I took this photo while approaching GMMX and was absolutely stunned. What XP12 is capable of is truly amazing, can't wait for future developments!

So, he deliberately closed the airspace around Lisbon 🙂 After all the updates it is still not possible to fly from or into Lisbon area in XP12.04 b2 😞 It used to be possible to start the flight from outside of the region and then land at LPPT, LPAR, LPMT, LPCS or LPST, but it is now simply impossible... If trying to load XP for a flight from this region the sim hangs on the start screen... Thanksfully I'm poor, so, my rig is a common Ryzen ... running Windowzeeeee ... 😜 P.S.: Could any of you Slack influencers slack Austin or Ben about that? Many thankyouzzzzzz because my rich friend with an M2 processor is getting desperate, and me too …

Hi Everybody, I just noticed that my real weather folder has weather data dating back to last year, shouldn't this data get flushed? It's really starting to build up at over 3GB, just dumped the entire lot of them!

When I did this video, only the original builtin AI traffic of X-Plane generated wake turbulences (as it did since "decades"). It was planned that in X-Plane 12 also addons like Livetraffic, Vatsim etc. should generate wake turbulences - now since 12.04 it works. I don't remember having seen anything similar anywhere else. It's lightyears ahead TM 😁 ... ahem ... AI traffic ahead, generating wake turbulences.

I was disappointed to notice that none of my JustFlight Piper aircraft work presently in X-Plane 12 (I don't get any option to enter a product key and I can't start up the aircraft). I presume it's not working because either the plugin used is too old and not compiled for Apple Silicon or something needs to be updated for XP12. Can anyone recommend some good small GA aircraft that are being actively supported for X-Plane 12 that either don't use plugins or have plugins that are being actively maintained/updated?

I am stunned with the latest update. The clouds have taken a big leap forward. All of these images were taken in the same place - there were about 7 individual cloud layers all interacting with the light in amazing ways. All I did was change the time and altitude between images, but all were in exactly the same place. Magical! Whatever LR are paying the weather team, it isn't enough 😁

Make this short but another thing that has impressed me is geographic accuracy in XP12, For years FSX and P3D (which carried over that type of error) had somehow managed to lose islands and some coastal areas with inaccurate data. ORBX Global and Vector sort of fixed it but not quite, In particular one place missing really annoyed me in previous sims because I wanted to create scenery at the place to recreate the old seaplane bases and town that used to be on this island, The island was called Samarai which is just off the coast of what is now Alatou or the Airfield at Gurney. Hi, there is a YouTube video explaining how to set up the reverse thrust, but I haven't found anything regarding the detents (Idle, Climb, MCT/Flex, ToGa). Has anyone figured out how to calibrate the TCA throttles for the Airbus FADEC, for example the FF A230? All the correct detents are identified in the calibration interface, but the yellow points are seemingly impossible to drag around for a good calibration. Thanks!

I have downloaded version 1.5.9, the first release for XP12 after a few betas already supporting the new platform. As usual whenever a new version of this aircraft is released I give it a try, and I always fail at the same spot 😕 - When using the tablet, in the Settings Menu, there are fields for a "Server", with a Port number assigned by default, and two empty fields: User / Password, that we're supposed to fill in if we want our settings saved(?) And an amazing Project by his developer who owns a real RV-7 and passionately decided to embark on the design of an XP12 port from an unsuccessful MFS version (MFS and it's flight dynamics lag way behind X-Plane's as we all know, although some try to hide...). I wish Larry Adamson was still at AVSIM and using sims...
