Hardware Controllers: Joysticks/Yokes | Throttle Quads | Rudder Pedals | Drivers etc

Hi guysI've just hooked up the Saitek Muli-Panel and Switch Panel.Most people here have said to remove the Saitek drivers and use SPAD.I've done this, but now see that SPAD appears to only support default aircraft, needing to make changes for payware addon aircraft. That's ALL I use really.I'm now more than a little confused Is there a way of using these panels straight 'out of the box' for payware aircraft?Also, I don't see how it's possible to change the use of individual switches.Any help much appreciated

Hi guys I have the saitek multi panel and I've re assign all the buttons in the panel through SPAD (which send the control event to FSUIPC) & FSUIPC (which assign the macros I created to the control events which sended by SPAD). but I dont know how I can do the that to the Mode selector switch and rotary knob ! Can anyone give the hints or the help in how I can control the mode selector switch and rotary knob please to completely control my saitek through the FSUIPC ? Thx

I am going totally mental.... Every flight I undertake with either FSX or P3D ends the same way.....I get an error message that "USB Port Hub has exceeded power limits of its port"....and it is either my USB Headset or my Saitek Yoke. I was using my Saitek Yoke as a powered Hub (it has its own power supply) and I had the Saitek Rudder pedals as well as the Saitek TQ plugged into the Yoke. I then tried plugging everything directly into the back of the PC but the problem persists. I am convinced I have a drivers problem. Hi, im having a problem in last few days. I tried with several joysticks and im sure it's not a hardware issue because same joysticks worked perfectly before. When i start my X-PLANE 10 on Windows 8, joystick works for a minute or two and then stops working. When i open yojsticks&equipment, it disapears there too. I tried to uncheck the option of power saving under Usb devices in device manager but no help... Can someone help me with fixing this issue ? Thx

Hi, I recently acquired the x-55 and it works really great, however I do have some minor problems. One of them being rather annoying. I would like to use the speedbrake slider on the x-55 throttle to.... use the speedbrake in game ... who would have thought! In the P3D Axis settings menu I try to slide the Speed Brake Slider (SBL), however P3D seems unable to recognize it as a valid Axis. I tried the exact same thing in FSX and there it is automatically recognized as a valid speedbrake axis. Does anyone else have the same problem, or even better a solution? Thanks in advance! Mark

I've used a Contour Shuttle Pro with FSX for some time now and it worked very well with my XP computer. I now find that I can't make it work on my new PC with FSX running under Windows 8.1. The key commands just don't seem to connect with FSX Any ideas? Thanks Dave

Is there a way that you can use the joystick separately? Ive already tried by just connecting the ps2 connector from the joystick itself and it does not work. For it to work i need to connect it to the throttle then from the throttle to the usb port. Is there any work around on this?

Hi guys, as I´m more and more into flying military jets (mostly the VRS Superbug) I get the feeling that my old trusty Saitek Cyborg X jostick (together with the ruder pedals its´s pretty nice) is just about to not fit my needs for HOTAS with the F/A-18. But I have the question whether it is possible to have the stick combo configured aircraft spefific, e.g. buttons mapped for the F/A-18 or the 737/777. Is that possible or do I have to reconfigure everything everytime I change the plane? That would be a pain in the &@($*.

Hi all, I recently experienced complete loss of all hardware controls (mouse included, keyboard excluded). It occured in fligh where I lost control of my view. All hardware are visible in FSX menu, respond to assignments but not respond in game, even mouse look is not funcioning. I´m using win7 64bit and CyborgX, Saitek Yoke, TPM, Flight Q and rudders. I am looking to purchase another piece of hardware, probably Saitek but I don't exactly know what to get. When I try to put in a flightplan, the CDU does not accept double commands. For example, I'll try to put in ICAO EHGG, the second G won't do. when i try to put in 330 ft the second 3 won't do. So everytime I need to hit the same button 'twice' the CDU does not accept the second command from the same button. i have tried to reinstall the drivers, without succes.... ?????

I've got a coworker (actually their son) wondering about controls to fly fighter jets in FSX or XP - I like my MS FFB2 stck but they don't make that anymore. What are you guys using? I'd like to keep the price below 500 bucks but I think he could use a throttle too. The kid also mentioned he wanted to learn to fly for real at some point... I'm considering recommending a yoke and throttle quad too..and maybe pedals I'm using Saitek combat pro pedals, FFB2 stick and CH throttle.... What do you guys like for stick or yoke setups?

I got my saitek yoke a couple of weeks ago and the calibration is farely annoying. When I boot my computer up the SST program never centers the yoke it always drifts to the right. I tried the saitek fix of deleting something in your registry but then I cannot open the SST program. Help needed please. here is a picture of the calibration error. It only centers when I unplug and re plug it back in after every reboot but that sounds bad.

Hi, I am having a problem setting the left and right toe breaks in Microsoft FSX for any plane I fly. I am using Saitek Combat Flight rudder pedals. I have tried various combinations in calibrate and control axis under settings but the breaks are still applied at the beginning of the flight. This is what is happening at present: 1. With no feet on pedals, I see BREAKS in red on lower left of screen. 2. With feet on pedals (toe breaks applied) I see DIFFERENTIAL BREAKS in red on lower left of screen. 3. I just purchased the Saitek Pro flight yoke and throttle, after plugin, the system works fine for about 10 minutes, then it shut-off. You cannot even find the Yoke in the FSX controller. So restarting FSX it came back but a few minutes it disappeared in the FSX controller again and became no responsive in the FSX. Could anyone help with the issue.

Hello, My previous post was about a saitek throttle quadrant with an axis that did not operate correctly. Now here is another part of the story : A few weeks ago, I sent in my saitek throttle quadrant and yoke system because the yoke did not work. I received a new one just today, and the yoke works. The throttle quadrant, on the other hand, does not! I trade in a faulty product for a new one, but I get a faulty one! The pins do not seem to look correct. I plug it into the yoke, it powers on the green light, but the computer does not detect any movement. All the buttons seem to be pressed. Any fixes, or do I have to go through another ticket with Mad Catz? T…

I have the Pro Flight Throttle Quadrant and one of the "Pins" broke off of the connector... I thought..."Simple" Fix...??? I re-wired a PS2 6 pin connector Cable as the wire colors were the same, but after trying it out, it doesn't`t seem to work properly... Does anyone one know the Wiring Diagram for this, do a couple of these wires "Go Together"...??? It does "Light" up but the throttle control and everything doesn't`t work as such etc. I tried writing to Mad Catz, but evertime (Twice) I get close to the end of the letter explaining what is wrong, it seems I Lose the connection to their site...and I get an error message saying internet explorer has stopped working..…

Hello pilots, With the starting of my Junior year, I was thinking about changing my old Logitech Extreme Pro controller and getting a new one. First, I want to just clarify that, I generally fly NGX and sometimes A321. Hello. I have a Saitek throttle quadrant that I purchased separately from the yoke. I fly for a VA and use an ACARS systems that detects things like flap movements - and one of the axis on the tq is for flaps. Hey guys, So I own FSUIPC and have recently purchased saitak's Cessna pro set and I am loving the latter. My issue is that i want my two levers to act as throttle levers for the PMDG 777 AND 737ngx and the last level will act as flaps lever and also the bottom switches to act as fuel cutoff switches on the said addons. I am having a problem with my CH Flightstick USB joystick. Windows 7 seems to be detecting it, but I can't get the CH Control Manager to "see" it. When I try to calibrate the joystick, nothing happens. I have a spare joystick (the same type), but the same problem is evident. It isn't the USB ports, because other USB devices work fine. Does anyone know what the problem could be? EDIT: Well, it seems that it was the CH Control Manager itself that was causing the problem. When I uninstalled it, the joystick started working. Go figure :huh:

Hello everyone. I was hoping a kind person could help me with a problem. I have the Thrustmaster T-Flight HOTAS X and I would like to use the slider axis on the throttle for graduated application of left and right brakes in FSX, as shown: I tried using the Controls Settings in FSX to achieve this, but it will only let me map the axis to either left or right brakes and not both. I have FSUIPC, which I assume offers some way to split the axis between both. Is it possible? If so, any directions you can offer would be much appreciated. Thanks! :smile:

Hi, Whenever I'm not flying and I'm playing certain games, the game will recognize the pedals as a controller. Some games that I have don't have an option to turn off controllers, so I'm stuck with leaving it on. For most of my games, this isn't a problem. But for certain games like Sleeping Dogs, the game recognizes the pedals as a controller, and for some reason, the way the pedals are set makes the game think that I'm trying to control everything with the pedals. The game thinks I'm depressing the pedals, when in fact they're just standing on the default position. To stop the game from thinking this, I have to depress the pedals (Both of them) half-way, and the…
