Pollypot software just released the beta software to use your shiny new 777 with your Goflight hardware. I'm using the EFIS and MCP Pro, and its working good. Go give it a try. http://www.pollypot-software.org.uk/support/forum.html#/discussion/127/git-pmdg-777x-beta-bug-reporting-thread

Given the relative lack of choice in the budget price range of throttle quadrants I am consider splashing out on Goflight's GF-TQ6. Given the cost of same I would appreciate confirmation that it supports FSUIPC and any other user comments/feedback ... look forward to your thoughts ... Alan

Hi this is my current set-up: I would like to have instruments in front of me above the yoke so that I can go all clean and 'out of the window' on the monitors, but don't know where to go next. Any advice? I have a GTX760 with 3 monitors attached, and running Nvidia's Surround widescreen to save on framerates. I have an iPad currently running a moving map (RemoteFlight Map) which I use as my GPS. Saitek has its instruments for $770, are there any others? Could I somehow run a fourth screen that just displays instruments? I have a spare dual core PC downstairs, as well as a dual core laptop, but I'd have to buy another monitor.. All help appreciated!!…

Hello all, I'm still using a Logitech Extreme 3D Pro joystick for flightsim. It has given me good service over the years but I now have a problem with it: The z axis which controls the vertical stabilizer and the front wheel on the ground has become loose. Whenever I touch the joystick, I indeliberately cause the z axis to move, which leads to noticeable oscillations of the vertical stabilizer in the air. I've tried calibrating the joystick but to no avail. This is apparently a common issue with the Extreme 3D Pro. I'm not really looking for a mechanical solution, but thought about adding a null zone, so that only stronger inputs are actually recognized. Does someone …

Last night I noticed that my throttle will not open via the Saitek Pro Flight Yoke Throttle Quad to more than about 75%. It used to be fine and the keyboard works OK. I did the FSX calibrate and reset the control axises. What settings could I have messed up to cause this?

HI,SPAD drivers are free drivers for the Saitek panels (switch, radio, MCP). They are available here: http://fstools.weebly.com/They work great and are a very useful replacement for the Saitek drivers which are useless. One of the major issues being the inability to fine tune the knobs. I've always been surprised by Saitek shortcomings regarding their software which make their nice panels nearly useless. Now they even recommend the SPAD drivers. A good move which made me buy their otherwise great stuff.I have one issue though. When I have the radio panel only, it works fine. the same with the MCP only. But when I have both, the panels seem to freeze. Actually they don't b…

I'd like to use the Mode feature with my Saitek throttle to have a prop mode, and a jet mode, where the jet mode uses the blue prop lever (which it doesn't need) as a spoiler lever. Can this be done? I can se how to set up new Modes and change button assignments, but not how to change the axis assignment (this is using Saitek's programming software).

Hi all, I am new here (first post!), but I am looking at converting my Thrustmaster HOTAS X joystick into a floor mounted stick. I have opened it up and there are lots of wires for the buttons. I would like to retain the function of the buttons or at least some of them, so would need to snip them and extend them. My question is what wire do I need? I have emailed Thrustmaster but they were not able to give me any info. The wires are very thin, I am able to solder so I presume I should be OK, I am just uncertain what type of wire I need. Thanks a lot. Dan

It looks like My Saitek X 52 Throttle and Joystick just bit the dust. The lights on the joystick flash at a regular five second interval and my planes have no controls. So unless someone can come up with an answer how to fix it, does anyone have a recommendation of a good throttle and joystick ? My controllers are several years old. Thanks

I'm interested in buying this product, however i do not fly from a desktop wooden table. I have made my owm setup as you can make out from my display picture, i'm looking to find out can this yoke be attached other than bolting it on a wooden table? Like has it got screw holes under the yoke like the saitek yoke has? I'm looking to attach this onto the saitek wheel stand pro. So has anyone got this yoke and does it have those attachments below it? Thanks.

My Nostromo N52 is quite old now and the button which switches between key profiles (red, green, blue, grey) is acting up so I thought I'd get another similar device in case the N52 dies totally one day soon. (I would ideally like another N52, as I am very used to using it, but the used ones that occasionally come up on eBay UK go for more than I think I want to pay, so....). Anyone use the Razer Tartarus for FS9/FSX? I have looked at a Youtube video and read the pdf manual - seems pretty neat. I notice that Amazon.co.uk have put the price up from £45 yesterday to £62 today however, so I am less inclined to get one than I was 24 hours ago, but maybe I can find one che…

It started as a single issue, with one button, my second trigger button not working properly, now the joystick will not work at all when either fsx or prepar3d is running. Nothing I have tried works, I use windows 8.

I have had both of these for several years and they have been working well. Problems started first with Peddles. The rudder wouldn't center and the foot breaks working the ailerons and elevator. Changed the Peddles to different USB ports with no luck. Installed latest drivers for Yoke, Peddles and Flight Quadrant. Got the Peddles foot brakes working but the Rudder still wouldn't center. Now my Yoke elevator and ailerons are too sensitive. I can't adjust them to correct it no matter what sensitivity and null changes I make. Can someone first tell me how to remove the Saitek drivers. They are not listed in the Program and Features listing. There is no SST program lis…

My saitek trim wheel seemed very twitchy when I just got it and when asking about it I was told I had to practice to get used to it. But after more then a year of practice, the operation hasnt become any easier. When I roll it, say up, with just small adjustments of 0.5-1cm(1/4-1/2inch) at a time, I dont see any response at all. Doing that again, still no response. Again, but again no response, again and I see the nose of my aircraft rise and up to 500-800ft/min. And rolling down gives the same effect: no response, no response and all for sudden a 500-800ft/min drop. I already worked through the whole range of calibration, which makes the extend of the rise/drop bigg…

Hi Guys, I felt I should pass on my experience with a Thrustmaster HOTAS Warthog, in case any of you were considering purchasing it. This may be the most expensive joystick/throttle combination on the market, retailing for over $500 from many suppliers; in fact, I paid almost $600, including tax and shipping costs (it is all metal construction and VERY heavy). Thing is, the joystick lasted a little over 3 years and now none of the buttons work. The warranty is only 2 years and neither the manufacturer nor the retailer want to know me, not even if the repair is at my cost. Obviously there is a chance that I was simply unlucky and that others experience wil…

Hi to all guys, is out there a joystick with right hand side throttle? X52 or others all have left hand side throtle, I think you can't invert the throttle on the right hand side correct? Suppose you fly an airbus, the joy is on the left hand (captain) and you manage throttle with right, in the same way for Boeing, the only difference is that you haven't joy but in everyway you contro the aircarft with left hand and throttle with right. Any ideas?

Hi everyone, I am using a Tritton AX180 headset for both sound and voice and I'm having a few issues. Originally, I used Logitech speakers for the aircraft sound and just the headset for mic but now I no longer have speakers I am trying to use it for everything. My issue though is that while in the aircraft I can't hear any noise except the engines. For example on approach, I no longer hear "50, 40, 30, 20, 10" or the noise of he fmc buttons, or dials. Does anybody have any clue to this? And while on the topic of sound, the only reason I am having to use my headset for both sim sound and mic is because for some reason, my Asus monitor refuses to play any sound at all. I d…

So I was on Amazon for something else and up popped one of their "suggestions" (love how they do that)Well in this case it was the Logitech G13 and holy cr*p I am in love!!!! I have taken ALL of my keyboard commands and put them onto this single keypad! I have one set for all of my ground commands and a second set for all my flight commands. So Ctrl+SHFT+W for AES is now a single button... I have a spare 3rd and 4th slot I am going to use for specific aircraft key commands. It even has a little joystick built in so I don't need the keyboard to "walk" about the cockpit or around the plane for my pre-flight anymore. Couple that with an LCD display that has a countdown…

Is it Worth changing from the saitek drivers to Spad . I don't have the registered version of FSUIPC. I have the switch/multi/radio and fip. Get occasional crashes but overall they work fine with most of my planes , do use track Ir so where the panels don't always work the vc is fine for me Understand Spad solves a minor problem with the a2a Cessna (my next buy) but wondered if its worth of changing to this driver just for this. Or will it turn into a saga of fix one problem create another Suppose what I am asking is Spad easy to use and worth changing to ? Thanks for any opinions Steve

Hi all- I currently run FSX and P3D, and have the following hardware connected: 1) Saitek Yoke and throttle quadrant (the combined model - throttle links thru yoke) 2) Saitek Pedals 3) CH Flightstick Pro 4) Saitek Radio Panel 5) Saitek AV8R joystick I currently run SPAD to get the radio panel's rotary knobs to hit every frequency (Saitek messed up and the knobs with their drivers skip frequencies..) So... I've typically been able to set this up OK, disabling an axis here and there. I like to use the AV8R switches for various things, as well as the switches on the throttle. Anyway, I've been looking into building some of my own switches with parts f…
