X-Plane 12 compatible small GA aircraft

Featured Replies

Another vote here for any of the Aerobask aircraft. In addition to the DA50RG (my favourite) and the DA62, they recently released a DA42. They also have a Robin DR401 that they released as freeware. Can't go wrong with any of them in my opinion.

Airfoil Labs has also updated their excellent C172 NG Digital for XP12.

Hmmm, this morning I checked the airfoilabs support forum and missed that update? Good News!!!

Wondering why nobody mentioned the SIAI-Marchetti SF-260? It was both plane and rep plugin updated quite fast and work like a charm. For me still the most immersive small GA ever (at least in XP) and none else coming close.

Cheers T.

Yep this addon is really nice!  And it looks even nicer in xp12.

Absolutely even though the da62 is more powerful I've found the da42 to just be a little nicer.  Maybe cause it's newer - love the sounds.

Couldn't agree more. I don't do a lot of flying of twins but when I decide to take a break from my DA50RG, I go for the DA42 over the DA62 every time.

I just flew the vFlyteAir Grumman Tiger in 12 without any problems. Great little airplane. Always wanted to fly a real one, but had to settle for Cherokees...
