Hey everyone! I was wondering if anyone else with the X-55 HOTAS system had this problem. I set my flaps to SW1-2, and landing gear on SW5-6. But randomly, in FS the gear and flaps will come down/up in flight, or on the ground at random as if someone hit the switches without any user input. I calibrate through FSUIPC, and I notice when I want to assign commands to buttons/switches, it seems as if switches and buttons are randomly being pushed on their own erratically and I don't have time to assign a command because another switch toggles randomly. Does anyone have a remedy to this issue? Thank you so much!

Yoke Pedals Switch Panel Radio Panel & Multi Panel All is good except for the Multi Panel which I can not get to work. Most of the time, windows says it does not recognise the USB device. I can use the test program and it seems to work but in game, sometimes the pitch wheel and flaps will work only and other times not. Randomly when I replug it in it seems to be all ok but that does not last long. Any thoughts appreciated. Paul...

Hello, I've noticed an issue with my Saitek Pro Flight Yoke that keeps occuring every flight. When I push the thrust lever forward there's this one position at which the aircraft suddenly deploys full thrust. Thing is, the lever is nowhere near full thrust but rather close to idle. Pushing the lever further forward past this particular position results in the engines spooling up according to the position of the lever like it's supposed to be. This pretty much ruins every approach unless I land with autothrottle engaged. Any advice?

I keep having problems with controllers and keyboard not connecting at startup of the computer. Which that are is random, one time it's my rudder and everything else works fine, the next time it can be my keyboard or VRI T&T and everything else works fine, and another time it can be the hubs that connect my panels... Sometimes it helps to disconnect the failing device and Windows gives the disconnect beep and the connect beep when plugging in again, but it's not always certain the device is indeed connected, even though I hear the beep telling me it is. I was playing happily with my full Saitek setup (radio, multi, switch, instrument, ect) on FSX SE. The addon's and terrain stuff MOSTLY is only supported for the boxed version however. I picked up a copy of the boxed version and now I can't get the instrument panel to work. It just does the advertisement screen. I run SPAD and the other panels work fine. Do I just go back to FSX SE or is there a work around I'm missing? I've tried completely wiping all the Saitek stuff and reinstalling because SPAD doesn't do the instrument panel.

I'm using a Saitek Cessna Yoke and Throttle (three levers for throttle, prop, mixture) in Prepar3D v2.5. I've installed the latest drivers, the free version of FSUIPC and SPAD (for my Saitek panels). I've also calibrated all my Saitek gear. I noticed that if I go to full throttle or full idle on the throttle, the lever in the plane is not at full throttle or full idle, but maybe 5-10% away from that. I can use the mous in the virtual cockpit to further move the lever to its extreme position. Same for prop and mixture. I can't stop the engine via mixture idle cutoff, as mixture never goes to idle cutoff. Doing a short field landing with 10% power left is not really…

Hello again, After a little research I realised I needed to get FSUICP so that I stopped losing Yoke and rudder focus under 8.1 I have pretty much got is setup for a novice but hove one question: What are the commands to set up the hat switch to look around the VC. I have the mouse and middle mousse button but would like the hat switch as well. I have noticed that at random points in my flight if I have an aircraft that can raise or lower landing gear it will do so. It goes to the outside view and drops the landing gear down. I have flown about 90 miles and has happened to me 3 times. Its annoying but what is more annoying is I get penalized by my VA because the gear has gone down over 250 KIAS. Anybody have a fix this? The only way to get the panel to work at all is with SPAD. I am about to unplug the panel but I spent the money so I should be able to use it and not have these issues.

New and stupid here. New to flight sims and running FSX Gold. Since Day One, I've had a recurring problem with the throttle just going nuts at some point in the flight. Typically I never get off the ground before it happens, although a couple of times it happened after landings. It abruptly moves to full thrust without me touching the keyboard. Manually returning it to idle doesn't stop it, just jumps back to full. Even shutting down the engines doesn't stop it, the thing just runs at full throttle with them off. Hi,I tried searching for the problem but none really resolve my problem.I've got a seperate knob/axis for looking around in the virtual cockpit (view/pan).However even with the sensitivity on 0 the axis is so sensitive it's very hard to look around and press a button without getting shaky cam.Is there any way to reduce the sensitivity even further (by cfg for example)? Setting sensitivity to 0 from max helped a lot, but not enough.I have FSUIPC registered but can't find any sensitivity controls.Thanks

I have P3D 2.6 and a Go Flight GF-46 (a/p, com, nav) and a GF-155A (com) with other GF buttons and switch modules as well as their throttle quadrant. When I am flying the Flight 1 C208, I cannot seem to control the com, but other buttons , switches and throttles with my other GF modules work ok. I could of sworn it was working before, but I had been on vacation and I kind of lost all memories of what worked and did not... Any hints?

I would like to hear from people who uses this stick which I consider buying. First let me state what I already got. I have CH Flightsim Yoke and their Throttle quadrant and rudder pedals. In addition to that I also have Microsoft Sidewinder stick. I consider getting the stick only (since I already have CH throttle quadrant) and wonder what advantages it could bring over what I already have ? I know that this stick has 16-bit resolution (65536 x 65536 values) and I think my yoke and sidewinder only have 8 bit resolution. First does FSX P3D2 support this high resolution ? Is it well spent money getting this stick for FSX P3D ?

Hello everyone A few days ago I bought Saitek x55 Hotas. Now I use my flying Saitek x55 (Joystick+throttle), CH Rudder Pedals and Saitek Pro Flight Throttle Quadrant. I would like to ask how to set up this gear? I fly mainly IFR (A320 and B737). Should I completely configure this set via FSUIPC (axes, buttons, switches)? Or another option would be better? Hello everyone - i purchased the HOTAS Warthog flightstick and throttle and i have an issue i can`t find a sollution to. On the mentioned throttle there is a slider to the right of the main throttle. I want to assign that to the speedbrake of the 747-400, so its movements correspond with the movement on the speedbrake lever in the 747-400. Is there a way to make this work? in the assignment settings i was not able to do this. Best regards from Gunnar

Hello everyone, Currently I have a CH Yoke and Pedals. I'm thinking of buying the one of the Saitek products - Saitek Pro Flight Yoke or x55. Mainly I fly IFR on the 737 / A320 / 777. And here is the question (money does not matter). Is a better choice would be Saitek Pro Flight Yoke or Saitek X55? The most important for me is comfort of using and high quality of product. Hi all, I was wondering if anyone might be able to offer up a bit of assistance. I use the Saitek Cessna ProFlight Yoke which works great, except that the "tophat" switch that's used to pan your view seems highly sensitive. When I'm in the cockpit, I feel I spend a lot of time trying to make tiny adjustments and if I apply just a tad too much pressure I'm veering much too far in the direction I'm trying to adjust. I haven't been able to find a setting anywhere in FSX to adjust the sensitivity of this switch. I was wondering if anyone else was running into this problem or knows of a way to reduce the sensitivity? As always, I very much appreciate the assistance.

Hi All, I'm using FSX with an Xbox 360 controller. To date, I've had two issues, one more or less resolved, and the other just came up in the last few days. The first issue (Resolved) was that if the controller turned off mid flight, it would go back to default controller settings. I somewhat sorted this out by altering the fsx controls config file with the controls I wanted and copied and pasted them 20 times. That sorted that problem out. The new issue can be seen here: I stared a flight and noticed that when I throttled up (RB) the flaps moved, which is the default setting. I recently got myself a TrackIR 5, but I notice that when using it, the housing is getting very hot. The back more than the front, at the position oft he chip, is the center of the heat spot. It's at the threshold not being able to touch the surface. I asked about this at Naturalpoint, but as this was an extra question along side another support request, it seems that handling two questions at the same time is a little too much and after several exchanges of mail, I had no response to my heat question.
