Thanks to Damian Clark and the Active Sky Team. Active Sky XP12 Beta installed ok I have XP11 on one PC and XP12 on a second PC Active Sky XP12 Beta (version 8467) downloaded and installed OK on my XP12 PC. Only using Active Sky for XP11 or XP12 on one PC at a time. Notes: I use Avast Antivirus. During install Avast detected a problem and automatically started scanning the problem. It took 60 seconds or so to complete the scan and then Avast returned with All OK and let me continue. Anytime Avast pops up a warning just wait for it to handle the event and then continue. Navigraph: I have not looked into the Navigraph for ActiveSkyXP12 beta yet.

I was sightseeing in a few spots (checking out how SimHeaven looked in Australia and Oceania actually) and idly watching how the road traffic was working and there was something I had not noticed before, all the world is now driving left hand drive vehicles or on the right side of the road! Not sure if they can ever fix this one to have different countries traffic on the correct side of the road (that is right hand drive vehicles on the left hand side etc) Interesting. Ah well. Basically 77 countries or half the world drive on the left hand side of the road not just one or two. In Asia apart from China everyone else is on the left hand side, most if not all of Ocean…

Hi, Doing the Juhu Aerdrome - VAJJ (Mumbai). South Mumbai near the coast, a couple of miles west of the International Airport - VABB Airport has a lot of helicopter traffic, especially Pawan Hans (Augusta Westland helis) for Oil Rig operations. Some WIP shots ! This is still WIP .

I purchased XP12 Installed ok on my WIN11 PC Tested default planes ok I download the ZIBO 737 for XP12 (full product) zip v 3.55 and the Patch v3.9, and unzipped them. After install I selected ZIBO737 for a flight test and I got a complete PC frees up when “preparing world” during start up. Had to reboot PC. I seen posts mentioning loading the default Cessna first. Why I do not know? Next I started XP12 and loaded the Cessna then switched to the ZIBO. Now the ZIBO737 loads with a bunch of message boxes about “airfoil selfcheck” (screeenshot). It all started in early June 1980. I arrived to LPSC where the bigger hangar represented in the linked scenery bellow didn't exist, and my first glider training flight took place in the good old CS-PBY, a Blanik L-13.... Ran into a strange problem yesterday...I wrote a number of Lua scripts to handle the gnd spoiler and T/R arming switches on the Challenger...they worked fine, showed up in the "Custom Commands" section where I put them, and I successfully bound keys to them. And then when I restarted XP12, all those bindings were gone. When I re-entered the bindings, each one produced a message that CTRL+SHIFT+' is already assigned, even though I was trying to assign upper-tier function keys (e.g. F13-F22) and not the CTRL+SHFT+' key combo. Greetings! I am struggling with the steps required to install Taimodels' OMDB in X-plane 12. I can't find the .ini scenery file for example and I am not sure what the correct steps to complete the installation are. Lol... Can someone please assist? Thank you in advance!

bought REALITY XP and have been trying to get it in xp-12 with no success program is downloaded and in xp-12 plugins folder BUT it does not appear in xp-12 plugins program i have tried everything I know ...firewall off / re-install/ read instructions i get to install page to where it asks what folder to put rxp in I hit xp-12 box then it sends me to next page with C;/ and asks to brows ?? nothing happens ....i hit brows and not programs show up I back spact and hit xp12 option but do not hit box with xp12 ....just high light xp12 it allows me to continue and installs but is not in xp12 I have tried sending a ticket to REALITY XP but…

Hello Simmers, after installing simheavens x world europe in x-plane 12 b04 there are textures missing in all of the airports. After de-installing x world europe x-plane everything is back to normal again and all the textures are back. Anyone knows how to fix this? Thanks in advanced Peter

New member here. I am running Xplane 11 with Reality XP 430 (V2) installed. (Flying a Torque-Sim Cirrus SR22 and the stock 172, though does not really seem to matter which plane I am flying. Generally all has been working well, but recently two issues I cannot solve: 1) I cannot get the 430 to accept a designated VOR radial to intercept. My process is to select Direct to the designated VOR, then hit OBS which should populate a window into which I can select the desired radial, right? I see this works in the standalone gammon trainer. But no matter what I do, I cannot get to that window or a cursor that will do anything other than alter the flight plan. 2)…

during night flying, you typically reduce lights in the cockpit to a minimum. in the analog C172 you would adjust lights by turning the rheostat knobs or the LEDs under the glareshield but that doesn't do much for me in the default C172, it is totally flat even turned up all the way. I don't want to use the overhead flood or red flash lights. what am I missing? since under no circumstances do we want to compare x-plane to MSFS pictures, therefore real world pictures have to suffice to illustrate the case, this or similar is how I would hope to see it in x-plane, is that possible? (please no suggestions like: use this tool or that airplane maker or some other thingamjig) …

It feels like there is very little news happening in the x-plane 3rd party world. Or is it just me? I'm a flight simulation fanatic and I'm always checking for the latest news across all the sims to see what is happening and projects to look forward to. Given the beta period and a few months pass release, I'd expect to see a lot more announcements about planes, new airports, projects in the work etc. Just one look at https://fselite.net/ and you'll see what I mean.

I tried force changing a dataref in XP12 but it remains at the current value. I can't show anything at the moment because it's a project 🙂 When I'm viewing a dataref where is the code actually written? What file would it be in? I use Notepad++ so I can pretty much open anything. Oh it is an aircraft's dataref I'm trying to change.

Like many others, i had made the move to MSFS (I was actually a beta tester) and didn't touch XP11 for a year or more. I picked up XP12 when it went early access, but didn't do too much with it. I could see some definite improvements over 11, but nothing really blew me away. Then I saw a Youtube video that mentioned Sim Heaven's X-World scenery enhancement. I had never heard of it before, but, since it was free, I figured what is there to lose. Loaded it up and proceeded to be very impressed!
