Hi Flying XP12 few weeks now and no issues so far, installed Pilot2ATC and works fine, however, seems the XUIPC plugin blocks nose wheel steering (didn't assign any keys in Pilot2ATC that matched the steering on/off in XP12), moved the XPUIPC 2.0.2.0 plugin to desktop and reloaded XP12 and the nose wheel steering works again. XUIPC 2.0.0.0 causes CTD when aircraft loaded XUIPC 2.0.2.0 causes loss of nose wheel steering no CTD What is the latest version? Setting a key to turn on/off nose wheel, then going back to aircraft did not resolve the issue. Creating a new yoke profile did not resolve the issue Logitech G Flight Yoke syst…

I got a 32 inch tv for 1080 sim by Vizio. Not a great tv but it improved some things right away, instrument panel and asphalt was clearer.... but there is some occasional blurring here and there in the distance....I am on an M1 Mac mini 16 gig ....if I put together a decent PC set up with say at least a 5th gen ram capability motherboard and compatible chip and maybe an AMD 6700 series or better GPU..do you think the Vizio will reflect the quality parts or is just a crappy tv...?Is the Mac known for GPU mediocrity..? I would be happy with a very clear and responsive 1080 experience, don't need 4K...

Hello folks, Looking for some advice. I updated my version of the Islander to 2.0 after the recent update release. I am running this is in X-PLane 11, so this may be a dumb question. Everything runs great, however the central Garmin panels in both turbine versions are dark and I can't see how to switch them on. Tried on the 'on' button but to no avail. I wasn't 100% sure if this update was also for V11 as it mentions optimized for v12, however I wanted to ask. I am probably just missing a step. Any advice appreciated. Need some help!!! Im in the Boeing 738 flying YSSY - NZAA @3500 ft. The cabin has been properly pressurised and the aircraft is flying below 350 IAS. After about 5 minutes flying at cruise speed and altitude, the first officer’s ALT HORN sounds and doesn’t cease. Because I’m using the X-Plane 11’s B738 the ALT HORN CUTOUT button isn’t clickable. Any ideas???

I'm trying to modify the default 737-800 on X-Plane 12 for Mac (build 12.05r1) to have JATO rockets. Could somebody please give me a step-by-step guide on how to add them as well as trigger them? Thanks.

Hi folks, I posted on here a few weeks ago saying that there had to be something wrong with my setup because the Xplane 12 image quality was so unbelievably poor, it looked like it was being run on a BBC computer from the late eighties. Things got a bit heated (not by me, I should add), as they so often do, and I rather lost touch with the thread. Hi, I love the Simionic bezels and X-Plane 12, but have an issue with the Autopilot. When I select a gps based route Eg flight plane or direct to or a gps based approach I don’t get any response when I push the Nav button. Nav works perfectly for ILS ( VOR) based approaches and radial tracking, but I cannot get gps on the OBS. So for example if I select direct to and put in a destination and activate, it shows in the top line of the G1000 PFD, it also shows the route on the MFD, but when I push Nav on the autopilot, the OBS does not change to GPS, nor does the autopilot or FD follow the direct to course. Couple of things I would like to say about this flight simulator software program to get a sense of perspective. I have no performance issues - none! I concur with Mr Austen that the matter of roads and joins is an issue and that correct high level cloud depiction remains elusive. Sure there are some minor thing here and there but overall I as a humble user say that it is without a shadow of doubt the best computer based flight simulator program I have ever run on a PC. There is something about the way XP12 manages scale that makes it comprehensively akin to the 'real world'. Light and shadow is managed effortlessly and for atmospheric conditions. Anyone else have this issue where the Avitab doesn't register mouse clicks in VR? I had recently re-subbed to Navigraph and the charts have been helpful while in VR in other sims but I can't even click on the icons.

Out of 12 million users, "Missions/Campaigns" are one of the most frequently requested features MS/Asobo receives. While I greatly enjoy the flying part of XP, I'm often seeking something more than A to B or sightseeing. MSFS isn't "there" yet when it comes to flight model, and a lot of the Missions they showed (a la the Canadair water bomber) would be more satisfying in X-Plane 12 for all the usual reasons. Given X-Plane's First Principles focus, it'd be great to see that kind of thing come to XP. Far more satisfying than better road edges and such...

Hello, Recently I've been flying the Zibo mod 737 and I've been struggling with a problem in the final approach. When I press the APP mode button (with the correct ILS frequency and both localizers captured) my plane only follows the vertical glideslope but ignores the horizontal one banking left or right and ignoring the path to the runway. This has happened to me several times causing sometimes to crash the plane in bad weather conditions. If anyone had the same problem please help me because this is really frustrating. If there's some mistake in the text I'm sorry, I'm from Spain. Thank you.

Hello friends! I have recently built a new rig and have reused the ssd + hdd in my storage to cut costs. I went to load up the flightfactor 777-300, and i could not hear any sound. This also includes the other aircraft i have BSS soundpacks for (Toliss a321, a319, JDa330). Attatched is a 1 minute youtube video. I added a second monitor on the left of the main monitor...I am going to just run the main 32 inch and a 24 left side and that's it. I thought I would have to go into the Mac display settings but after watching a video on X plane 11 multiple monitor set up it seems that I can get everything going in the X plane 11 graphics setting..just add the offsets correctly (-72) and maybe adjust some vertical and bezel issues...is that correct??? both monitors will be run out of a Mac M1 mini using the hdmi and 1 usb C thunderbolt port..

Recently, a new airport was opened to the public in my country (LRBV for those interested). The project was announced a few years ago and it was supposed to be finished in 2022, but was delayed. Honestly I wasn't expecting to have it in x-plane too quickly but then I found out that the other sim already has it for free, with realistic buildings and all, and realised there's not much interest from the community in developing scenery for x-plane anymore. The old object libraries weren't ported to XP12, many of the airports too, and the gateway is a mess of airports that are unclaimed and unfixed. Hi everyone;) Yesterday i started a flight in b77W by Flightfactor. It was a flight from San Francisco to Frankfurt so around 11 hours. Everything was fine until climbed to my cruise altitude of FL310. As i reached that FL the aircraft climbed further it self. so i was forced to use V/S FPA to decend to my planed FL310, which was also my optimum FL as i read in the VNAV Page. After that incident i turned VNAV off so i pressed the VNAV Button on the AP Panel. Around 20 Minutes later i climbed to FL330 because that was now my optimum FL. Around 4 hours later the aircraft appears to descend by its own like i can see it in the Volanta statistics. It happens while VNAV w…

They've been published. MSFS is obviously 1st in popularity. No surprises there. The big surprise is that XP11.50 is 2nd at about 35% to 40% of people using it. DCS 3rd. X-Plane 12 4th. P3D is behind all of them. X-Plane is doing much, much better than I expected. And I expected MSFS to be much further in front (with 10 million downloads). Sometime ago I participated in a couple threads at the .Org regarding soaring flight in XP12. Back then we were discussing, among other aspects, the fact that X-Plane's flight dynamics doesn't cope with some features common to most higher performance gliders, like th euse of flaps with negative settings.
