Hey there, as you can see in this picture, i have these annoying strips of light behind and on the wing, they are also in the cockpit... . Its on every XP12 aircraft. My question is: How do i get rid of them ? In this picture i fly the Toliss A321. I already reinstalled XP12 twice, did not helped. Here are my Graphic settings: My hardware specs: I9-9900K processor, RTX4070TI graphics card, 32gigs of ram. A WQHD monitor with 144hz. Hopefully someone can help me with that, thx!

If you were building a sim PC and used the 5800X3D cpu, what gpu would you use with it? say with a 40 inch monitor..

Gentlemen, I have now been flying the Felis 742 for well over 10k NM. Not a single crash or anything and judging by the distance flown it is up amongst my all time favourites. Yesterday was however an oddity in the extreme. I have made a habit of running HWINFO when I flight sim in order to have a firm grasp on temps and such. After yesterdays marathon (8hrs 'in the air') I had an average temp of about 65C. After said marathon I figured it was time to try out the Diablo 4 beta. I installed it and played it for a couple of hours after which I couldn't resist the Toliss A340 any longer 🤪 Bought it and installed it. Now I started getting crashes due to nvoglv64.dll…

As per title. I find the clouds in XP sometimes a little wierd, and as the 742 makes me watch them quite a lot I would like some improvements. What are you guys (and gals..?) opinion of VisualXP?

This looks interesting - anybody tried it yet? It is a plugin to adjust atmosphere, clouds, water, and scenery lights and shadow. Although it looks good, I am worried using shaders and plugins like this because default XP12 is so good.

If you haven't notice. The A320 NEO prelease in being demonstrated so new features. One them is a functional ACARS, AOC with a printout capability. This on of the most attractive feature that was seen in the inbuilds Airbuses for X plane 11 and now Toliss has it for its A320 NEO. I am in the mood to get something for XP12. What is the current state of said aircraft? I remember reading upon release it was hard on performance, but how is it nowadays?

Whats the easiest way to record a landing in X 11....? maybe 25 seconds total that will be seen on a cell phone screen...

Toying with getting this. Read a few of the threads and the feast sounds good. However the one question I can’t see is how reliable the save game is? Specifically on the big jets is the FMC/FMS saving the flight plan and autopilot data. This was still an issue in MSFS last time I played and even FSX with the beloved Level D 767, last night tried resuming a long haul flight with a complex plan that took 20 mins to input and it was all gone. If XP12 avoids this issue I will buy it in a heartbeat.

Good morning. I am just following a YouTube tutorial and when it says to switch Yaw Damper ON, it immediately springs back off. This is just after connecting ground power ON and setting the IRS. Thank you for your advice. I can switch it on after loading FMC. JP Reuland

DazzyB is working on making default AI planes better. He released AI Pack 0.2 Beta. It adds a lot of new AI Planes which can be configured to be used by default XP AI Traffic. Default ATC can control these AI aircraft and provide instructions. It make listening to default ATC radio a lot better. Here is a short sample. I wish someday Traffic Global and WT3 can be integrated into default ATC.

I have read a few articles that suggest the sensitivity settings are better raised for short joysticks for better control (I have the Logitech Extreme 3d pro). I would appreciate some input on this from you heli pilots - I want the control response to realistically simulate the inputs required by a real helicopter (I don't want to make flying a heli too easy, but I want a realistic feel). I can see the sense in this advice because a helicopter cyclic is much longer, so has much more throw than a gaming joystick.

I know lots of people prefer AI generated traffic in the sim, I used to use it a lot but have foregone it all and now only use Live Traffic (available at XPlane.org) this is a little contributed freeware plugin that generates traffic in the sim derived from real traffic data currently available on the web. It is a bit fiddly to get setup and to derive the full traffic experience you do need to get a subscription to a Live Traffic Site (ADSB data) only costs $5 a month so no big deal really. Hi Everybody, Anyone know where I can find the file that will allow me to turn off ground shadows? I'm tired of looking at two out of the three monitors looking good, while the third is always different. Depending on direction I face while taxing, it changes monitors and kills the entire experience. Note: I have no issues with editing any files. Thanks

Good evening. Since prior versions of Zibo, at a certain moment when I am loading data into the FMC suddenly it freezes and is totally dead. No keys are active anymore. Am I the only one? Is there a solution? Is it related to X-Plane 12 or Zibo? Thank you for your patience. JP Reuland
