I have several controllers, and found that plugging some to the Saitek Yoke they may lose their led sometimes, so. Think power is the issue. I would like to buy a POWERED usb hub and/or an ac adapter for the saitek yoke. These are the devices: - Saitek Pro Flight Yoke - Saitek Throttle Quadrant ps/2 - Saitek Throttle Quadrant USB - Saitek Cessna Trim Wheel - Saitek Switch Panel - MFG Crosswind Pedals - Thrustmaster Warthog Stick + Throttle set What would be the best way to connect these? Option 1: a 7 port powrered USB 2.0 hub, connect everything to that and the hub to the PC? Option 2: Get the hub but ALSO an ac adapter for the Yoke and plug some …

  2. I would like to know if anyone has experience using the PFC USB turboprop TQ with the Real Air Turbo Duke v2 and the Majestic Q400. I am most interested in learning if you've been able to use fsuipc to program the detents built into the TQ for the beta range on these planes. Thanks, Robert

Just got my new Thrust Master rudder pedals. After installing and calibrating love every thing about them. Comfortable, and the rudder works great, but with the NGX I lose most of my turning authority below say 20mph,so much so that I can't make a 90 degree turn and stay on the taxiway. The rudder responds great during flight and there's plenty of steering authority at higher speed until I slow to taxi speed. Maybe this is just more of a realism factor compared to CH pedals. Imposable to taxi into a gate. Thoughts please, Regards, Vic Green

Hi community, Would just like to get some opinions if possible please. Up until last year, I had been happily simming with a Saitek X-52. This had been my faithful controller for around six years or so. Anyway, the beast finally died in a few of the axis. A good friend of mine purchased me a new one in January as a birthday present, but this one has decided to break. It feels like the shaft has broken within the lower box that holds the controller. It still moves, but below the metal spring there is a round plate that seems to "catch" when moving the joystick. Unfortunately, we have lost the contact details of the seller, and with Saitek / Mad Catz recently b…

I forget where it was that told me to only use my controllers on mode two while in FSX but for some reason even on that it seems that I can no longer assign my buttons on this mode? Worked completely fine for the longest time and now I cannot even assign them. Seems the only working modes is #3. Any clues?

Hi folks, Have anyone there found how to map or program the nose wheel action with this joystick, since it has no Z-axis rotation?. I've recently bought it, and don't want to expend any extra money in buying a rudder pedal. Thanks for the cooperation. Cheers, Ed

  7. Many people complain about the bothersome detent in the pitch axis of this otherwise good product. There have been a number of "improvements" that others have done to counter this issue, such as removing one of the pitch springs, replacing them with other springs, or even one person who re-engineered the product to behave like the CH yoke with side springs which provide both pitch and roll resistance. Still others have cut the bushings and changed lubricants. After trying some of these suggestions, I still was not happy with the performance of this product. So today I decided to open it up for the 101 time. I thought that there must be some simple solution to this prob…

  11. Has anyone else experienced the issue of the Saitek X-52 flight control system suddenly changing the views in the sim whether it be fsx or p3dv3 on its own with no human input? mine is. Cheers Rod.

I wanted to recreate the cockpit positioning of the stick for flying stick controlled A/C - amongst other things my favourite aircraft - the Diamond Star DA-42 - but this is a general positioning of the flight stick and good for pretty much everything else that has a single stick as supposed to a yoke. I made it from 18mm ply for the base and the top plate. The riser is a piece of PAR 2" x 2". It feels pretty much where it should be - I've taken the controls of the DA-42 in RW and the positioning of the Thrustmaster now feels pretty much where the RW controls are. Definitely assists the immersion...after all, if things aren't where they should be in the Sim th…

  13. Hey guys, Ever since I've transitioned to my new CH Eclipse Yoke, Saitek Combat Pedals, and my Saitek TQ, I've been having a hard time effectively transitioning from workstation, flight sim, and racing sim setups. I was considering the Saitek Wheel Stand Pro, since it would fit my Saitek gear, and I hope to get a Saitek Radio Panel soon to help with PE operations. I was wondering if I would be able to effectively clamp my CH yoke onto the "Saitek" mounting plate? My main concerns are the holes that are preinstalled for the Saitek yoke (which I think I can remedy by getting a X52 plate, which would remove the holes), and the thinness of the plate itself. Looking at the…

Hi guys, I did have a Saitek yoke for years, but to be a little more transportable I want to switch back to a joystick. I've been out of the loop, but what is your guys' "go-to" joystick? Thanks

Hi to all I've just bought a gaming mouse with some button on sides. Using the producer software I can assign particular action to these buttons. Then, I assigned to one the SPACEBAR button because I want to use it for mouse pan view instead of the keyboard SPACEBAR; in this way I can make all only with mouse. Normally the mouse work properly (example, if I write a text and I want to put a space between two words, I press the assigned mouse button and I have it), but inside P3D this feature doesn't work. He don't recognize that I hit a button and nothing happens. I'll tried to set it using P3D controls setting but without success (he recognize only key or joy button t…

Hey guys! I had to format my PC since my P3D was giving a lot of issues. I decided to reinstall everything but there is a software I am not being able to find. It's a software for the Saitek panels, freeware that has a tray icon of an aircraft. I have been trying to remember the name but still nothing. Any of you know of this application for the saitek panels? Thanks much in advance. Teo

Hi everyone, I'm having an issue with my joystick in FSX (not steam) where my aircrafts VC yoke/joystick is stuck as far right as it will go even thought my joystick is centered. Anyone had the same issue or know how to fix? Please reply to this post the issue is really starting to annoy me and I would love for one of you to be able to fix it! Thanks, Corey

Hi guys, A questions if you please... I am using Jeehell software for my A320 and currently have a joystick being used for various buttons on the FCU etc... There are not enough buttons as you can imagine.. so my question is (as the software does not support keyboard entries) how could i construct something, say a panel, with many buttons on it and then i could assign those to the software? Not really sure where to go with this or what to look for but should imagine someone somewhere has had the same problem? thanks for any help! regards Doug

Good day all. I am trying to configure throttle quadrant from flightsimpm in PMDG NG and I have discovered that when I move the right ENG lever and Speedbrake lever I see both axes have same letter "Z" and this causing conflict. Throttles go crazy. Tried to do the same in FSUIPC and still no luck, FSUIPC detects same letter Z for both axes. Is there a way to re-assign axis letter or other work around? PS. Does anybody has same TQ V2.2 from flightsimpm? Thanks for looking.

  22. Started by Christopher Low,

I use a CH Flightstick Pro USB joystick with P3D. This is a very good joystick, with accurate and precise movement, and also solid build. However, there are times when the throttle wheel "sticks" a bit. I have to fiddle around with it, and move it back and forth rapidly to try and improve the smoothness. What I would like to know is.......can this be lubricated with anything without taking the joystick apart? If so, what do I need to use?

I've been looking around for a piece of hardware to fill out my basic desktop cockpit, mainly for flaps, gear, and trim, and came across this little device which seems to fit the bill and then some. None of the sellers indicate that it is compatible with P3D, so I'm wondering if anyone actually has this working, perhaps through the magic of FSUIPC? Or if you have any other hardware suggestions, I'm all ears. Thanks!
