So besides having a couple more devices that I have not yet connected, I currently have hooked up to my PC a Saitek Pro FLight Yoke and rudder pedlas, plus the Throttle quadrant. I wanted to play a completely different game today, an FPS and my character started going about wildly.. I'm supposed to control this with mouse and keyboard, but the other controllers keep getting in the way! It's not the first game this has happened on, and it's not like they have an option in-game to turn it off... Is there any fix/solution for this short of disconnecting them? (And wondering if disconnecting them would cause chaos when going back to the sim...) I imag…

Thought this was a pretty informative look at what Oculus Rift can do. He does make one major mistake in saying that FlyInside for FSX and P3D does not work in Direct mode. He corrects this in an overlay at the very start of the video. gb.

When the number two is pushed and I'm ready to set the camera the scroll button will not allow me to zoom. When the mouse is moved the view doesn't move with it. Those two features have worked before. What can be done to make it right ?

Does anyone remember a company that was looking for preorders on a new style of yoke and throttles that were made of wood? Seems it was several years ago. Supposed to be modular and converted to various AC. They seemed to vanish. Maybe I missed something. Paul

Good day all. I am setting up the new system and I am wondering if there is a difference connecting controls (Saitek in my case) directedly to PC or via USB hub? Google shows that some people say connecting controls via USB hub may cause loss of functionality. Thanks for looking.

Hi, I'm just getting back into XPlane and want to use it more seriously so I'm now looking at getting a Yoke to replace my Cyborg Evo joystick (I'm not quite at the stage of feeling like I need to build a full cockpit - I'm at the stage of thinking they look awesome, but the bank account is at the stage of saying its not needed). While searching I found the thread on here and the website for Computer2Cockpit which looks like a great set-up and potentially budget friendly - they seem to have gone into radio silence on all social media and their site updates since late 2014/early 2015. Does anyone know if development is still progressing? Their site suggests that t…

  7. Hi, I want to make some switches for flightsim- and then assign them through fsuipc. I don't know what to use for electronics, so if anyone does know, please say what I need! But I thought that since I broke my saitke throttles, but my motherboard for them is still fully functional, I could use that. So I want to know if, if I soldered the switches the Saitek throttle motherboard would it work. Thanks a lot! Harry Karmel

Since a couple of days, my VRInsight T&T panel doesnt work anymore. It's listed under Printers and Devices in Windows Control Panel, it's listed in P3D's control menu, it's listed in the FSUIPC ini-file, it's listed in LINDA at the bottom of the Joystick page, but when I push a button, non of these programs give any response to the controller. I'm running P3Dv3.1 with the latest FSUIPC and latest LINDA version, under Win10. Anyone any ideas on what might be wrong and how to fix it?

The VR Insight Flight Master Yoke looks very interesting indeed. Can anyone (who has tried this yoke) share their opinion / impression? I have searched the web for a review without success thusfar.

I was wondering if there were many of us flight simmers waiting on the back ordered Saitek USB throttle quadrant. I have gone the next level to install the second throttle quadrant to my existing saitek pro yoke after purchasing the 737 throttle handle set along with the flap detent addon and speed brake handle from cockpitphd. I was informed by Mad Catz on the support side of saitek that it will start shipping on or about Dec 5. PS I would go with flightsim-pm uk 737 v2 throttle after seeing their product online, looks like better quality.

  11. Hey guys as the topic title suggests I am getting quite frustrated with what recently just started happening. I use FSX and P3D Win 10 64, and have 2 Saitek throttles routes through a powered USB hub to the PC. Without fail now each time I start FSX or P3D the axis assignments always get crossed up. My left throttle unit did Spoilers, Thrtl 1, Thrtl 2, and right unit did 3, 4, and Flaps. Without skipping a beat each time I fire up the sim they switch, spoilers is now on the right unit and reversed and it all goes to hell. One shows up as HID in device manager, and the other shows up as USB. I really don't know how to troubleshoot this because nothing in my setup has …

Hi all again, Had a few months away playing other stuff but this year is my FS year I hope Quick question on using FSUIPC please... I am using Saitek Yoke/pedals and some panels. In FSUIPC I set the left pedal toe press as left brake and the same for right pedal as right brake. What seems to be happening is that this is then like a brake release, ie. when my feet are off the pedals I get a differential brake message that goes away when I put toe pressure on the pedals. This seems to be reversed to what I would expect... Ideas please? Cheers...

  13. Hi, I have looked in other threads but none of the fixes have worked. All my power management options are off. When I minimize fsx, (e.g. to activate a pro atc x flight) the joystick will not work. Sometimes it is recognized in fsx controls, but doesn't work. But normally, it isn't recognized in fsx controls, nor does it work. I am using Windows 8.1 and the Mad Catz V.1 stick. Any ideas? Thanks Harry Karmel

My jetmax throttle stops responding and not sure why its doing this. I have tried many USB ports and my USB HUB and it still randomly stops responding. For those who own a jetmax 737 did you ever have this problem? To get it working again i need to restart my PC. Its very annoying!

My Microsoft Force Feedback 2 USB joystick has been functioning well, all these years-----have had it for more than 1/2 a dozen years--------that was until tonight. If I pull the stick back, the aircraft nose dives; if I push it forward, it climbs. A reversal of what it should be doing. I've tried to re-calibrate it, but it's still doing the same thing. I have a Registered version of FSUIPC and have deleted the .INI to see if it'd re-set. No joy. Can anyone help out? Thanks. EDIT: Disregard. I uninstalled it, and it re-calibrated it again. Now works fine. Not quite sure if this had anything to do with a sudden BSOD caused by a Windows 10 Video TDR error as…

Looking to get a new throttle quadrant ... the units I've had in the past (work well enough but missing a solid feel) are: 1. CH Quadrant 2. GoFlight TQ6 3. Saitek Quandrants Any recommendations ... needs to have: 1. Meaty handles (I have big hands) 2. Smooth fluid motion with some resistance be not too much (adjustable would be even better) - key is smooth 3. Reverse thrust trigger abilities 4. Minimum 4 handles (6 preferred) Cheers, Rob.

Hi! I have the x52 Pro and had it for a long time. Last time i used it was under a year ago and it worked fine without any problems. So when i recently purchased a new plane for P3D i wanted to use my joystick again. Now the leds on the throttle doesnt work, the screen doesnt work either. Well the screen works, but i cant push any buttons to start/stop the time etc. I tried to install the saitek driver but the setup just freeze. If i try to shut down my computer with the joystick plugged in it will freeze on the "logging off.." screen. If i start my computer with the joystick plugged in it freezes on the log-on screen and i have to unplug joystick and restart the comp…

  20. Hi all, Help needed. I'm trying to install Win7 from DVD on new system build (latest 6700K & ASUS ROG Mobo) without a CDRom drive. I have a USB 3.0 stick that I made bootable and copied over the disk files but It still fails to install. Getting a missing drivers dialog during beginning of install. I also tried by making an iso and putting that on the stick and it too failed stating no bootmgr was found. Any suggestions on how to proceed are greatly appreciated. Mike

I've been experimenting with FaceTrackNoIR v1.7.2 with Point Tracker v1.1 on a Win8.1 system. After setting up shortkeys (Home, End, etc) I find they work "in-game" as long as FaceTrackNoIR is also on the screen, but the shortkeys do not work once FaceTrackNoIR is minimized to the Taskbar. So it seems FaceTrackNoIR is losing focus when minimized as far as the shortkeys are concerned. Is this a FaceTrackNoIR problem, a Win8.1 problem, or am I doing something wrong? Thx, Al

  22. Hi guys, For the last few months, I noticed that my engine ignition starter switch on my Saitek Switch Panel was becoming more difficult to turn. Yesterday I wasn't able to turn it all anymore. I decided to open up the panel to find a solution: please find the video below for an easy fix. https://youtu.be/CENShdgTOcI Blue skies, Tim

  23. Hi all, For those of you familiar with the Saitek radio panel: http://www.saitek.com/uk/prod/radio.html just wondering if there's fix for the knob settings. Each click should equal one "point" of frequency change, but a click is two points, meaning, for example, that you jump from 111.00 to 113.00 on clicks, and 112.00 falls "between" the clicks. thanks, Andrew

I'm just starting out with SIOC and Open Cockpit I/O cards. I can test my master card thru the SIOC Monitor, test switches and led's ok. I've written script and loaded examples of it. Also loaded it into the .INI so FSX can read it. No matter what script I run, nothing happens in FSX. Am I missing a step ? FSUIPC registered is running, SOIC and FSX. Aviatorskate
