Hi guys, This morning I purchased New York city and New York airports for XP, and I've noticed that the terrain textures are really blurry. I have my texture resolution set to high, as anything higher turns my sim into a slideshow. I'll post a screenshot when I get home of what it looks like but does anyone else find the ground textures really blurry and low resolution when set to high?

Just today I was thinking about my installation of X-plane steam edition. I have it installed in 'Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\X-Plane 10' I was thinking. To get the benefit of my 64 bit OS, should it be installed in 'Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\X-Plane 10' Just a thought. Thanks.

I took a look at the PMDG website today, lots to say about the new DC-6 pending release, but I noted that the only OS mentioned was Windows (in system requirements). I may have missed the Mac OS requirements, but wondered if anyone here knew anything? (I guess waiting 2 days will tell the story . ). Thanks, Bruce.

He is incredibly dismissive of the current experience and it honestly isn't a very consistent analysis vs what Flyinside & DCS users are saying. I think they should have dug a little deeper on options (like Flyinside), and Oculus tweaks to rendering rez I've seen discussed on Reddit, before giving such a strong opinion on the current situation. So I'm starting to build up my x-plane install, etc. and I've run into an issue that I don't quite know how to fix... It's concerning shadows. Shadows inside the cockpit, and also external shadows, for example those of my aircraft against the runway or parts of the aircraft against other parts of the fuselage. The level of jaggedness they have is horrendous, and really take away from the immersion factor. I have seen videos/screenshots of other folks where these are quite smooth, but I haven't found a way to change the settings on my setup to come even remotely close to that. Hi guys, Just thought I'd treat myself following my birthday and added the FF 767 to my virtual hangar! Does anyone find this one particularly taxing on performance? With the IXEG 733 I am able to run AA at 2xSSAA+FXAA, however this setting tanks the frame rate in the 763 and I have to reduce it to just FXAA which doesn't look as nice. I can only guess it's all the reflections they've built into this one? Does anyone have any tips to improve performance with this?

Hi all, I'm only able to connect intermittently to my iPad running FlyQ. No issues connecting via FSXFlight to FSX or P3D, so I know it's not an IP issues. Any ideas? thx Andrew

Tugmaster with IXEG737 problem? I have a weird issue with XP 10... For starters, the ground beneath me seems to "shake"... I will start a flight, be sitting at a runway, and the ground just.. shakes..! Note that this is not some aircraft effect, or whatever. The aircraft is cold and dark, and this is still happening... The shaking is pretty evident and even more so because it's as if two ground "tiles" were moving between each other... Then the second issue is the sky. Tried a night one to check out XP's famous lighting. To my surprise, the sky in front of me, stars, etc., seems to "tremble"? As good as Real Terra Haze is, There is just 2 many darn buttons to play with (for me anyway) I cant seem to find a happy balance, i have spent hours adjusting the sliders, I think i have it perfect, I then fly higher and it looks terrible. Yes yes i know the problem is Me. I have tried the 4 Pre-sets but, No 2 was close but the blue haze was way 2 much, I tried turning it down but it seemed to mess everything else up. Hi all, I'm having 3 main issues with the X-Plane version of this (and other issues with the FSX version...) 1) I can't properly calibrate toe brakes... this thing simply careens all over the place. I'm using Saitek pedals. 2) When I mouse over controllable knobs, the whole panel "jumps" around a bit. Very annoying. 3) The plane starts moving or rotating in place. Even with the parking brake on, it starts rotating. Any ideas?

I lost all hdd data (photo scenery for x-plane). I am a little lazy to download file by file (again) from this free photo scenery website. http://zonephoto.x-plane.fr/Cartes.php I ask if there any big files (torrent, Dropbox...etc) for photo scenery.

I don't understand this. X-Plane is silky smooth but Skymaxx 3.1.2 is showing a negative value for the video ram (-50-200) but GPU load is "only" 50 % (GTX 970 overclocked). This happened after updating to Win 10 in fact. Actually down to -450 now overflying default scenery (+W2XP) between LOWI and EHAM. Before the update I was only just above the limit most of the time.

Loaded up X-Plane 10 again last night and feeling my way around it, playing with settings and so on. Just wondering, what are your Favorite Airport Scenery Add On's. Looking for Quality. Appreciate any suggestions you may have Thank you :smile:
