Hi, I am trying to program my new Saitek X52 Pro for FSX-Steam. Also, I would like to use the "profile" setup with the SST programming software. If I program the joystick buttons in FSX settings, all commands work fine. If I try certain key commands in the SST, the will NOT work. For example: BRAKES Programmed in FSX -Brakes APPLY- = Key "B" as well as Key "." and both keystrokes are repeated. - Park Brake SET- = "CTRL" + "B" as well as "CTRL" + "." and these keystrokes are not repeated. How can I program these events to a profile with the Saitek SST software? Also does anyone know of a more detailed descript…

Good day all. After last Windows update my yoke is no longer recognized by W10. It is not shown neither in Hardware and Printer section nor in FSX controls. In device manager the yoke is shown as Unknown devise with a little warning sign. Tried to reinstall the driver, no luck, during driver installation the NEXT button on the installer is grayed out (bc W10 does not see it). Thx for looking W10, FSX-SE

I've had several occasions on PMDG and Aerosoft aircraft, where after landing, the rudder pedals have no effect on the nosewheel steering as they do during takeoff. The aircraft then drifts to the side of the runway. This is most noticeable while in reverse thrust. The pedals function fine during taxi and most takeoffs, and the rudder moves correctly when the pedals are deflected. The pedals are calibrated correctly. Is anyone else out there seeing this also? Thanks.

As the topic suggests, does someone know of a motorized TQ 737NG style for desktop use? I did some searching but could only find huge ones meant to be installed in a full-scale home cockpit.

Hello, Recently installed a 6DOF CKAS Thruxim system and am beginning the climb up the steep learning curve. Would love to find others who also have a Thruxim and use the SimCor software to share experiences regarding tweaking and interfacing. Thanks! -Paul

My Saitek Rudder Pedals have always had issues with the toe brake. Since it was a manufacture defect, Madcatz would always fix it. Now that they are owned by Logitech, they say it isn't under warranty. How can I set my left toe brake to brake for the left AND right? It's very hard to brake on runways now :( I've heard FSUIPC can do it but I don't have the paid version, wanted to see if there was an alternative.

Anyone have any dealings with this company? I'm considering buying a T7 column yoke from them. Looks pretty good, but have not really seen this company mentioned. They have a web site, but it's not updated. Gnacino

I have a serious issue with my old ch flight yoke, so much i'm pretty sure its on its last legs, constantly twitches on ailerons, or will settle then suddenly the range is way off (after trying multiple usb ports/hubs, cant get it to stay settled anymore).. At any rate.. I've pretty much settled on a ch eclipse yoke ($200 amazon).. Ive read the comparisons on this yoke, with the saitek pro (more, $214?), vs the saitek cessna yoke ($?? cant find).. It always seemed people liked the fluidity of the ch eclipse over the saitek pro. The saitek pro also has that quadrant which sucks up more desk space (i think).. not a huge deal breaker but a consideration.. meanwhil…

I have P3d V3.4, I have been flying with P3d now for about 3 years. I am using the Saitek Pro-Yoke, (2) quadrants and rudder pedals. Up until yesterday I have had no problems with calibrating them or setting their sensitivity. The problem now is any movement forward on the throttles and they jump to 100% and retarding them back to the detent brings them into reverse, Then the right (#2) throttle sticks in reverse thrust. Its 100% or nothing. I've tried to re calibrate them, I've uninstalled and reinstalled the throttles, and drivers. No luck. I can run FSX and they work perfectly. I plugged my old X52pro throttle in and assigned it in P3d and it calibrates and wo…

Looking around for programmable keyboard, where you can print your own key labels. The only thing I found that looked any good was the X-keys 60 USB. But the pricing was a little bit steep. There were other options, but impossible to find retailers that would ship to Norway. Or, you had to order minimum 50 items from China! Any other solution is now sought. Initially I just wanted to find some printable key stickers, but the asking price was 100$+ from Amazon. For a piece of adhesive paper!!! Any suggestions?

Problem I have is my yoke all of a sudden will just rattle and shake on the ground at idle. Try to turn the yoke just a very little and the yoke jerks full right or left. Pitches up and down same way. I think it's a .dll problem. Any one now how to fix this. This is a new ssd drive. FSX-SE in the only thing I use it for. So if I have to do a clean erase, It's no problem. I just don't know windows well enough with out good mapping instructions, from some one to tell me my way In to fix this. Thanks Stanford.

Spoiler Spoiler Recently added a second throttle quad to my Saitek yoke/throttle quad. I've been using FSUIPC (registered) for years now and have assigned/calibrated a number of aircraft with little difficulty. I just recently purchased the PMDG QOTS 747 and I'm trying to set up the four throttle axis for the four engines. I set up the middle lever (on the new quad) as engine 1, and when I move the lever from the bottom most position, where that value in FSUIPC is -16384, it jumps immediately to positive numbers as I barely move the lever up. The other levers scroll up from negative numbers to 0 to + 16384. I've tried several …

Hi all, I use a Logitech Extreme 3D pro joystick. It has one throttle slider/axis. I am wondering if there is any way that I could have that one axis be responsible for throttle, mixture and prop. Eg, when wanting to change throttle, use the slider as normal. When wanting to change mixture, press a key (or press and hold) and then move the slider; eg shift+slider = mixture. And then ctrl+slider=prop. I don't think this is possible in default FSX control settings. Is this something FSUIPC could do? It may well be that it is impossible, but I'd be interested to know. Thanks.

As a person finding his way around FSX (does anyone ever get to the bottom of it?), I have a query about the latest list of Commands. What is the effect of using a command with the word 'Set' attached to it? For example, Aileron Set, Flaps Set, Com Radio Set, Gear Set, and so on. If anyone can give me a pointer to where the commands are explained in detail, I would be sooooooooo grateful. Wondering if these types of command can give me an edge in the working of, say, the PMDG 747 -400X, is really doing my head in! (Using Windows 7 64-bit). Regards and Happy Aviating, Philhen.

Sometimes after landing, regardless of the aircraft, there is no response to rudder inputs, and the airplane drifts randomly to one side of the runway. I use both the joystick twist and the rudder pedals for nose wheel steering. I use the joystick as a tiller when taxiing, and the rudder pedals during takeoff and landing rolls. All other functions work well. The only other issue I have is the high sensitivity of the rudder, regardless of the settings I use. Is anyone else having this problem? (Windows 10 and FSX)

Latest post I found here is year 2014. I can't believe there is not one mention of a Gladiator stick here. Specifically I'm looking at the Gladiator Pro MKII stick. http://vkbcontrollers.com/?product=vkb-gladiator The quality should be on par with the Warthog, or even better - I read that Warthog has a quite strong centering force, which makes it harder to break from the center, while Gladiator is supposedly much smoother (I think I read it one the E:D forums, this was MKI...). The quality build seems very solid, metal base and gimbal, with quite some tuning options (springs and cams) available. I'm actually looking for a decent replacement for my now very o…

I'm going to buy that yoke but without rudder pedals. I plan to buy the pedals in the future but not now. Currently I have an old joystick with rudder and it works good - it centers everytime I release the rudder lever. Anyway, I've noticed that yoke has two vertical and one horizontal - let say - sliders on the main body (e.g. next to the red button on the right). I'm wondering whether these are normal buttons or each of them has independent axis? I planned to map the rudder for this horizontal slider - to simulate the pedals. I usually fly jets so I'm using it only for taxi - should be enough. I know that this is possible to do on normal buttons like …

Ok, so I have a big problem with my Saitek Pro Flight Yoke system.. I just can't find a way to delete the DEFAULT driver assignments for the yoke and the TQ. For example, I want to use the big red button on the yoke as a push-to-talk, but the default assignments switches between views at the same time. I have tried to uninstall drivers, but without them, FS won't recognize the movements at all.. Any ideas? //Ivar

Does anyone have these?....or any of the 3 units? Comments? http://www.sportys.com/pilotshop/complete-kit-of-redbird-alloy-yoke-rudder-single-throttle.html Google searching comes up with links to the Jay and their other complete sims. Not much info on any of these units....unless of course I missed it. Thanks! Jim Edit- Interesting....on the Redbird site it says they don't recommend updating to Win10 if using their products.
