World Traffic has a lot of Tinkering required to get it up and running and seems to be a finished product (not beta) X-Life Deluxe is still in beta? Hence the price. I picked this up yesterday even though I don't fly much outside of the US, because it looked so nice and I already had the truscenery airports I bought a while back. Plus it was inexpensive considering the coverage area. ("over 4000 square kilometres"). I'm very impressed with it. Frame rates are great and it looks good from any altitude. I still have a lot of places to explore, but so far, I like what I see. Rob

Having only just started to get into the FF 767 I am blown away at how bad the soundset is. Inside is 'ok' but outside just sounds like a 'REALLY' bad hair drier. Are there any replacement soundpacks out there of an actually PW engine?

Are there any addons that add better ground textures? The default textures look very very repetitive. Also has anyone found an addon that makes XP's water look similar to FSX's with Rex? Its far to glassy to look like the real ocean.

Hello everyone, I believe everyone has experienced their fair share of good (and equally bad) examples of customer service. Earlier today, the IXEG 737 was updated to v1.0.6, and I scanned through the list of fixes, noticing that the VNAV behaviour was altered, so that it could be used even without a T/D. First impressions, very impressed...read what they did...viewed what the did...very impressed. This ain't your grandfather's XPX.... A.I. actually works, from taxi---rotation---landing. The autogen is very life-like..and in fact, I had to scale it back from what settings I had in .45 So..first flight...again, most impressed with what the crew achieved. Wow.... Hello I am getting really bad Frames in Xplane Steam. Specs: i7-4790k @4.0Ghz AMD R9 290 X-plane is on a HDD https://thomaskal.gyazo.com/a350cf598850cd8aac9ea97a61d5e6a4 Every setting is on almost the lowest, and sitting in the VC of a Jar-Design's A320 I get 30-45fps. Is there anything I can do besides overclocking my processor to change this. I have watched videos on YouTube of people with i7-4790k's @ 4.4Ghz Does .4Ghz really make that much of a difference in FPS?

I'm one of those that never gets time to fly an entire route (other than very short), and am wondering how what the best way might be to take off and climb to cruise, then slew the a/c to a point prior to TOD at an arrival airport that may be a long way away. I tried this last weekend by going to the map and dragging the plane, however I eventually reached the edge of the scenery tile that was loaded and couldn't drag the a/c any further. So I assumed there must be a better way? Thanks for any ideas. I know that not flying the entire route is frowned upon by many, so apologies in advance for that. Thanks, Bruce

I have a bunch of add-on airports and airplanes. Some add-ons and plugins are CRM activated and I do not want to ruin my current XP. Should I wait or is it beneficial to try now? Thanks. Jose

If you dont want to wait for teh updated airports you can download them using WED, from there server. Igot Cairns YBCS and Rockhampton YBRK, watched there video on doing taxi paths. fixed tha tup fot both airports and so cool watching planes taxiying propery without driving down vehicle paths. Off to do townsville YBTL next.

I wanted to save weather today in XPx so downloaded "real" weather in the sim then saved the METAR.rwx file. I noted about 18 references to the same airport (KDEN) in the file, some with the same METAR time stamp and some with other time stamps. Does anyone know how these multiple references work in XP for reading weather? Thanks, Bruce.

Soooo... Normally I can't wait to share whenever I spot a new release that I'm interested in, but today I held off... until I could get home, load it up, and take it (them?) for a spin! :smile: I don't stay on top of upcoming releases, for the most part, which makes it all that much sweeter of a surprise when I see something that looks cool. 50b1 has crashed my installation. I get into 30 seconds of loading...and a fatal crash. Anybody else? Never mind, I should have read more, before downloading. Lots of folks are having crashes in an early load in of plug-ins...etc. Will wait for B2. :(

Hi! Im trying to add some scenery to my xplane 10. Downloaded w2xp europe. I get an error when loading in at ENCN saying that w2xp europe couldnt load properly. I added the (relevant?) part of the log. Could someone with more knowledge than me have a look and tell me what Im doing wrong? By the way I added the european library, but I think it overwrote some parts of the custom scenery that was already there, but Im not quite sure. Dear X-Plane GA developer, I believe a lot of the X-Plane GA flying public feel as I do; but I have no proof of that other than my own personal experience and from anecdotal observation. Observation 1. Similar to their tuber brethren, the GA simmer loves detail and complexity for its own sake. Please simulate *All* the switches and functionality in the cockpit. The more complete the sim is, the happier we'll be. Observation 2. Conversely, the GA simmer hates it when visual function is omitted because the detail in question is deemed to be *unnecessary* in the scheme of simulating the experience.
