Hi all, My trusty CH Pro Pedals are no longer so trusty. I want to replace them but I am having a hard time deciding between the two mentioned models. Amazon has both within $10 of each other. Suggestions and opinions? Thanks,

Some questions regarding it ( http://www.saitek.com/uk/prod/trimwheel.htm ) in order to decide if to spend money on it The product description says it's for C172/C182 and 'fly using the actual trim wheel found in Cessna® 172 / 182 aircraft.'. But there are many other planes that have a trim wheel. Among these are FSX planes that I own like Robin DR 400, Beech Baron B55, Carenado C208, de Haviland Chipmunk, A2A Spitfire. Are trim wheels in these (real life) similarly to the one found in Cessna's meaning this trim wheel will give almost as good realism in these planes ? Does anyone know if it works DCS ? How long is the USB cable ?

Hi guys Is there a UK equivalent to desktopaviator usb boards (http://www.desktopaviator.com/Pages/Boards/index.html) I know they post to the UK but I would rather purchase locally (so i don't have to pay import charges and wait weeks for delivery etc) I have used a broken down xbox 360 controller and 2 pc game controllers but the wiring is a nightmare. I would like to tidy it up if possible Thanks Phil

What kind of keyboard do you use ? Is it for gaming ? What kind of keyboard would work well with FSX ?

I already have a CH Products Flight Sim Yoke and consider buying this throttle quadrant. My main question is how the levers are compared to the one I already have on the yoke ? From the pictures it seems that there are six levers that seem identical to the three levers on the Yoke. Is it so ? If not what is better with the quadrant apart from the obvious fact that there are six levers instead of three ? Is it well spent money to complement the CH Yoke with this throttle quadrant ?

I’m wondering if anyone uses one set of controllers for multiple computers, and how the assignment of a controllers between the various computers is done. In my case it’s a Mac and a PC. Thanks, Bruce.

So yes, this is my question. I recently got TrackIR and managed to find out how to use the cameras also instead of getting a soar neck from turning around in the cockpit. But I have these cameras configured as 1,2,3 etc on the keyboard. No that I got a Saitek Yoke I want to assign these to the buttons on the yoke, the EZdok doesn't seem to register these. They are registered by FSX in the control settings however. Do I need FSUIPC maybe? Cheers

Hi guys, after getting the A2A C182 I went ahead and installed my Saitek Yoke and Throtte Qudarant again (I had a problem that the QT wasn´t getting recognized when I assembles it lastly, thus it spend about a year in the box. Luckily I found the problem, now it works perfectly again.). I´m right-handed and flew the last year with my Joystick with right hand. The yoke on the other side (and the real planes) are flown left-handed. Flown it left yesterday, that was really coplicated. What do you guys do? Cheat and set the QT on the left side?

Hello All, I am encountering a very strange issue after making a few changes. I will list the changes: 1. Installed the A2A C182T (AMAZING simulation of the real plane I fly on a regular basis) 2. Installed the Saitek FIPS panel (2) Work out of the box 3. COnfigured FSUIPC for controlling, and attempted calibration of the TPM panel I have. Now the issue: At some point, the computer begins to register inputs that overrun some sort of buffer. Think back to when BSOD's were more common than they are today, and in the pre-BSOD status, any mouse input creates a stuttering mouse movement, and a bunch of system beeps. That's what happens to me! In fact, it ge…

Hi! Didn't know where to post this so I'll try here. I just purchased the Saitek Pro Flight yoke and I'm wondering if its possible, for instance on the Majestic Dash Q400, to assign the condition levers to the two rightmost quadrants (blue and red) that comes with the yoke. I'm guessing I will be needing FSUIPC in that case, but do I need the registered version then? In addition, I noticed that the throttle may be retracted just below 0 %. Is it possible to assign this to the reverse throttle then? Getting tired of using F2 to be honest. Cheers

I hope this is the correct section for this question; Is anyone using the Redbird Jay sim package? Basically a complete hardware and software package, in a plug and play setup. It uses P3D and a good looking yoke. The optional rudder pedals look pretty rugged also. Here's a link, http://www.redbirdflightsimulations.com/jay/ PT

Saw this on Amazon and grabbed it for $100. TBH, is it a $500 Go Flight MCP, nope, not by any means. Do I really like it and does it work with every plane I have tried so far as it is merely a keyboard emulator, yep

I got this few days back and I must say the experience is amazing. However I had a question regarding operating the FMC, overhead panel and pedestal on commercial jets. Do you guys switch views to operate them or do you manage to twist around in the main VC view? I find it almost impossible to use them in the main VC view.

Just thought I'd start this topic just for fun. I'm using Cherry MX Blues myself, the keyboard pictured is the wonderful Deck Francium Pro. Tenkeyless is awesome. Post pictures of your own if you like.

Same thing, I have to restart it again and again and again. I've almost given up using it and would love to use Prepar3d but none of the things I use on a regular basis are even allowed on it at present. So It's either this or nothing. Today's problem seems to be the joystick has completely quit working even though it was working perfectly yesterday. This is completely different from the joystick cutoff problem with windows 8. It simply will not start to begin with. So instead of wasting my whole afternoon to figure out why I'm just going to give up and spend my afternoon doing something. Unless anyone here has an idea as to why a perfectly functional joystick will not w…

I started up FSX today and noticed that for some reason my yoke is acting up. I have never had a problem before. I started a flight and then on autopilot the yoke turned right and was stuck right. I restarted FSX multiple times and as soon as it loaded the yoke was locked in a right turn in the simulator. I checked calibration and everything was fine so I am not sure what is going on. I was able to pull it to the left and then it went immediately back to the right. Obviously it is impossible when the yoke is turned all the way to the right yet my actually controller is in detent. Any thoughts? I use fsx default control axis with my yoke. I use FSUIPC but not for yo…

Just purchased and received VRINSIGHT'S AutoPilot Module Pro. Have struggled for 2 days trying to get it to work. I have the VRINSIGHT Radio Stack which installed perfectly and works great using either the VRSIM setup or the SerialFP2 ( both work equally well). There is no mention of anything at all in the included disk about the AutoPilot Module Pro. Nothing about setup etc and no drivers or "panel" file as there is for the other VRINSIGHTS products. I'm wondering if anyone has been able to set this module up or if there are "panel" files available somewhere for this unit? The VRINSIGHT home page and software update page does not list anything for this panel. I su…

Hi all, I would like to extend my setup with panels so that I can control the most important things without using the mouse. I mostly fly the Aerosoft Airbus 318/319, the Majestic Q400, the Carenado PC12 and the A2A Cherokee. Now here is the question: Should I rather buy a set of Saitek panels (Multi panel, Switch panel and Radio panel) or should I buy a VRInsight MCP combo (Airbus type). I understand that with LINDA and SPAD (for the Saitek option) I can make both options work with all the four aircraft. The MCP combo is especially nice when flying the Airbus, however, I don't know if it is worth the higher price compared to the Saitek panels. Any feedback from users…

If you have a Saitek X52 Joystick and Throttle, where on Your Drive are Your Files ? Is it in the Program (x82) ? Please tell me where yours is located. It may read Mad Catz. I have Windows 8.1. Curious to know, thanks

My Logitech 3d is starting to lose its z-axis and thus is slowly becoming unusable. I don't know too much about the joystick market so I was wondering if I could get some recommendations for some good joysticks. All I want is something whose axis won't die out on me, something that has a throttle, and a good amount of buttons (doesn't have to be a ton, just a good amount), and something that is easy on the wallet. I'd assume things are eventually going to be on sale since the holidays and Black Friday are coming up, so even more expensive recommendations are welcome in the expectation that I could get them on sale within the next few months. Thanks in advance!

Hi Guys finally got my hands on an x55 at a reasonable price and I'm looking for some advice for setting reverse thrust for my twin engine jets I am not a fan of the saitek software preferring FSUIPC I currently use the saitek throttle quadrant which works perfectly as the bottom part of the lever acts as a switch which is set for my thrust revese so I know when i hit idle and any further movement triggers the reverse So I wondered what other folks are using to trigger the reverse? I could set a couple of buttons for reverse but that not as realistic Cheers

Hi guys, I have recently purchased the Saitek Pro Flight throttle (not the yoke though) and am using one lever for the spoilers and the other two levers for engines 1 and 2. When using this configuration something that really gets on my nerves is the fact that when trying to adjust the throttles they are always at different thrust values. I know they are separate throttles, but is there a way for me to make sure that they are at the same value when they are needed together for example take off, but still keep the dual throttle setup for when I need it for example an engine failiure. Thanks.
