Hi, I would like to switch from FSX:SE to X-Plane - I've bought A330 from Jar Design (big dissapointment), B767 from FlightFactor (great), Skymaxx, and few other addons. Now I'm in a phase of FPS tuning in display settings. I started from lowes possible setting and went up to situation I like (but still no shadows and HDR). I have i5 (4.4 GHz and GTX 660 with 3GB RAM). Result is 20 FPS in B767, but if I lower the resolution in the display settings my FPS will go up to 70. Then I change resolution back to 1920x1080 and FPS will stay at 70. Is it normal? Sometimes it drop back to 20 and I have to repeat the trick. Now I know that my system can give me pretty fluiid …

Hi, Anyone here know why Steam suddenly changed my XPX location to the other default steam games? It wants to redownload the whole thing. I have XPX set on its own drive ( I: ) but the other steam games are on D: which it tries to redownload and install there. How do I reset the location its in? Cants seem to find it in steam. Thanks

I recently made a few sceneries with World2XPlane. Generating Manhattan gives me some buildings which reach up to the stratosphere. See picture below please. I remember having seen this before but I can't remember what the reason was. Using latest pbf file, poly file, config with and without. exclusions. Thanks for any hint.

Hi all, I'm looking for a global airport scenery download, as I like to fly using FS Economy. It's not difficult to download the freeware version of airports and drop them in Custom Scenery, but is there some sort of global airport pack that adds generic buildings to various airfields? I have seen http://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?/files/file/27582-prefab-scenery-for-25000-airports-with-exclusions/. But it is still lacking in many airports (not complaining -- It's wonderful for the airports that ARE covered). If anyone has any info, it'd be much appreciated!

Hello for europ i need these series : ff_library Europe_Library OpenSceneryX R2_Library world-models w2xp_Europe right? but what set of libraries i will need for asia? i 've made a custom latest for osm data specially for my region..also created related tile as photoscenery, what about the others? thank you

i would like to make a tile for that region(pic below) but it seems there is no information=size 0G ,so i can not make tile? is there any other method to doing that?

I recently purchased MCE X-Plane which states it has support for Flight Factor / VMAX 767-300. I launch X-Plane with FF/VMAX 767-300ER aircraft, select MCE X-Plane from plugins menu. MCE starts up then I get the following on screen message: {"MCE} Looking for changes to current aircraft", the screen freezes and I am forced to exit X-Plane. I appreciate any suggestions to solve this problem. I am operating with Windows 8.1. X-Plane version 10.45. MCE X-plane 1.2.6.0 Thanks, Dave Bernstein

I'm a long-time FSX/P3D user new to X-Plane (I purchased it from the Steam store). I've figure out Shift-9 to go into the 3D cockpit, hold right mouse button to pan, double-click right mouse button to lock panning. Is there any way to assign a keystroke to toggle panning mode? I figured out how to assign functions to keys but don't see anything under "view" that looks like it has anything to do with panning in the 3D cockpit. Is right-click/double right-click the only option?

Hi After new installation of XP it seems add one ALABEO aircraft has serious problem in graphic look at the legs outside of the aircraft also wierd thing going on on propellers its not look like propeller any idea? thanks

As some of you might have noticed, there was a long hiatus away from X-Plane 10, and also FSX, while I diverted into two well known combat flight simulators, DCS amd Battle of Stalingrad. I came back to X-Plane 10 for two main reasons - good News about upcoming products and fixes in version 10.45 and the upcoming 10.50 AND a need to really get away from the addiction of spending hours in front of the PC monitor, with that ridiculous TIR5 in my hat, and hat in my head, playing war games ... shooting at other aircraft... SMP v3.1 has just given me a great virtual flight experience, with weather injected by the NOAA plugin, and the clouds beautifully "painted" all around me. Rain was there, the right amounts of wind variation and even turbulence both thanks to NOAA plugin, but the clouds, the light, all of the sky visuals were simply Great! No fps degradation at all ! Bring the connector!!!!

Hi All, Just got an email from X-Aviation regarding V3.1.1 I have installed this new version and currently enroute form EGHI to EGPF. So far it looks way better than 3.1. I was really struggling with my FPS in clouds and was sometimes in the teens. Tonight I even started to dial back some of my rendering settings in X-Plane which I haven't touched for ages. Thankfully 3.1.1 seems way better. I noticed the default setting the draw distance is lower for a start. Have to say it looks amazing. Really looking forward to the weather connector Happy Days Richard

as i created my own tile and there is not roads rivers etc...,should i use w2xp_Europe_net just beside w2xp_Europe? it is not necessary to copy the content of inside folder to another? i am not sure thank you in advance

I have made numerous "real" buildings for scenery in FS9. If someone wants to make an airport or airfield that I have already made for FS9 and wants to use the buildings I have already made (presuming it is even possible after some twiddling, I have no idea if it is or not) then email me at [email protected] I will not be following this on line at all, but it applies to P3D and FSX too.

Hi it sounds strange but when i am inside the cockpit my frame rate is seems to me locked at 20fps,when outside going to 50 or more ,this is high eng pc,i have yesterday 40 inside the cockpit!,i have no idea how something like that happened to me, any idea please? thanks

Hey guy I just bought funner flights JFK for xplane, however in the videos there are ground services and other aircraft, but when I installed it the airport was there but no aircraft or ground services. Does anyone know what I need to do?
