Hi, I've been using the Saitek yoke for over four years, and lately I've come across the rubber band modification seen here: http://www.sehlah.com/yoke.pdf.%C2'> Before I open up my yoke and replace stock items, I have a few questions to ask to the people who have done this. When the rubber bands are fitted, does the yoke feel smooth and heavy- somewhat like a plastic 737 yoke? Do the rubber bands ever snap? And, if you pull the yoke as far back as it will go and release it, does it spring back to the neutral position or does it move slower and smoother? Thanks very much in advance.

Was trying to set up the latest PMDG 777 with the X52 when I got a BSOD. Rebooted, and as soon as I relaunched the Profiler, it blue-screened again. So I uminstalled the Saitek drivers and Profile Editor, and re-installed (what seems to be newer drivers). No more blue screens, but now FSX doesn't seem to see the buttons and hats. I can see them to calibrate - each button lights up when pressed, but Ez-Dok isn't seeing anything when I try to re-set the views. I finally got the axis parts to work (rudder pedals, yoke and throttle, but nothing else is being seen by the system. Any ideas out there? I might be able to go the FSUIPC route, but it won't help EZ-Dok...if i…

Hi Everyone, I recently purchased a Logitech G13 keypad (http://gaming.logitech.com/en-hk/product/g13-advanced-gameboard) which has a small yolk where a typical thumb placement would be while using it. Since Logitech does not offer any profiles for FSX from what I'm aware of, is there a chance that I can use this yolk for free-looking in a 3D cockpit? I have managed to utilize this yolk in the 'control axis' setting under view left & right and also for tilt axis. Other than that, I cannot figure out how to use it for free movement viewing in the cockpit. As with most normal Yolk (such as my Saitek X52), I can free view in the cockpit with a similar nub …

Has anyone found a good use for the aluminium throttle handle wheel on the X-55 within FSX? When I first bought the X-55 I thought this would be great for Elevator Trim but it seems to be a 'switched device' as opposed to an axis which would have been much better.

Since I melted one of my CyborgX orange potentiometers, I've been searching everywhere for a spare pot (and in the process, I purchased an X-52). Anyway, I saw in some Chinese web stores (AliExpress, DX, etc...) this Xbox joystick module: If you see the green potentiometer, it looks similar to the orange ones Saitek uses for some of their joysticks (the least abused ones). Has anybody tried replacing the Saitek pots with these ones?

About a month ago I purchased the saitek pro flight yoke. Returned it right away becuase I didn't like the deadzone in the middle of the yoke. Now I am looking at the fsuipc and it looks like you can somehow remove the deadzone all together. Is this pretty easy to do? I have been looking at some videos and it seems quite confusing to understand. Thanks guys

So I just recently re-installed FSX on my new computer that has Windows 8.1 64-bit. I used to play FSX all the time on my old computer that had Windows 7, but I just recently got back into it. I have a Saitek Pro Flight Yoke and rudder pedals, as well as a CH throttle quadrant. All of which are a few years old, but still work for the most part, except for one major issue that really bugs me. So I was flying today from KIAH in Houston up to CYYZ in Toronto, and I tab out my game a lot once I'm cruising so I can browse websites, listen to music etc. However, sometimes when I come back into the game, FSX seems to completely forget all of my controllers, so the only thin…

I'm trying to figure out whether this is normal or not, but the throttle that came with my yoke has rubber grommets and the extra quadrant I bought does not have the same grommets (see pictures). This makes them not line up correctly with each other. Very disappointed in Saitek, which seems to be an increasing trend the more I deal with their products. Is the lack of grommets normal? I have a Saitek X 52 Joystick that makes a rubbing noise when it moves. If I squirt a little WD 40 at the base, would it harm the connection ?

In my quest for the ultimate keyboard I've done a lot of research and wound up ordering from WASD Keyboards (wasdkeyboards.com). I received my keyboard today and I have to say it's absolutely wonderful. I ordered the Cherry MX Blue switches, with the 40A rubber O-ring switch dampeners. I also ordered the wrist rest (the only thing I'm not 100% pleased with, but I'll get used to it).The Cherry Blue switches are just amazing; "butter" is the first word that came to mind. They are "clicky," but the O-rings take out a lot of the noise from the keys bottoming out. For me it's the perfect mechanical keyboard sound without it being overboard. (You can also get Cherry Brown switc…

I have two Saitek radio panels. Installed SPAD drivers. When SPAD initializes, both of the radios light up (one at a time), so I know there's at least some minimal functionality. In FSX, only one radio responds to either changes within the games (frequencies updated in the radio panel based on commands sent either from the other radio panel or by virtue of mouse clicks within the virtual cockpit. Changing switch positions on the inop radio does nothing. Frequencies are shown, but aren't changeable. Thoughts? Thanks. Scott

Hello all, I am building a home cockpit (in the designing stages) but I am having trouble finding dimensions for Saitek products. I know there templates are available for a couple Saitek instruments but I need outside dimensions for the following as I haven't purchased them yet: Saitek pro flight throttle quadrant (height from bottom to tallest part of housing, width, depth of the housing only and depth with clamp section too) Saitek yoke (depth of the housing not including the yoke and shaft itself, height of the housing without clamp, height of housing with clamp, width of the housing) Outside dimensions of radio, multi panel, bip, switch panel (are they…

I remember somewhere in a forum about fixing an issue that occurs with CH Pro Pedals. I just purchased a new PC uploaded all softwares, add-ons, and everything is working fine except for the CH Pro Pedals. I've calbrated them using CH manager. This is the issue, after starting engines and releasing brakes I just need about 25% power for the airbus A320 to continue moving, however, as soon as I brake or moving the rudder the aircraft stops and I have to push power to about 38-40% to begin moving again. Never had this problem before. Thank You SImForLife

I started to have problems yesterday when the driver started to fail while using FSX with REX, FTX, PMDG, and UTX. I thought it was an incompatibility issue between UTX and FTX after I got the blue screen of death a couple of hours later after I restarted FSX (it also failed the first time) so I uninstalled FSX with everything it had and reinstalled it without UTX, however it also crashed along with the driver even thou it was running very smooth, everthing over 35fps stable, I was satisfied with performance, and the cpu usage was pretty low. So I noticed I didn't have the Asus tweaking software that updated the vbios, which I instantly tought was the cause, so I installe…

Hello! Im thinking of getting an X55 HOTAS and I KNOW i can set anything to reverse thrust for a 777 or 737 PMDG for FSX but if I go ALL THE WAY back on the throttle, does that act as reverse thrust or idle? Do you have the X55? What do you use as reverse? Thanks

I know how much better it became when I purchased some rudder pedals to replace my twisty stick, I'm wondering if someone can tell me how much going from a stick, in GA a/c such as Cessnas, Pipers, etc, to a yoke (thinking of Saitek) would increase the enjoyment? I realize this is subjective, of course. I would just say that my enjoyment with pedals vs. twisty stick has to be at least 95% better, I cannot imagine flying without pedals now. It's that much better! Would I, do you think, enjoy a similar jump in enjoyment with a yoke vs a stick? Or not so much?

Hi all Before I bought fsuipc I could pan around the locked spot view full 360 degree with hat switch I bought fsuipc and set up axis etc. I can only move hat switch left and right now when looking at aircraft in locked spot. Is there anyway to move around full 360 in outside locked spot view, Could it be a axis that has not been set up in fsuipc ? Thanks :)

I have recently built a two-seater cockpit (PIC and F/O) of Cessna-172 decorated with Saitek's entire range of instruments, panels and controls etc. and four monitors for front and flanks view. To give the cockpit a closer reality,I have set and configured two Saitek pro yokes as well in the cockpit for dual control of PIC and F/O as per the instructions in its manual. But it is a matter of great concern for me that only one of them function and second goes out of configuration with no response at all on the aircraft. Is there anybody to help me to make both the yokes functional as and when required to use with the words "I have the controls". I will be greatful. K…
