pause on T/D" functionallity on the upcoming 747?Sometimes real life demands occupy me longer than expected while a longhaul flight is running on my computer, so it would be very convenient to have the possibility to let FS pause automatically as soon as T/D is reached.:-) BTW the new 747 screenshos plaily stunned me!THX,Raffael SchmidtPS: Will there also be three models (2D,VC,VC&C) of the 747 like of your 737NG?

Hello!I`m having a big problem....I cannot set the frequency in the Nav 1 switch....also Nav 2 and the ADF does not work to set...the only thing I can set is the squawk....Who has had the same problem? Who can help?Dears,Alex

HiI have updated my 737NG ver 1.2 to ver 1.3. When I look in the maninmenu under "PMDG" and then choose "About" it tells me that I have ver 1.2.When I check this file: AIRCRAFT/PMDG737-600/AIRCRAFT.CFG in the FS9 directory I can see the version number is 1.3 at the top of this file.Looking at the PMDG menu it do havev the old ver 1.2 style and not the new ver 1.3 style as depicted in the ver 1.4 of the PMDG manual (No 00) which describe the PMDG-menustructure.Why am I not able to see the new menu-structure?CheersLars

HiBeen looking at those stunning VC shots you put up, and noticed the CB panels on the side of the cockpit, I didn't know there were soooooo many :-) Anyone know what CB's would be on those panels (do they work? :-lol ), and those (sheep skin) seats look real comfy :-) When can we expect to see some details on this bird's features?

After in stalling your up grade on this aircraft the landing gear wont go down.did you in clude skids in to your up grade so the belly landings go a bit smoother???Its rough on the runways and the airport managers are getting mad at me for tearing them up.Please advise

Hi all !I noticed yesterday a very strange thing on my system: I made a flight with the 737-900, and nearly each minute I got some black clouds during a very short time (far less than one second). Not all the visible clouds are affected but only the clouds near my aircraft. The problems happens more often when taxiing. Even the taxiway and runway textures are black. When I'm using the spot view, the whole plane is white whithout any texture, but only when clouds/taxiway/runway are black.This happens only with the 737NG. No problem with the B1900, PSS, SSW, POSKY add-ons or default planes.Please note that I have resized clouds and resized taxiway/runway textures downloaded…
