Beta 1 is finally out , now installing.

Would love to fly the 340 as my x-plane go to but I can't get my MCP (Vrinsight MCP 1) to work. I am so used to flying with it in P3D it's almost an requirement for x-plane. I could easily become an x-plane convert if only MCP would work. Any help much appreciated.

Hello, For a while now, I have fancied the idea of learning (or trying to) to learn helicopter flying in XP. Many people have said how difficult it can be and that's kind of put me off, but I've decided I'm going to give it a bash. So, where do I start in terms of equipment and learning please? Initially, I'd like to keep the costs low in case it doesn't work for me, if it does, well then I'll get better stuff. As a starting point, I've got a joystick with rudder control included, what else I need, I don't know. All and any advice would be most welcome please Thanks Phil

If you look on the simheaven home page, the post talks about w2xplane sceneries and how they come in multiple versions. However, when you go to the sceneries page to dowload them, there is no option, there is just one of each. I noticed that the scenery packages were updated after the post, so maybe there will only be one kind from now on, is this correct? My apologies if this is common, or if this addressed somewhere. My searches through the various sources that I'm aware of at this point didn't turn up anything! 1) When using the W2XP osm+ag packages from Simheaven, I get trees growing though my osm buildings. This is more and more noticeable the higher I turn up the rendering settings for trees. Is this normal? Do I issue the residents of XP sim-land free chainsaws? Have I installed something wrong? Only because of the SoundMaxx purchase, was I even curious to fly the XP 10 default Cessna C172. I think it has more flight dynamics...than my beloved Carenado C377...you get moved up, around there...and with the new sound package installed within its guts....this bird will be flown on a regular basis, for sure. I am flabbergasted! Sheerly , plain flabbergasted.... I have been flying Carenado sleds exclusively in XP 10.x for as long as it came out. I am floored! I mostly fly the C377 SkyMaster, and the B200/350 KingAir. Fine...got used to how they handle...seemed kinda dull...lackluster in the air...not much interaction with the atmosphere. Hi, I live 20 to 30 miles from my nearest airfield and this can be a pain as I mainly fly VFR photoscenery, very low and very slow. In real life, I have a field behind me that would make a perfect grass strip and I would like to be able to begin XP from that location. In P3D, this is a very simple no fuss thing to do to set it up and start my flights from there. In XP it's seeming to be difficult, can this be done in XP and if so, how please? Thanks Phil

Just purchased PA34 200T SENECA II v3 and its crashing and in the log file of x-plane it states:- Gizmo64: OpenGL<->Physics Offset Default Init: -13133.294, 64.165, -4174.856 Gizmo64: Tried to use physics engine without loading an OBJ8 file. Hello to all you fine X-Plane folk, thanks to the recent Steam sale, I have now become one of you. ^_^ I've spent the few days since the sale familiarizing myself with the sim, and with what freeware is available. I've installed the NA region only for now, as well as CZST. I spent some time downloading and trying out a few of the freeware aircraft available (my favorite so far being the amazing 2D C172 panel, I've never really been a fan of 2D panels before, but wow...), and then I moved on to installing some of the HD Mesh covering western Canada & south Alaska, as well as a few of the other recommended enhancements, such as Treelines & Farms, and the world…

May be easier to use INSTALLER in main root folder of XPlane folder. Beta 1 was glitchy and crashed on startup. No issues with Beta 2. Recently I purchased X-plane 10 Global on sale. I have been flying FSX and P3D since day one of their respective releases, but lately have become frustrated by FSX not being about to utilize the power of my high end system and P3D because of their continual upgrades that require a complete new install . With my addons, this is a 10 hour job. I did have x-Plane 9 from it's first release but was frustrated by it's user interface and lack of any 3rd party addons. I've flown many virtual aircrafts, but never airliner. Now I want to start with them. And I don't really know what plane to buy. I want it to have 3d cockpit, good textures and that it would be good step for beginners. I've read some of reviews and end up with deciding whether to put FlightFactor Airbus A350-900 in shopping basket? Price 50 $ is acceptable. Hello Everyone, I want to fly for my airline in xplane 10, so that I need to have Fsairlines plugin. I searched on internet but couldn't find any topic about it. Can I use fsairlines on X-Plane 10 ? If yes how ; if no when will fsairlines be compatible for X-Plane 10 ?

I am looking for an Arrow III and found the VflyteAir version... Immediately the "bubble-ness" of the cockpit proportions stuck out to me; while a review noted "VflyteAir has had full access to a real Arrow III (1977 PA28R-200 located in Texas, USA), and every nut, bolt and panel has been measured and photographed to reproduce the same aircraft in X-Plane, and that sort of minute detailing here really shows." I use X-Assign for different kind of aircraft/rotorcraft but each and every minor update ruins this work, pretty annoying work to go through every time .... Is there any way to avoid this?

hello dont know if this would be possible but id like to use prepar 3d as an image generator for scernery and use xplane for flight dynamics using an external program linked to xplane 11 driving prepar 3d i think many other people would be interested in this feature as well any plans for this sort of feature ?? thanks

The topic is my question. I've research this and it appears that it depends on the XPlane aircraft. If so which ones and how do I enter it. Or is there another way? Sorry but I am confused on this issue. Thanks in advance to all who reply. Bill
