One of the reasons why I enjoy flight simming so much is that it provides me with a sandbox to do stuff in. My latest little thing has been a conversion (with full permission) of some of Gregory Putz's brilliant FS2004 sceneries into XP10. Anyhow, these are in progress shots of CJN4 Assiniboia; I still have a bit more work to do. The 3D objects are his, everything else is my work. Disregard the FPS showing - this is on my work/dev laptop, which is pretty far from a gaming desktop! Just thought I'd share. Edited the image links.

Been on an Xplane hiatus for awhile now ad am curious if either of these have been addressed by LR in the last year?

I'm trying to update my NOAA Weather plugin.... from the guy "joan" over at the Org It was working fine but a few days ago my weather was frozen on a certain theme. Raining at any airport I go to. I wanted to update to 2.2a revision. Tried that and python no longer sees my scripts. The NOAA stuff is here - any ideas? Well, it's been just over two months since I picked up X-Plane on Steam on a whim during the Steam Summer Sale. I thought to myself at the time that it would be a nice platform to co-exist with my FSX install, something new to play with, but I really didn't think that anything was going to seriously replace my current platform. After all, I have more money then I care to admit invested in scenery, a hangar full of the best payware aircraft ever released, and the oppourtunity to beta test a ton of new toys on a regular basis. I've been browsing through the file library at the Org in the last few days and have picked up some really nice airports. Can anyone recommend some good airports, or some authors who have good stuff? So far I've been really impressed by the airports made by MisterX6, FoxThree, Xwind2406 and RikNilsson. Does anyone have any other recommendations?

Something that been bugging me for a while but ive been ignoring it, when using the mixture control its very subtle until about halfway down then suddenly the RPM will drop to the point that if i don't push it up more the engine will cut out? Anyone else experience this? Im running the saitek throttle unit and all the axis are calibrated as far as i can see, its making leaning for taxi etc very tedious

I have a Hotas joystick X55 and also an older Saitek Throttle hooked up. I would like to assign the Saitek throttle to be the condition levers in the LES Saab, but I don't see an entry for condition levers in the X-plane joystick assignment menus. Does anyone know how to do this? Thanks Rob

Hello, Yesterday after the windows update my monitor resolution has screwed up.Looks like windows updated an old version of the driver.Now inspite of updating the driver from nvidia site the resilution is not back.The nvidia graphics card has stopped working and its back to onboard graphics..i installed an old version of the driver and i was able to get the resolution back.but the update screwed it up again.Looks like i will have to wait til microsoft fixes this..Anybody in the same boat?

So I have $20.00 buring a hole in my pocket, and two aircraft on sale.... The Challenger 300 is the daily deal at the org, but I also got an email last night that the LES DC-3 is on sale. Before I just tell myself to buy both (which I likely will... no willpower here!), are there any drawbacks to either aircraft? I note that the LES DC-3 is a few years old, how does it compare to their Saab? Are they both worthwhile purchases?

At the risk of sounding totally stupid. But I can't find the autopilot for this plane. Set flight level and heading but can't find the heading, altitude and etc. for the autopilot. Please enlighten this poor soul. Thank You. Bill XPlane 10.11

MisterX has released KPDX and it looks great! Not only that, but he has also released his library which includes static aircraft with liveries for a lot of North American airlines, Airport vehicles, Ground textures, taxi lines, Vegetation items (grass, trees), Various cars, and trucks. He also said that he will probably create a poll to help decide his next airport. Now, go enjoy all your flights into Portland.

Hey Folks, I recently downloaded some airports in my area and have had trouble getting them to work properly. I wound up having to update a bunch of my libraries but I am still getting the annoying pause when the airports are in range saying that they might not display right. After reviewing the logs I discovered that I am missing an object but I am not sure what library the object is missing from. It is the same object for all three scenery's. The message I get is ' Unable to locate object: objects/decorations/tracteur_dynamic.obj " any help would be greatly appreciated, Scot

Number one question is why does it mess with my internet connection so much? I have the demo and when I use it for 15 minutes or so and exit out I cannot get on the internet. I have to reboot and then the internet is slow for at least half an hour or so. Nothing has ever done this before so please, what is it doing and how can I stop it. Other less important but still want to know questions: Is there a cycle views key? I really hate to shift/# to get to the virtual cockpit and then outside view or any other view,,need a cycle view key. Can anybody help me out? I have installed Europe HD Mesh V3 and I have Aerosofts Amsterdam Schipol installed, yet its not showing up in the sim? Is it possible that the HD Mesh has overwritten the Amsterdam files and taken higher priority? How do I fix this?
