Normally only fly with my CH Products yoke, pedals and throttle quad but spending more time in the A2A Texan of late. Got me thinking to pull out my Saitek X65f HOTAS flight stick and throttles. These had been shelved partly due to driver issues when Windows 10 was launched almost a year back. Downloaded the latest drivers from their site today and they are still in BETA a full year after Windows 10 was launched. Download indicates that the driver signature is either missing or corrupt. That will mean that Windows will reject the driver over anything else it can find on a normal boot. This is what lead to issues where systems slowed down/froze and required constant re…

(Specs in sig) I have everything set up with all USB power management controls in device manager set to not allow PC to shut down device but up until this week when the PC would go to sleep mode the yoke (and rudders and a joystick for that matter) would all turn off. They would wake when the PC woke. This week I came back from a week away and before leaving I had turned the PC off and even shutdown the power supply. After firing it back up on return, the yoke (and other controls) stay on all the time. I don't know what happened or how to return it to the prior state. My concern is the darn bright green glow in that room all night and burning out the panel. Anyone hav…

I haven't owned a Joystick for Flight Simulator before so I am pretty noob at it. I am planning to get the Saitek Pro Flight Yoke and the Aerosoft Airbus X. I have seen the system requirements on the Aerosoft website. So if I buy the Saitek Pro, can I use it for the Aerosoft Airbux X considering that the yoke doesn't have separate rudder pedals?

My 14 year old CH Product rudder pedals have seen their better days. So what would you replace them with. Looking for something with a little more realism and precision. Thanks Randy

Hi all, I have an issue where after a computer restart, my Saitek Radio Panel works as expected when running SPAD. However, if I quit FSX (or P3D for that matter), the display won't work again until a computer restart. That said, it's still being read, as it still changes radio frequencies (at least in the SPAD utility.) Anyone know how to fix? Thanks

I recently did a clean install of Windows 10 and after I plugged in all my controllers they were all recognized by the new OS. I am not planning on installing any the Saitek drivers only if I need to but wanted to know what is recommended for the Radio Panel and the Switch Panel. Should I install Saitek's plugins or should I only install Spad? If Spad is fine which version are you guys using? I also plan on using LINDA for the panels with FSUIPC paid version.

I have recently bought the bovevpnel but can't get it working in FSX. When I start FSX the panel does not respond i.e there is no display. I thought the panel was fully compatible with FSX (I have it working in x-plane thanks to a plugin). I haven't installed any of the Saitek drivers or software as conventional wisdom says not to. I searched for info so I know this has been asked before and seen references to SPAD but have no idea what that is or where to find it. Can someone put me on the right road and if I need SPAD give me a download link. Thanks in anticipation. Chris

Which is better GO Flight Yoke or PFC Yokes? Are there any specific issues with the Go Flight or PFC in particular? I live in Australia and I can get the go Flight for around $1000 AUS whereas PFC will be at least $1200 probably more. There isn't enough detailed reviews on the Go Flight I can find. Can anyone give some more info?

My joystick ceased functioning not to long ago and I tried a few different times to get it to work. Finally I hit on turning on the joystick controls which had been off since I had been using FSUIPC instead of the normal FSX controls. This made my joystick function again. My qjuestion is, why did my FSUIPC controls disappear on me? I don't think it's a joystick issue, what caused the thing to go haywire like this? Was there an update or something to FSX SE? All of my control settings in FSUIPC have now been reset back to 0. Sorry if I posted this in the wrong forum, but I'm unsure if this is a hardware or a software issue.

This may have been covered many times in the past but my question I hope is more specific. I have just got a Saitek Cessna Yoke (plus multi panel) which I intend to use with both FSX and x-plane. i came across a post somewhere (but now can't find it) that explained the "issues" of getting used to using a yoke compared to a joystick and wondered if anyone could shed some light. Also, anyone offer suggestions on how to they have configured the yoke (buttons etc.) for both FSX and x-plane. It has so many button options I'm not sure where to start. I haven't installed any of the Saitek software as this seems to be the recommended course of action. Thanks C…

If you are lucky enough to have a VR set already, and have tried any of the supported sims with it, could you tell me bow the following works? You have you super-immersive display. Everything looks awesome, you are holding on to your yoke/stick, all good. Then you have to reach out for some of you other gear like throttle, panel, etc. But... You can't see the real world.. How exactly would that work..?

I have problems with my Saitek rudder pedals in Win 10 - they are not recognized. They are listed in Device Manager as "Unknown USB device (Invalid Device Descriptor)". They worked before - I just unplug from a USB port and used another and it worked. But it no longer works. I tried several suggestions but found no solution. Does anyone have some suggestions I could try? Many thanks!

I have been using CH Pro Pedals for a long time but lately am having problems with loss of taxi speed (continuous braking) after releasing the toe brakes. The flag at the bottom corner of the screen shows "differential brakes" when applying the toe brakes but shows "brakes" after releasing them. I have to engage the parking brake and then release it with keypresses to resume taxi speed ("brakes" flag disappears). Is this a hardware or software issue? If the pedals are at fault, why does setting and releasing the parking brake release the toe brakes? I have a lot of other why? issues about life in general but better left for another time.

I am looking for a new throttle quad to replace my CH quad. I usually fly Majestic Dash8 and PMDG products. Can anyone comment on the Goflight quad or others? I fly P3d2.5 on Windows7-64 and assign and calibrate with fsuipc. Thanks Paul

After a full reinstall of everything (Hard drive failed), I cannot install the Saitek driver for the quadrant. Re-downloaded it twice from Saitek but still no luck. I deleted the Saitek driver using Device Manager so it is now recognized as a 3-axis, 6-button joystick and does function properly so at least I can use it. The Yoke and rudder pedals driver installed okay Does anyone have a solution to this problem? System is Win7 Ultimate Neal Howard .

Interesting yet expensive. Looking forward to see how this one holds against the Thrustmaster model. http://www.amazon.com/Saitek-H-O-T-Controller-SCB432210002-01/dp/B01CZTSS3O/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1462492469&sr=1-1&keywords=saitek

I currently have a Thrustmaster Hotas-X and Logitech Extreme 3 Pro as backup for use on FSX & x-plane. The Thrustmaster is OK, a bit twitchy at times despite all my efforts to improve it including tightening the tension to max, but I recently came across a Youtube video of someone who had a full Saitek ProFlght setup and what struck me most was the comfortable seating position. With my joystick I have to be somewhat hunched over the controller and over time this causes me some back discomfort whereas with the yoke being that be further away from the desk the seating was more reclined. I was also impressed with all the panels being used which would enhance the whol…

I am running p3d2.5 in Windows7-64 bit. I have the CH throttle Quad and assign and calibrate everything through FSUIPC without using the CH Control Manager. Lately I have had problems with my throttles spiking to max range when moved slightly. Does anyone out there use the CH Control manager and does it work with FSUIPC? thanks Paul
