Hi all, I've been busy working on a new airport to fit into Norway Pro. I released Sandane ENSD a few days ago, but I wanted to create a high detail GA airfield. I'm currently developing Hamar Airport, Stafsberg. ENHA is a general aviation airport located at Stafsberg in Hamar, Norway, approximately 30NM north of Oslo. It features a 944-by-23-meter (3,097 by 75 ft) runway aligned 15–33. The airport is located in an area with very stable climate and good flying conditions and is a popular GA location, regularly used for events, helicopter training and general aviation. Greetings X-Plane community; I was a long time FSX user and been on P3D for the past couple of years running now the most current version of it. I've invested a whole lot of money on add ons (Sceneries and pretty much all of their top third-party aircrafts), weather tools, and eye-candy tweaks. Yet I've still was never able to be completely satisfied with this really old platform (We all know P3D is basically still FSX). Fixed for RC 2 : Updated translations for new DRM dialogs, and added TRAN() to region alerts (XPD-6209). Removed long function ptr type in event hook, which wasn’t safe for passing string ptrs to the XPLM in scenery hook. Fixed C-130 taxi and takeoff. Now we don’t clear avio bus bits in plane load. This should fix weird power draws on planes that incorrectly have the avio bus src unchecked but do have a load and have some kind of avio usage on the panel (XPD-6502). What do I do about a missing resource file or an error in my log file: Failed to find resource 'terrain/g2xpl_17_24144_79568_4096.ter', referenced from scenery package 'Custom Scenery/z_g2xpl/'. The terrain file 'terrain/g2xpl_17_24144_79568_4096.ter' could not be located. I removed the default scenery and readded it. I removed the DDS file and the error appeared. But strange that it doesn't appear until I try to take off from airport where the problem tile is. I donated and so I have the latest version 6.90.

Hey all, I'm not saying immortalise me forever on the AVSIM X-Plane forums, but I think it could be a good idea for a moderator or something to make a post regarding AI traffic in XP10. I know that many of you probably know this, but it's not immediately evident however it is one of the most critical aspects for many people in providing an immersive sim. I came across the XPFW packs and it has absolutely changed my sim. I've set traffic to 12 and it has less of an impact to fps than my initial 2 aircraft (default XP10 747). In the old times of X-Plane 9, there existed a nice ATC plugin whose goal was to deliver a VATSIM-like experience to offline flyers. Finally this plugin has been made available for X-Plane 10 and 64-Bit. Well folks im still trying to populate x plane, and im still alone out there, thought X plane would be more advanced then that. x plane traffic programs are terrible compared to FSX. !. I'm a newby to flight simulation in general. I've procured a new pc with Windows 10 OS. I'm having several issues with XP10, as follows: I cannot save a new logbook and X-plane has not created the "X-Plane Pilot.txt" file the instructions mention. Secondly, I've downloaded some custom scenery for a few local airports but there does not seem to be any additional scenery generated. Finally, I have not been able to file a flight plan when attempting to use ATC. I've read elsewhere (don't recall if it was on AVSIM or not) that there are some rumored issues with Windows 10 compatibility. Can anyone confirm or debunk that rumor, and does anyone have suggestions …

I have Windows 7 and recently purchased a GTX 1080 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814487252). My "system specs" and Intel "Extreme Tuning utility" only show 4 GB memory for this GPU, when it should have 8GB. Is there a limit as to what Windows 7 can read or do i have a bad card?

Hello!) fellow community! Its time for me to get myself another simulator, and what I initially thought was getting p3d. It seemed like the proper choice to make.... but after seeing how good the x-plane iS, I am kinda puzzled as to which simulator to buy. I mainly use GA aircraft and would appreciate the actual aircraft modeling + nicer graphics above everything else. Well; can you guys give me some input as to why x-plane is better than p3d, and just compare the strengths of those two. cheers

Is this a known issue with X-Plane or some problem with my setup? Distant water reflections are offset and don't look right. The closer one gets, the more correct they look. The issue is most apparent over large bodies of water. I've tried different water settings but it only seems to affect the quality of the (incorrect) reflections.

I noticed that Carenado just updated all their G1000 aircraft (5 in all) to v 3.2. not sure if its been updated on all vendors yet. Its supposed to fix some performance issues as well as other bugs, but I haven't been able to update mine yet, I'm stuck at work. Just thought Id pass this along. Hi everyone, I'm beginning my flight training soon(ish) in a C150, and of course plan to use X-Plane to enhance training a little. :smile: Now, there are two payware C152's available, one from Carenado and one from X-Aviation. Both look pretty solid, but they're older products, and in the case of the X-Avation one I'm not even sure if it works in XP10. If someone happens to have one or both of these, is it worth buying? There's a nice freeware version available too, which is what I'm using now, so the question is wether either of the payware versions are worth $25/$20 respectively by today's standards. Hi guys, I was running through some GPS tutorials which follows the realityXP GPS from FSX and it seems to have quite a bit of functionality available that isn't in the default X-Plane one. Is there someone I can purchase a superior GPS? Thanks
