Hi everyone Sorry to bother you guys again. As you have probably guessed-I am new to the siatek yoke,i bought it few days and I am having hell of time to set it up . I am asking for help in how to set up the flap change in smooth sequential way. At the moment I have selected the right lever on the quadrant to flaps in P3dv3 setting. I I wasn't getting the proper change from 0-30 for PMDG 777. I have followed advise from here and u tube and changed sensitivity etc but no luck. I have tried using fsuipc too. I cannot find anything here that allows sequential change-just flaps like in p3dv3. Can somebody please point me to a tutorial that shows how to s…

I was planning in getting this joystick, and have done a little bit of researching to see if its fully compatible with WIndows 10. Most people say its just plug and play that it requires no drivers. But I'm not sure if those people are using this joystick for advanced flight simming programs such as FSX/P3D/DCS/X-Plane. I've heard the computer won't go to sleep or shutdown if this joystick is plugged in as well. Can someone tell me if this joystick will work in Windows 10 and is fully compatible with P3D/DSC/X-Plane?

Hi everyone can you please advise: 1 Will the Saitek extra Quadrant work independently of the saitek yoke and quadrant. 2 Does anyone have the extra saitek quadrant working in windows 10. My reason for asking is I have the CH fighterstick- I am very happy with it. I was looking to upgrade with the saitek extra quadrant. I bought both the yoke set and extra quadrant. The yoke and its quadrant work ok-after a lot of fiddling. The quadrant is not recognised by windows 10. I am thinking it could be faulty? I look forward to your advise. Thank you Qas

Hi everyone Few days ago I bought the saitek yoke set and an extra quadrant. I plugged the yoke in a usb power hub and connected the 2 quadrants to the yoke. I have installed the latest drivers from saitek web. On the 1st startup everything worked ok. The next day , The yoke's X Y axis have stopped working-all the buttons work. The extra quadrant is not recognised by windows and hence p3dv3.5. I have switched usb ports-even plugged in directly to pc port. The green light come on ,on the quadrant that comes with yoke. On the extra quadrant,it comes on for few seconds and goes out. I am running p3dv3.5 on windows 10,64bit. I was hoping to set u…

Hey guys, I am hoping someone from the community can help me out as I am quite down in the dumps about this and have been struggling for a couple of weeks to get this resolved. I have a Floor Column Yoke and rudder that are both USB and have been working great so far. They are from Precision Flight Controls and are each one USB to the computer. I have had Windows 10 since last September and am still on 10 now. My flight controls worked in 10 with a few struggles here and there to get them to stay connected but they worked. I have since changed rooms and moved my whole setup and now they refuse to connect to the PC and Windows cant load the controls. (Code 43)…

This is my first tutorial so bear with me. I recorded in 4K but realized many users maybe running at lower resolutions making it very difficult to see the text ... as such I scaled the screen making it larger and hopefully readable for 1080p or higher (but it does leave areas cropped out). I'll be doing two more parts covering more advanced topics and will release those at a later date. Hopefully there is enough here to get people started or at least pointed in the right direction. This video is primarily for GoFlight device owners. Cheers, Rob.

My current Xbox 360 wired controller has had (again) a broken wire. First time was in the controller side, now it's in the other side (where I plug it to my laptop). Now I have 2 dilemmas hehehe: 1) Is it there an easy fix for this, or should I retire this controller? 2) If I should replace it, should I replace it for a wired one or a wireless one? I'm only using this for FS. I have also an X-52, but, since I have no desk (I use my dining table), I've found I don't use it as much as I'd like to. I think 90% of my flying is on the Xbox controller...

I have a single Saitek throttle quadrant which seems to work well and I'm happy with it. However, it obviously has drawbacks when using it with twin-engined aircraft. I had considered getting a second quadrant but Saitek seems to be having problems producing/supplying them. Can anyone who has been able to compare the Saitek quadrant with the CH Products 6-lever quadrant give the pros and cons of each?

Hi, all, Just wondering if anyone out there has tried the DSD FLT1 button box with either P3D or X-Plane? I just received mine, but I'm having issues with both the rotary encoders and the on/off switches - they're both sending very intermittent button pulses; even in Windows Game Controller properties, where you can see each button press, they're very intermittent. I've tried a couple of different USB ports, both directly on the PC (no hub) and a second computer with the same results. Thanks, Phil

Hello I've had a silly issue start with me just recently out of the blue, when I use my rudder on my X52 (twist) the viewpoint in my VC pans up the way. I've tried resetting the controls within P3D and don't have ezdok installed. I've also checked FSUIPC isn't causing the issue. Any ideas?

Hi guys The cord got caught in the reclining mechanism of my chair and got severed. You can see the very fine different colored wires in there. Can this be repaired at an electrical shop? The wires though are extremely fine. I live in Thailand and I cant just go out to try and buy one and I dont think they are available anywhere as Saitek stopped producing so if I cant repair I will need to look at another solution

Hello everyone, I have the saitek pro flight cessna yoke and I'd like to buy some rudder pedals but the saitek pro flight rudder pedals seems just a little bit too expensive for me. This is maybe a stupid question but: is gonna be a problem if I buy rudder pedals from a different vendor or they have to be somewhat "compatible" with the rest of the saitek hardware I'm already using? I don't see why they should (they just control two different axes) but before buying it I figured I'd make sure :-) What cheaper but good rudder pedals are on the market? i've seen one by Thrustmaster which is around 100 euros and I'd like to stay around this price range. Thank you

Like so many others (it seems), much as the X52 suits me perfectly for FS9 and FSX, I am being driven mad by the rotations and axes suddenly deciding to go off-centre, so that taxiing aircraft becomes almost impossible as they start to veer to left or right. I am so fed up of having to minimise the sim, unplug the X52 and plug it back in again. It appears, from what I have read in various forums, that this is due to the Saitek auto-calibration software and that if I uninstall the Saitek software (that means programming and drivers I assume?), I will never be bothered by this problem again! But that's no use if I can't set the functions of the various buttons in th…

Hello all, Apart from other add-on’s/equipment, I have been using primarily: P3Dv3, PMDG 737, with one Saitek Radio panel. I just invested in a second radio panel and I’m not sure how to integrate it with the first, for which I’m using the SPAD driver (after a nightmare with Saitek’s own!). SPAD doesn't pick up the second. Can anyone pass on any tips or ideas please? Thanks!

Hey guys, I have been pulling my hair out for the last several days. I can't get my yoke and rudders to connect to the PC via USB. As soon as I connect them and they did work previously, I moved rooms and had to move the PC along with all else and this is when the problem started. They are finicky, and what I mean by that is once they do connect, you better leave em as is because it will put up a fight to connect again after that. The USB rudders and Yoke come up with windows 10 error usb sound and show "Device Descriptor Request Failed" Code 43 in device mgmt. I have tried routing them to a USB hub, another POWERED USB hub, different physical USB slots on the PC…

I have two of these, but they drive me crazy. If they worked they would be great, but the axes and rotations keep going off-centre, so aircraft basically do circles with no input from me. MadCatz actually replaced my X52 some months back (and the fact that a faulty mouse component sent my cursor walking uncontrollably across the screen every few sessions), but the new one is just the same. I am really fed up of having to pause FS, unplug the X52 (which minimises my FS to the taskbar) and plug it back in again (which clears the axes for a while)! Plus the fact that I have had to disable USB3 on my PC, because the Saitek software causes BSODs with it enabled... Problem …

I am puzzled...I unplugged my pro flight yoke from its current USB port, and replaced it with my headset (my headset had mysteriously stopped working, so I tried a new port). I eventually discovered the problem for the headset. I plugged the headset into another port. I re-plugged the yoke and got an ominous message...it indicated that the yoke had not been installed (I don't remember the exact words). I've tested it in other USB ports, but nothing works! In addition, I don't see it reflected in the Device Manager. The yoke's clock screen is totally blank, and the light on the quadrant is unlit. Interestingly, my Saitek rudder pedals work fine (it shows up in Device Manag…

Hi All, I currently have a Saitek Pro Flight Yoke. I also saw the Cessna model, which I have been told is a little better quality, as well as having the 90 degrees of rotation (not sure if that's a thing or a gimmick). A yway, so I have the chance of selling my Yoke, amd replacing it with a Cessna one, and looking for input on whether that would be a good move or not. While I read the Cessna is better, I also saw that there are relatively simple mods one can do to the Pro Flight to improve the quality or rather lower it's shortcomings, and that it seems the same mods cannot be done for the Cessna? So what would the best option be? Please note I …

I have had for a long time FSX Gold and now a new P3D 3.2. I updated EZCA, Track IR, and video drivers for the new P3D which I am liking, except for adding all my addons, 74 to be exact. Anyway, I have everything mapped in P3D as I did in FSX so the only reason I ever have to touch the keyboard is to enter in the airport code or hit the V key occasionally. But a problem cropped up recently that I have never ever seen and I've been using the Saitek Pro Flight Yoke, pedals, TPM for A2A, and two quadrants for years. It's this, sometimes, not all the time, but enough to annoy me when I bring up the profile editor I get what you see in the screenshot. The left panel in…

Just bought a elite pro panel off ebay, heres the website if you arent familiar with them. https://flyelite.com/ Anyway its a older device thats run off a serial port, got a usb to serial and everything works fine with the default aircraft but with the a2a 182 i cannot get the throttle, mixture, or prop axis's to work. Is there a way to remap serial game controllers like this? This is essentially the same product: https://flyelite.com/product/pro-panel-ii/ but mine doesn't use a usb interface.

I got my Brunner FFB Yoke and so far absolutely love it. I'm still in the tweaking phase, and would love to get some input from other users on how they are implementing trim functionality. I'm a student pilot IRL flying a Cessna 172S, so I use the A2A C172 addon in P3Dv3.3. So are most of you who have the Brunner using hardware or software trim? I like the way hardware trim "feels" when relieving yoke pressure, but obviously the in-game trim does not move because they are disconnected. Does this materially impact the flight model in your experience; i.e. since the trim in-game will always show centered, will this effect, say, my power-off stall dynamics/r…

Hello! I just want to share a solution for a problem I had from time to time. My Logitech joystick was wayyyy too sensitive, if you moved the stick a little to any direction, the aircraft moved very fast into that direction. It didn't matter what ACFT I was flying, happend in the PMDG as well as in the default FSX C172. Even with sensitivity settings turned to lowest and neutral settings turned to the highest possible, that kind of problem appeard again and again. But I was curious why it happend always when flying the C172 but only sporadically using the PMDG. In fact I had this problem everytime I didn't do a flight control check prior the flight. SOLUTION: ALWAYS do…
