So I'm trying to install my X52 pro flight stick and every time i run the driver installer and get to the point where it asks me to plug it in it doesn't recognize it and I can't click next. A few time I go it to recognize it and it freezes my pc and I have to shutdown my pc via the power button because even control alt delete doesn't work when it freezes, I have even waited about and hour before I shut it down. I m plugging it into a 2.0 sub instead of a 3.0 and I have tried every USB port and the same thing happens any ideas? Motherboard - Gigabyte Z170XP-SLI. I am considering the following: . A set of Saitek, Radio-Panel-PZ69 and Multi-Panel-PZ70 for $304, OR VRInsight GPS-5 for $400, or EmuTeq GarSim GNS-530 for £465 . Is there enough overlap in features / functionality that I can get just a GNS-5xx or would I still need to get a radio and autopilot? . I anticipate using them for hopping to the next VOR beacon and to the next airport, and autopilot to hold bearing and altitude while I look around and figure out where to go next. . Would I promptly outgrow just a GNS-5xx and want a radio to talk to people (like VATSIM)? . Thanks in advance, JD

This is not a full fledged how-to, but I did want to relay my success with this mod to my Saitek Pro Yoke. Basically, I mounted the yoke into a cabinet on a platform running on ball-bearing drawer rails. I imagine this has already been done, but I haven't seen it. It has been a great upgrade to get smooth elevator action with no sticky points and no detents in the elevator. The idea here is to have the whole base move rather than the yoke rod, and fix a connection from the elevator pot to the cabinet. Seems to me that saitek has purposefully abandoned its X-55 and will soon be selling its follow on, the X-56 Pro. Saitek claims that they have addressed the quality issues with its X-55 and corrected them in the X-56. The biggest deal of the X-56 are its two extra mini-sticks, each located by your thumbs, which when set up appropriately will yield 6DOF (2 DOF on each stick) vehicle control. Hi to all I use the Majestic Dash8Q400 Pro version I have 2 x GoFlight RP48 switch panels and 2 x GoFlight GF-T8 switch panels I would like to be able to use these to control many of the switches in the Q400 instead of using the mouse to do so Does anyone know if this can be done and can they help or assist me to do this I am not overly knowledgeable about FSX I do not want to use FSUIPC for this Thanks all I appreciate your assistance Kind regards Bob

I have been trying to get this issue sorted out with the saitek support team, but I'm not getting anywhere (the suggestions they offered aren't fixing the issue). I purchased a saitek radio last year. I used it along with a saitek yoke, pedals and cessna trim unit. The radio operated perfectly. I purchased the multi panel last month and added it to my sim experience. Suddenly, the XPDR section of the radio unit mysteriously went blank when I switched the button to it (that meant I could no longer manually set the transponders in my planes). I installed the Saitek Yoke PZ44 and Rudder PZ35. Everything works except the brakes on the pedals.When I push the left pedal brake the ailerons activate,when pushing on the right pedals brake the elevator activates. I have experienced a strange problem with my Saitek pro flight yoke. It worked perfectly after my first upgrade to win 10. no problems at all. A while ago, I noticed, that the green light in the digital clock was off., and the yoke did not work any more. at plugging in the yoke I heard the USB-sound, but the yoke was not recognized. Only the build in USB-hub was recognized. Trying to set it up at my laptop worked perfect. no problems at all. I have resetted my computer to a clean Win 10, but it is still not working. I'm trying to make my own aircraft panel out of some leftover arcade buttons, and I've run into a bit of a problem with the GoFlight Interface tool. I have a board that will act as a keyboard when you press a button that is wired up to it. What I can't figure out is, how can I use GoFlight Interface tool with normal keyboard presses? For example: I press one of my arcade buttons, and it sends a signal to my computer to press the key 'X'. Then I want the interface tool to toggle the APU on. Thanks in advance!

Hey all, I rarely reach out but i'm at my wits end here. After upgrading to win10 Build 14291.rs1, my Saitek yoke, throttle and rudders are now utterly useless in Prepar3D. The frustrating part is win10 see's them working perfectly. They are fully functional when I look at their configs. They are powered fine? Latest drivers are installed, however when I launch Prepar3D I face the following problem. 1) They are listed as controlers (even ticked as active) yet there is zero response from any device. 2) Even FSUIPC doesn't recognise their input so I can't "go around the back way". Hi, i am having a CDUII from VRinsight and it did work some time ago with windows 10 but after a new build i am not able to use it with my NGX in P3Dv3.2 Software is installed including the panel CDUII.exe (newest from website) and inside the NGX but it says "device not found" so it must be related to the drivers Anyone else having these issues or know how to fix it ? I have had TrackIR 5 for years, but gave it an airing yesterday for the first time in a very long time (like three years!). I soon saw why I stopped using it - it seems very temperamental. One minute it is OK, next my trying to look to the left causes the view to fly all over the place... I am constantly having to recentre the view and my default VC eyepoint ends up being somewhere like the back of the captain's seat,or whatever. I spent an hour trying to adjust the profile in the advanced settings to get something calm and usable, but gave up in frustration. I've just bought 737 replica levers for the Saitek single throttle quadrant and the manufacturer suggests calibrating the unit with FSUIPC. I've been on Pete Dowson's forum but with no success.... Does anyone have any instructions or advice that may help? Flying the PMDG 737 or 777, in an 'ideal world', the centre 'stick' will control thrust, the left 'stick' will control the spoilers (lever pulled 'down' to extend and 'up' to retract), and the right lever will extend flaps (lever pulled 'down' to deploy, and 'up' to retract). Looking to upgrade controllers and inquired about compatibility with PFC tech support before I placed an order. The reply was: "We have had numerous reports of USB problems with Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 that Windows 7 users are not experiencing." Moved my computer a few weeks ago and had to unplug everything. When I plugged my PFC throttle quadrant back into the USB port, it no longer is being identified either in FSX controls dropdown, nor in FSUIPC. I tried to configure in PFC config as twin-turbo prop throttles, but no luck. I have FSXpfc.dll loaded in the modules folder. Also, I unplugged it and plugged into various other USB ports with no luck either. My Saitek rudders and CH yoke were identified and work fine. Using Win 7 64-bit. Any suggestions? Thanks
