Hi all, I am putting together a new computer build which includes FSX steam, and Thrustmaster Hotus Warthog and Thrusmaster pedals. I have used FS9 with a joystick in the past with quite a few add-ons and will be installing that also. I never had a complex setup though like warthog and pedals. The main question is how to go about setting up the throttle, joystick, and pedals. I have searched a lot on these forums and seems as if using FSUIPC and/or? LINDA is the most recommended way to go forward. I did have a registered version of FSUIPC at some point in the past. Just looking for any input, advise, guides, profiles, etc to get this all setup without having to…

This has never happened to me before. I am using FSX Gold Edition and I have a CH Yoke...The problem I am having is that when I am on the ground either with a default plane or a PMDG, Aer0s0ft, etc my Yoke will not turn either left or right, I only go straight. Now if I try to take off either with a default plane or a PMDG Aerosoft etc, the Yoke works fine, I am able to turn and climb or desend. So maybe someone can help me on this, greatly appreciate. thanks, Ronny

Have been using all of my Saitek controllers (Yoke, Quadrant, Pedals, and Trim wheel) in P3Dv4 for several days now, then suddenly I started the sim and noticed that the Hat Top switch -- which I have set to VIEW SCROLL -- only works scrolling up, but not down, right or left. I thought there might be a problem in the controller hardware contacts, so I loaded P3Dv3, and the switch worked a it should. So it formerly worked ok in P3Dv4, but now works only partially in v4, but perfectly in v3. Any suggestions as to what might be the problem? Thanks

Goflight's in-house software has a feature whereby a button press can be programmed to emulate a particular keypress, i.e. assigning a button to emulate pressing "Alt" on your keyboard to bring down the inflight menu. I've tried doing this for "Alt" and other keypresses using Goflight's software, but either it doesn't work, or causes v4 to freeze up. Anyone had any success with the keypress in P3dv4 using either Goflight's software or Polypot's?

I've had my Saitek Pro Yoke & Throttle quadrants for 8 years and overall they've worked well. But nothing lasts forever and I'm considering what to do should one or more units fail. If the throttle quadrant supplied with the yoke should fail it's not possible to buy another. It's only supplied with the yoke so I'd need to shell out around £140 for a replacement. Given my current PC is more than adequate for P3D v3.4 (and v4 eventually) I don't need to shell out a couple of grand for a new one any time soon. So I'm considering moving to a high-end yoke and throttle. My CH pedals are fine for now. they seem almost indestructible. I've considered and rejected t…

I have been giving a lot of thought to upgrading my sim. With my wife’s go ahead these plans are now on the fast track. I have spent lots of time sorting through seemingly endless possibilities. I am looking seriously at some of the cockpit setups from GoFlight. However, there are a few posts on the internet about people having difficulty with GoFlight modules not working with X Plane 10 and Windows 10 (and even back to Windows 8.1). My question for the more experienced users is simply this: Are the GoFlight products solidly compatible with X Plane 10 or not? It is to be expected that with so many potential variations of computers and software that there will be issu…

Hi, A few days ago, I found out that for all of my joysticks, every time I make an input with anyone of them, it takes approximately half a second until the virtual yoke in the FS moves. Happens both on FSX (non Steam edition) and P3Dv3. All drivers are up to date, and also, when I try to calibrate them outside the sim, there is no delay. I tried to configure the controls and the CFG file from scratch, but there is no effect. Also, since the issue began, I began having lower FPS than I am used to have. My game controllers: Saitek Pro Flight Yoke 2 * Saitek Pro Flight Throttle quadrant Logitech G940(Stick, Throttle and pedals). Thanks in advance.

Hello. I'm trying to figure out why I cannot select certain flaps positions in PMDG NGX and 777. I use TQ from Flightsimpm and it works OK. I reinstalled W10 and installed P3D4 and after that I cannot select flaps 1 and sometimes 2 in NGX and flaps 1 and sometimes 5 on 777. All other flaps positions can be selected with no problem. Spoke to flightsimpm and after some troubleshooting it appeared that TQ is working OK.. Sensitivity and null zone settings as recommended (full and 0 accordingly). Tested and calibrated the Flap lever in W10, no issues. Tested the Flap lever in DIView and looks like the program detects that the Flap lever is moving OK thru flaps 12 …

Hi, I use the MCP v3 by Opencockpits on my FSX NGX. Whenever I want to make a large change in any rotary-knob-setting (ie Altitude, Hdg, IAS/Mach...) turning it as fast as possible just makes it wobble back and forth on its current value setting. I have to find a "semi-fast" turning rate in order to make a larger value change somewhat quickly. I just wonder if this is a hardware limitation, or if there's a way to make fast input work better. I use the OC4BA interface between my MCP and FSX. (I've tried posting at their forum, but it doesn't seem to be the most active place.) all the best,

Hallo I saw this new yoke: http://www.vrinsightshop.com/shop/step1.php?number=80 This is the newer version of the previous Flight Master Yoke I and II. I have a question regarding dimensions: on the website, the width is given as 66cm or 26inch. This looks very wide. I wonder if it is misstated and this dimension is the depth. I plan to add some switches to the yoke handle. Is the handle open at the back? Or does it have a removable cover? Can someone post a detailed picture of the back of the handle (version I or II)? What is the width of the yoke handle, when viewed from the front (version I or II)? Any help and info is much appreciated!

I bought 2 boards from Desktop aviator, model 2120 with 20 dual pulse switches and model 2630 with 10 dp3t switches using usb. I'm trying to add offsets using these switches for my PMDG 737, 777, 747v3. I have fsuipc 4 and the offset list of each PMDG from their sdk folders. Using fsuipc, I pick a switch, choose the offset I.E. offset byte togglebit, then after the x 64FA, then in the parameter I put 1 because it's 1 byte. This is for the taxi light switch. But nothing works. Now if I assign a keystroke (ctl+T) in the key assignment in the FMC and then with fsuipc select the switch and use the keystroke, it works. I know there should be away. Any one know how to u…

Hello everybody, I bought a Saitek Pro Flight Yoke System recently and I am trying to set it up with my P3D & A2A Cessna 172 Trainer. I calibrated the yoke through FSUIPC, downloaded drivers from the saitek website and started a test flight. The plane is shooting to the sky right after take-off with yoke in zero position. The elevator trim is set to TAKE-OFF. This was not happening with Saitek X52. The yoke indeed is in "zero" position in windows devices calibrator. If it wasn't for the X52, I would be sure that I am doing something wrong with the A2A. But apparently not... Does anyone have any advice how to troubleshoot this? Tha…

I've recently purchased the Saitek H.O.T.A.S X56 Joystick and Throttle and have not been able to use it due to FSX control settings changing the sensitivity level from whatever it was before to 0. It is happening constantly and I haven't found any solution yet. If anyone is having this issue or knows the solution it would be greatly appreciated if you could reply on this topic. Mohammed

The old code of spad which was free doesn't work with V4, so the only solution is buying Spad.next or is there any alternative? I try to read this topic but don't look good http://spad.189988.n3.nabble.com/Problem-with-P3Dv4-64Bits-and-FSUIPC5-tp4026167.html I even try to by pass as metioned but not working. Can we compile the old spad code for V4? What other solution work LINDA? Logiteck is working on the driver, at list now we can use all Saitek panel with Logitek driver, but only with default V4 airplane no interaction with custom aircraft. Spad next its payware and for my opinion, it should come with a more easy way to setup, view the pri…

I had to reinstall my FSX software yesterday and I'm now having issues with my rudder pedals (Pro Flight Saitek). I am unable to fix the brakes issue, even after I checked the reverse boxes in the controls section for the pedals (toe brakes). The brakes remain on during taxiing and takeoff. The differential braking works fine. Any assistance will be appreciated.

I use a Saitek AV8R-01 joystick for FSX; Windows 7, 64bit. Sim worked well with Saitek yoke/pedals/throttle quadrant and worked well with the AV8R-01 for a bit. Now, however, keeping it calibrated is an ongoing effort. The X axis eventually goes right of center. Test and calibrate through FSX works for awhile, sometimes just rapidly moving the X axis between its limits will "fix" it for a bit. I've gone into devices and unchecked the "link deadzones" box and then bracketed the X axis indicator, etc. It works too, for a bit but the issue is that the X axis is almost constantly fluctuating back and forth - sometimes quite a bit - and the brackets have to be too big to conta…
