Hi there! I´m planning on buying a VRInsight Tac&Toggle Switch Panel for use in FSX and DCS World (A10c & Blackshark), and i´m wondering if its possible to use it in multiple layers? So lets say you program all the buttons and switches, and leave one button for switching layers, and then you change to the second or even third layer of buttons...that would be awesome and i do this with my G940 and even with my abused Traktor Kontrol X1 Midi Controller as well and it works great (if you remind which functions are on which layer ^^) So, is this possible in the VRinsight Software, or maybe by a 3rd party software product like FSUIPC or something? Hi, I'm looking to purchase Track IR for my FSX system (I fly the a2a C172). I use one large 32" monitor that is 1080p but I run it at 1768x992. Is it possible to use track ir on this one monitor, and would it work well? Hi, I plan on building a rig in a few. My goal is the following : Current gen games at max settings and 30/60 fps always, no matter what. That is what my PC was capable of 3 years ago under the Xbox 360 standard. So in video gaming, I have the Idea, but FSX is quite special and really demanding. I dont want to switch to P3D because most of my Captain Sim addons are for FSX and I would have to re-buy everything for P3D. I have never been able to enjoy the ton of money I spent on FSX aircrafts mostly because I get between 7 and 15 fps at SFO or ORD depending on the settings. Are the drivers out there somewhere to allow this hardware to work with the PMDG 737 NGX? Discussion in various forums are dated and unclear.

Calibration on W7x64 works fine. In FSX the throttle sticks (all or nothing). Does anyone know how I can remedy this please? I already tried removing the 'XML' config but that's not working............................

Since I'm having my Saitek x52pro installed again, I'm having problems with Windows7. the keyboard doesnt responds when the x52 is plugged in and when I want to shut Windows down, I get the 'logging off' screen, which stops responding for a while and when it finaly goes to the 'shut down' screen, it gets stuck there. The blue circle keeps moving, but no matter how long I wait, the computer doesnt shut down. After unplugging the x52, everything works normal again. Does anyone know whats going on and how I can fix this?

I can fly any aircraft in My Hanger, whether it's a PMDG 737, Dash 8 , Twin Otter, as long as I don't add FSInn, Plan G , Fiber Accelerator , etc. , Everything is fine. Before I take off if I add FSInn or anything else , no controls from My Saitek X52 Joystick. The buttons do continue to work though. Nothing on My Saitek X 52 throttle will work however. I usually don't have any problems with the smaller planes, payware or freeware. I have already took care of the hibernation thing for the drivers.

Are the elevator/ailerons axises suppose to go on the right or left stick on a gamepad?

Hello everyone, after flying my 737 for a full year and hundreds of hours, I would like to give the Airbus a try, also considering my VA has a lot of interesting routes flown by Airbus. I currently am using a Saitek yoke, and was wondering whether anyone here is flying Airbus aircraft with a yoke, which I know it would not be realistic,but maybe feasible, or if a different joystick is suggested or necessary to properly fly an Airbus, in which case what models you suggest. I am brand new to Airbus, but I am willing to give it a try, for a change, just to learn it and try new things. Hi guys I currently own the Saitek pro cessna yoke and throttle quadrant which I'm happy with.I'm now thinking about getting the X55 rhino which also comes with a throttle quadrant I want to continue using the cessna quadrant in certain situations that the x55 yoke can't really do ie a 3rd lever to accomodate either prop pitch or fuel that I can use for aircraft that use it. So is it possible to have both of these linked up at the same time or am I going to have to disconnect one or the other depending on the aircraft I plan to fly? Thanks

Hi all, I have a cooling issue with my case and have decided to get a new case and move my existing mobo, graphics card etc etc to it. I have a yoke, joystick rudder pedals all connected via USB. The question is, when I move the case, do I need to ensure that the devices are connected to the same USB ports or can they be changes ? I have configured buttons and axis via FSUIPC and don't want to lose any of those assignments. The question is more like, if when reconnecting the devices again, once I move my mobo to the new case, do I need to maintain the devices on the same USB port or will my assignments get messed up if I plug them into different USB po…

I have a Saitek X52 Joystick that Blinks and has no control every time I re-boot the computer. I go to the Saitek Site and download the drivers to fix it. This is something new, how do I fix it ?

I downloaded the "new" drivers and noticed they are exactly the same as my other drivers dated June 2014. So I ran a binary compare just to confirm they are indeed identical. The installer version info is v4.0.100.1190. - the SaiPanels.exe is v1.0.0.1 - nothing has changed? The installer doesn't recognize P3D V2.x. I still have to do the manual work around which involved editing my EXE.XML ... not a big deal, but as you can see from the link above these drive…

Hello I'm thinking of getting a couple of the Saitek Throttle Quadrants (the usb ones, not the one that connects to the yoke) but I can't find any information anywhere about the additional knobs that are supposed to come with it. Could someone who owns one or more of these usb versions tell me what extra lever knobs come with it please? I am thinking of getting two of them just for the mixture control on the A2A B17 (I have enough levers already for the throttles etc...) so I need 4 lever knobs all the same. I'm trying to get my Logitech USB headset/microphone fully up and running on my new computer. I had been using it purely as a USB microphone for FS2Crew for a long time on my old computer (no playback, using main speakers). However, I've worked on getting back up on VATSIM and really want the controller to come through the headset to improve my ability to understand them clearly. So... The Logitech set shows up under both playback and recording devices. It is the default recording device and works just fine for FS2Crew and transmitting on VATSIM. It shows up as a device in playback, but I do not hear anything. I see the Windows "levels" showing green "sound" …

Where are all of the GTX980 cards? I decided weeks ago that I had to have one, but there seems to be extremely limited availability. Ok. Pedals work fine. The right foot brake has stopped working. I have isolated the issue to the potentiometer as I have taken a working one off my buddies set and it fixed my issue. Contacted madkatz/saitek and they said they do not have spare parts available. So if I cannot track down the h100 100k potentiometer my only option is to replace the entire unit. Does anyone have a place I can purchase one or do any of you have a discarded set laying around that I could buy this part off of? Stinks to throw down 150 bucks for a single part. I use a 42 inch HDTV as my monitor. I just received TrackIR 5. What would be the best way to mount the receiver. If I place it on top of of my TV it is way above my head and cannot receive head movement input. Any ideas would be most helpful. Rob martn

Of course there are several free programs for headtracking, using different principles, from IR-pointers and clips, to face-recognition and it would be a lot of work to test and describe everything. For my own system I build an IR-pointer and tested this with a couple fo programs and I think I found a decent working setup and for the ones interested, I'll give a step-by-step description on how I did it. I work with P3Dv2.3 myself and for this sim I encountered a couple of issues I will explain how to overcome, but this setup can also be used for FSX with Acceleration. Hello, I have a quite specific question for setting the best possible connection between Saitek Switch Panel and A2A Piper Cherokee180. I have both SPAD and FSUIPC4 registered version. My understanding is that I can use SDAP to generate and send "virtual commands" directly to FSUIPC, which will then communicate directly with FSX and the aircraft (assuming I de-activate FSX default controls management). Does this mean I don't really need to use A2A's Input Configurator? Is this sequence of correct? Saitek --> SPAD --> FSUIPC --> FSX (and A2A aicrafts) Many thanks!

Hi, I am trying to configure a button on the CH eclipse yoke as a PTT in vPilot. But whenever I go into the assignment it shows a button24 as assigned. If I clear it immediately takes on button24 again, which s not the button I want to assign. Any help is appreciated. I can detect the button in fsuipc, but not within vPilot. I can also set the assignment via fsinn. Found this strange, so if anyone can advise how to resolve.... Thanks Hari

Hey guys, I have a registered FSUIPC and I was wondering if it was possible to assign a button on Saitek throttle to a particular engine Idle REV application. One per engine perhaps? I have Idle .lua's setup but an idle rev option would be great. Angelo

Im a newbie to this forum, but already feel that this is a good place to visit regularly. I have picked up a lot just browsing so far, and now to my weird problem. I recently bought a new pc. Z87 mobo, i7 4770 @4.4ghz, 16gb ram, 500gbssd, 250gb ssd and a couple of 1tb spinners. Gtx770 2gb. Win 7 64bit. When I first had this, everything worked fine. Im using 5 22" monitors, 3 on th2go. Then I started getting bsod. I checked these with event viewer and was reliably informed there was a hardware error (0124). Ok I've got a couple of things going on all at once. I am hoping they are related. First, my controls seem to automatically jump to "mouse yoke" in the settings, not from me clicking on the mouse yoke thing by accident when you right click on the screen. I do that, but this is different. My joystick disappears, and it goes straight to mouse yoke or look as the only two options for my controls. As soon as I solve one issue with FSX another crops up. Did I ever actually fly with this game or do I just have false memories of doing so??
