I purchased and downloaded the zip from Carenado's site, along with the G1000 dataset. I Unzipped the package (1,171 files @ 228mb) and then placed the aircraft folder in x-plane's general aviation folder, like I do every other purchased aircraft. I placed the G1000 Carenado folder in XP's root directory as instructed. The Sr22 does not show in x-plane for me to load. Did I miss an activation step for Carenado? This is my first Carenado plane for XP.

HI tried the default C172SP but still it pulls left on takeoff. I'm not a pilot, but that seems way exaggerated. Wasn't that supposed to get fixed for 10.45? Thanks

I have been doing many of the small airports around Eastern Iowa and have fairly good luck in setting up a taxi route using the ATC button in WED from airplane to runway..but I downloaded an airport that I upgraded and installed a simple taxi route from ramp start to runway and it does not work for some reason. The route goes from a grass ramp start to the runway with some bends over an asphalt taxi poly. When I add an AI plane it will start at the ramp start but then just goes the complete other way over the grass to the far end of the runway. No matter how I set the wind it goes to the far runway side ignoring the taxi route. I have the ramp start set to props …

Hi! I'm struggling to figure out how I can add photo scenery on top of the Simheaven photo scenery (http://zonephoto.x-plane.fr/Cartes.php). I also have the latest W2XP Europe scenery installed + HD mesh v3. Also, when using photo scenery, night lightning disappear almost completely. I assume the photo scenery from Simheaven is created with OrhoXP, like the scenery seen in this (amazing) video.

hi have loaded serialfp2 files into xplane under plugind using the xplane demo when i run xplane and click pluginsthe vrinsight is there, but when i try to connect to the mcp all i get is the serial fp2 box , abd bothing happens, no connections is it possible to run vrinsight panel mcp and if so how do you do it? ive checked as many forum topics but not one i can find explains how i do this. This the only thing now thats stopping me buying xplane as do not want to make my mcp combo redundant anyone hrlp please Mike

A lot of people complain abouw bad in game ATC, a lot of people use 3rd party atc to compensate for that. Why not fly on an online network like pilot edge/ ivao or vatsim? Great fun, good for the workload too I never understood the fixation of some people on the in game ATC, or a robot voice from a 3rd party addon. Same as I never understood the reluctance of a lot of "bad in game ATC complainers" to fly online, if realistic ATC is such a major concern. It cannot be shyness, because as i understand it, the 3rd party progs also require talking to? It seems like going such a long way, contending with robotic addon atc's, just to not have to go online? Most highly recommended! After all the support libraries are in place, (and are needed!), you will actually feel you are there. You also need to have all the graphic options at their max settings to see it all. Again, you feel you are actually there....there is so much to see, I suggest firstly, that you do a full taxi-rubber-neck of the entire airport and all its terminal arms. Lots to see...VERY DETAILED....and then use a G.A. aircraft for some touch and go circuits, to fully appreciate this beaut from the air..... This airport property is physically huge, in square miles! Run..don't walk to get this, and all the library files …

Hi I posted in the new members section the other day and i've finally received my copy of X plane 10 although I'm still waiting for my joystick to arrive. I just wanted to know how you go about changing the scenery to look more realistic than it already is, i've seen some good videos of high definition scenery and looks good but I wouldn't know where to start. Is there a tutorial on how to do this and how hard is it to do? I probably sound abit of a newbie but I thought you could upgrade all the terrain in 1 go but that is not right am I correct? I'm looking to upgrade all of it to look visually better if possible. I'm not sure if I will have a problem running it but my s…

I'm more or less XPlane newbie (10.45RC1) and somehow managed to screw up my 3D Camera View. Happened when entering a serial number for the Beech F33 Reality Expansion Pack. The mouse was in a "every move changes 3D view" mode, but cut/paste of the serial number didn't work. So I had to move outside the Xplane window to open Notepad for the serial number, leaving the Xplane window with the 3D view in an awkward position. I then entered the serial number and reloaded the plane. Now every plane comes up in a weird position, even the default planes. The predefined views in all Addons are wrong now. How can I revert to the default state ? I have a backup of the …

I recently bought X-Plane 10 with some addons. But everytime I take off I get an Nvidia error and the program crashes. Maybe someone can help me with a fix or something.
