Hi all, I have a Saitek Pro Flight Elevator Trim and I've noticed that when I use it in FSX:SE it is not very responsive - meaning that I have to turn the trim wheel numerous times to move the trim just a little bit in the aircraft (my best estimate is that ever 4-5 turns of the actual trim wheel translates into one actual turn in the FSX:SE aircraft.) Do I need to increase the sensitivity and reduce the null zone in the Control settings to correct this? I'm going to test now but wanted to post my question here first in case there were other suggestions I hadn't thought of. As always, your help is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Hello everybody, Can anyone fix this very annoying lag with Saitek Yoke and Rudders in P3D ? It is not there in the control panel, so there must be a problem inside P3D. See my video : https://www.dropbox.com/s/28wkj8q68rrmp0t/Prepar3D%2012.31.2016%20-%2017.15.45.04.avi?dl=0 I have P3D 3.4 and Saitek drivers are updated. Thank you very much ! Jf.

I recently added my 2nd throttle quadrant after receiving it after 1yr and 3 months of backorder. When I assign all the Axis's and button's it works fine until I shut down and restart FSX. The yoke quadrant assignments are retained but the USB 2nd quadrant forgets the 2nd propeller assignment and makes it the gear control. The flap axis on the 3rd handle remains okay. I have left the 1st handle for the throttle no 2 unassigned since I don't like the lag issue when operating them separate. I have the Saitek combat pedals also attached on the USB port on the yoke. Wondered if it made any difference what order they were in. Running win7. Wondering what SPAD is since I neve…

Hi Just wondered if anyone has come up with a solution with the oculus rift guardian edgeing and the use of flyinside. Before i got the touch controllers as a Christmas present all was good and i had no issues what so ever. But now with the extra sensor and the controllers when i sit at my desk and use the Oculus I get the blue guardian edging because i now sit to close to the sensor. I know it kind of defeats the point of the guardian, but is it possible to either hide it or disable seeing it? Cheers And a happy new year to all when it comes to your part of the world

I'm looking at getting a new yoke (Redbird), and have noted that it doesn't come with a POV switch (my current worn-out yoke is a 12 year old CH products). So I'm trying to figure out how to use a stand-alone POV switch- firstly do they exist, and if so- secondly has anyone tried using one. I could use the POV switch on the CH yoke, as I have no other plans for it, but just the amount of space taken up by a yoke just for the purposes of having a POV switch is a little impracticable.... given the limited space I have to work with. Any ideas much appreciated. Thanks, Bruce.

Hi all If I wanted VATSIM audio output using VPilot in two USB headsets, how can I do that? Sometimes a friend and I fly together and it would be useful to have the sim audio coming from the main speakers but the VATSIM voice audio being relayed to two headsets instead of one (as you can only select one output hardware device in Vpilot's audio settings). Any ideas? Cheers

I have a seven year old pair of CH pedals which have been driving me nuts trying to get the brakes right since converting to fsx steam. I have spent hours trying to adjust them through FUSIPC as well as fsx sensitivity adjustment. They still grab too easy with sensitivity slider all the way right. I saw in PC Pilot that Thrustmaster has a very nicely priced set. I was wondering if anyone using these could tell me if the brakes are any easier to adjust. Thanks in advance. Vic G.

Hi everyone! Today i got new TQ6 throttles from Go Flight, and they're great! Expect for one little thing, when trying to set the power to idle (putting the throttles all the way down on the quadrant) the power in the simulator is still up, at about 40% N1. If i look down at the in game throttles, they're not fully idle. I'm not sure why this is. if anyone knows it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks Adrian EDIT: Ok, well fixed it by doing something in the controls section of %appdata%/Microsoft/FSX/Controls, but now i can't get idle power in the air, only about 35% N1, i have a feeling this is normal and realistic. I'm using PMDG 737.

After all my flight controllers pretty much died at the same time (mostly due to dust), I just went back to a CH yoke after 8 years of using a Saitek Pro Flight Yoke. I have though, bought a pair of Saitek throttle quadrants, as I like to fly tube liners. Its sooooooo bizarre going back. I'd forgotten how noisy the plastic shaft of the CH yoke is compared to the steel Saitek shaft. Age old question..... Can those plastic shafts be SAFELY lubed with anything? PTFE spray perhaps? By FAR the biggest problem I'm having though, is having the 'pan' switch on the right. This means its impossible to pan around the VC whilst also manipulating the throttles. How do oth…

Hello everyone! I am an FSX user. I own Saitek's Pro Flight Yoke system with the throttle and the yoke included. I also have the Pro Flight Rudder pedals. However, I can't use them properly, because they disconnect on task switch. Actually, they remain connected to the computer, but FSX cannot recognize them. Sometimes, FSX recognizes them again and are usable but only until I switch to another task (Firefox for example). What can I do? It's a shame I bought those products, but can't use them now. My OS is Windows 8.1 and I have the latest drivers installed.

My Saitek Pro Pedals went kaput recently when the tab holding the spring in the right pedal broke loose. Now I'm without pedals and on the prowl for a replacement. I've read mixed reviews on the CH Products pedals and don't know enough about the ThrustMaster model to make an educated decision. Does anyone know when Logitech plans to start shipping Saitek gear? Everything Saitek from Logitech is 'pre-order only' on Amazon and it's pretty annoying to see the price point much lower than places that still have the original Saitek pedals they haven't been able to sell (almost $100 more than what Logitech is advertising, but at least they have them in.) Thoughts?

Hi Folks, I own EZdok but just don't seem to have enough spare keys to set up all the 3D views (3D VC inside/outside) that I would like. I essentially need an input device with more buttons, and it appears that the Thrustmaster MFD Cougar provides exactly that. It gives a row of 5 buttons left arranged vertically, 5 buttons right side vertically, and 5 top horizontally and 5 bottom horizontally with a simple USB connection that appears to look like another joystick to the application. If it works, this would be just what I need to assign my various views in nice logical groups of 4 with 5 views for each subgroup. Is anyone using the Thrustmaster MFD with EZdok …

Hello everyone, I am currently in the process of evaluating options to expand my flight sim hardware! I had the Saitek Pro Flight System (Yoke and Throttle) but i had a minor accident with the throttle and I need a new one. Seeing all the problems with the availability of it, I began to think about the CH throttle quadrant. My question is, will I be able to use Saitek's Yoke with it (or my Logitech attack 3 joystick) or will i have compatibility issues? I am currently using FSX:SE. Thanks a lot in advance, any advice on how to actually operate both at the same time is much appreciated!

Hi folks, I have another problem with the new bought PMDG 737NGX and the CHPro Pedals. All other aircraft including the MS default B737 and the iFly show cockpit pedals and rudder in normal middle position, as long as the hardware is in middle position - but not so with the PMDG. Here with CHPro Pedals in middle position the right pedal in cockpit appears in almost fully forward position and the rudder shows far to the right. So this must be PMDG specific. I tried everything, Calibration by CH Control Manager, by FSUIPC (advanced) and by FSX, even installing the PMDG again. Nothing helps. Has anybody any idea? Regards Claus

Not sure if anyone noticed, but I'm very glad to see that after months of issues with Saitek equipment availability, finally Logitech delivered the equipment to stores. First units are already available on Amazon and also it came to my attention that some of them are already being send out to customers. Price is also back to normal (60 bucks in U.S.). I'm unlucky as in my country there is still none available yet and shipment from any other country seems to be quite expensive from Amazon, but as soon as they come over I'm going to get Majestic Q400 along with this beauty to finally have appropriate quantity of levers.

I have the Saitek pro flight yoke with throttle quadrant, my third one. Anyways it has been working great until about two days ago when I load up into my A2A C172 and try to look around with the hat switch but I could not. I also could not move any of the control surfaces or throttle up. I just tried putting it into three different USB ports and installing drivers and software but nothing works.

Don't actually have them yet but placed the order and received an email saying they should ship by this Friday. Just so excited that I had to share it (although my wallet was not too happy with me)! Once I get them and get some flight time with them I will share my thoughts on it. So far from what I have heard they are really high quality products.

Hi Guys, how do you set up the sensitivity of the ailerons and elevator so that the inputs are smooth and appropriate? currently even the slightest movement of the yoke results in what would amount to serious over control. Nothing like the steady and smooth flying one sees on the posted videos of particularly the PMDG B737NG. Neil Bradley

Hello, Anyone had problems with the goflight MCP Advanced, like rotating an encoder to increase a value and the value going down ? I can't set a precise value in HDG for example, if I need 230 I go to 229, 232, but very hard to set the wanted value. Changed USB ports, etc, in some USB the module freezes, when it doesn't freeze I have the encoder problem. Any suggestion from sending it back to GF ? Thanks a lot, Ulisses

So I figured I would make something to secure my MFG Crosswind pedals to prevent slipping and make them more sturdy. I went to Home Depot and spent less than $9 on parts. - 48" piece of MDF (had store cut to 20" wide) - Piece of 2 ft 1/2" PVC pipe - Piece of foam pipe insulation I wanted a slight incline to the pedals so I created a foam/ pvc structure to raise the back of the base. The foam makes the structure more floor/ wall friendly as it does not scratch. I used PVC inside the foam to make it more rigid and prevent the foam from compressing under the weight. I started with cutting the pvc and foam to length. I applied glue to the pvc pipe and inser…

Hi. I have used a slide potentiometer with 3 wires. How would I now connect that to my PC so that it is recognised? Can those wires be connected to a USB connector for instance? Thanks for any info.
