I've been using Saitek Pro Flight Yoke for about 5 years now. A few years back I started to notice that when I turn the yoke to the left there is some friction inside - like a metal rod is rubbing against something. At first it was barely noticeable but over time it became very noticeable. It's still flyable but very annoying, especially when using one hand on the yoke (I do that most of the time). Is this common problem with Saitek Pro Flight Yokes and more important is there any solution?

Hey guys, I have an issue with my Saitek Yoke that is really annoying, because it's a feature what I need. When I use the hat switch to look around especially while on final approach to complete the checklist, it happens that I cannot go back to my "standard view" looking outside the cockpit. When I click to the right (90 degree position) it stays there. There is no chance to bring it back to the normal position, since just. I actually have had to turn the switch a couple of times 360 degrees and it would then release the 90 degrees position but since just it's not returnable. When I go to the Yoke Properties (Win7) it shows that the hat is permanently on the righ…

Wanted to connect my Switch Panel to a different USB port but I always get the "devise is not recognized" error. Doesn't matter if I connect directly to the PC or to a different powered USB hub. Tried re-booting. Reloaded some drivers. Nothin'. Connect back to original location, reboot... all works fine! What gives?

Hey guys I have a PFC Jetliner column Yoke and just the roll springs, not the pitch springs creak and make noise when turning the yoke Left / Right. Nothing wrong mechanically or anything, the yoke is smooth as silk but I would like to figure out what sort of product (lubricant or grease) I can put on the springs to quiet them down. Any suggestions? What has worked and is tried and true here?

I have a Saitek x52 controller, and in the past I would install the drivers and everything would work just fine. Everything did work just fine. I could access the device's control panel by right clicking on the icon in the taskbar and it would show up. There I would be able to configure things like the time on the MFD, the time zones, buttons, sensitivity, etc. However, today, I tried to access the control panel for the device and it will not open. I can right click on the icon and have the menu open, but if I click on the control panel option, it doesn't do anything more. I really need it to work so I can configure settings and get the few extra buttons that are useful,…

Hey all,I'm making this post because I bought the EZdok EZCA program and I found out that I can't completely disable the hat switch on my Saitek Aviator for some reason. As part of the EZCA setup, you need to completely remove any hat switch assignments from the FSX control options because EZCA takes over view panning from FSX. I cleared out any joystick assignments there (including, of course, the View (pan) which had been set to my hat switch). However, when I press the hat switch, the view does not pan anymore, but it still "snaps" / resets my view to looking straight ahead, in any view. Thus, I have a problem in EZCA, whenever I use the hat to pan the views around, whe…

Can anyone help me find out why the N52 gives the key responses propgrammed into the profile just fine - but only until I open FS9. I tested this by opening a cmd prompt and pressing five N52 keys..FS9 has not been started at this point. In the cmd window, this appears every time: C:\Users\Martin>^W^N^Yfk that is, five keys which send the key strokes: Ctrl+W; Ctrl+N; Ctrl+Y; F; K ... which is what I want to send and is what is programmed & shows in the N52 profile. However, as soon as I run FS9.exe, the same keys on the N52 kepad immediately send a different set of key presses, according to the command window: C:\Users\Martin>7^W^N^Y i.e. 7; Ctrl+W; Ct…

I had to test some Linux software so I disconnected my all six Go-Flight modules so they wouldn't do weird things with Linux. When I reconnected, I must of put them in different ports, so now they don't work. I reconfigured them in the GF software, but when I start up FS, they don't work. And now, when I am in the GF software, they don't light up. I really messed this up. They do at least light up when booting up. It seems there must be some GUIDs in a file that is wrong somewhere. Any hints?

Hi all, big fan of Logitech products myself, have everything from mouse to sound system. Just wondering if anyone knows whether they are developing new controllers (joysticks, flight systems, etc.)? Still have the trusty Extreme 3D Pro in use which is on sale after all. Thanks a lot.

Finally finished up my uSim Pit (waiting for SeeBee 747 throttle arms for my Saitek throttles). Only issue is that "sometimes" (not always) my older black RP-48 will continuously power cycle the LEDS whenever I run GFConfig.exe or GFDev.exe. I have 5 RP-48's ... 4 newer gray units and 1 older black unit. I've tried plugging the unit into other hubs and direct to port on PC, but results are always the same. Has anyone else had compatibility issues when mixing newer gray GF modules with the older black GF modules? I've contacted GF via eMail, but will probably give them a call Monday if I can make some time. Cheers, Rob.

I had to share this because my wife can't appreciate my enthusiasm over my new Thrustmaster (even the name didn't do anything for her! ) Warthog. Like so much in flight simming, peer pressure made me spring for the T-W, I was more than happy with my trusty CH Fighter stick. However when this lump of kit was unboxed (anyone wonder why all these 'unboxing' videos on Youtube?) it was love at first sight. Two days on I'm still in awe of it. Like the man said, 'It's so heavy you can kill someone with it' Flying with it is a revelation. At first it felt very heavy in the spring department, but after an hour or so I came to the conclusion that the CH stick …

Exactly what title says - I like to do touch and go with my PMDG 737 NGX. I set up two routes - A to B than B to A. I want to have new weather report from ASN after first flight. I click alt+tab and both of my joysticks (saitek yoke and logitech 3d which I use for rudder + saitek throttle) DISCONNECTS. But they don't disconnect from system - just from FSX. I tried reconnecting - no luck. I switched off USB sleep mode - no luck. Joystick just disappears from FSX settings and I cannot bring it back (only mouse is there). Interesting observation - when I switch to windowed mode - no problem. But when I click outside of window with FSX changing to desktop or ASN or …

Hi! The Gf-Config 2,26 software can't be downloaded on GF's support page. The link takes me to a dropbox page where it says that the file is moved or deleted. Is there anyone who can share that file with me. I'm eager to get my GF-166 radio modules up and working Best regards Anders Eriksson

I've been having trouble with Prepar3d since version 3.0. It seems that something is causing a USB crash. There has been some discussion about Saitek products as a possible cause so I've updated my Saitek drivers to the latest available but am still having the USB crash. I have been able to complete flights with the pedals unplugged which deepens my suspicion that my pedals are the culprit. My question is whether or not it is possible to use the Saitek Combat rudder pedals without installing any Saitek drivers or software. I tried uninstalling everything Saitek and install the generic USB and HID drivers but the pedals did not seem to recognized. Any Ideas? …

I have 4 Saitek panels, Radio 1, Radio 2, Multi and Switch and Radio 2 and Switch panel work fine, but Radio 1 and Multi panels dont give proper reading on the LCD screens. The Radio give a readout, but it's messed up, the LEDs flicker and dont read actual numbers and the illuminated LEDs differ from time to time and the Multi panel LCD gives backlighting, but nothing else. This started when I connected the VRInsight MPC (version 1). I dont have any drivers installed, I use it through LINDA and that seems to work fine with just connecting the MPC. Can this be a problem caused by not having the drivers installed? Or might something be messing up SPAD? I dont hav…

There have been a number of posts here over the past few months concerning the mysterious widespread unavailability of the popular Saitek Throttle Quadrants. Maybe this is explained by the problems apparently being faced by its parent company Mad Catz which just announced disappointing results. A staff reduction of 37% is forecast, and the CEO and a senior VP have already left. Hang on to your Saitek products guys! Bryn

Morning all! I upgraded my monitor to a new Samsung, which has allowed me to up my FSX resolution to 3840X2160. Since then, I have been unable to use my wheel mouse to interact with knobs on a number of addons (PMDG, Realair, A2A) in full screen. If I go to windowed mode it works fine, but if I switch back to full screen, I lose that functionality again. Wheel mouse is functional in other apps, no other config changes made. I'm using the generic PnP windows driver, as I just plugged in the monitor and away it went, not sure if that's relevant though. The few topics I've found either didn't match my circumstances or a fix wasn't identified. I'm hoping s…

Due to this annoying thing called real life, I haven't been simming much for the past 2 years. My Saitek yoke has mostly been collecting dust over that time. I just took it out of the closet yesterday, and the problem I have now is that it "creaks" and groans slightly when moving the yoke left-right (banking), especially if moving it slowly. It's not that bad, but definitely annoying. I've opened it up and applied some silicone spray grease to any moving parts I could find. This made the pitch response, which was already fine, even smoother, but for some reason I can't do anything about the creaking when banking. The problem area seems to be both of the two "rings" which…

Good day, I know Boeing and most other airliners use a yoke. But due to constraints where I flight sim, the joystick works best. Does anyone have suggestions how they set up their Rhino or similar yoke for airliner commands? Many thanks. Gary
