I've been away on business for the last ten days and have come home to find my dedicated FSX computer has gone somewhat rouge on me. The main issue seems to be that it has lost all the settings for my Keyboard, Saitek Yoke, Saitek Throttle Quadrant and Saitek Rudder pedals. This I have been able to restore easily enough by going into the controller settings in FSX and re-assigning them all. However I am left with a problem with my throttles (assigned to the Saitek Throttle Quadrant). When the levers on the quad are in the Idle position, the throttles in FSX are still at 10% power. When the levers on the quad are in the full position, FSX is only giving me about …

Hi guys, I've just picked up an A10 Warthog from Thrustmaster. I am over the moon with the quality which is a fantastic upgrade from my Saitek, X52-Pro. (I've just been in our company A330 sim and the joystick feels identical (heavy) to the real thing). I have a couple of questions, (default drivers no further software) Firstly, there are a lot of switches and some are two way and some are 3 way, for the two way switches I was hoping for 2 actions, but it seems like it just cycles one function. For example, for landing gear in the boeing, the 3 way switch only regonises one position and that just cycles the gear up and dow…

Hello Everyone, So i just built a new FSX computer with Windows 7 64. I installed new updated drivers for all my Saitek gear (Multi Panel, Switch Panel, Radio Panel, Throttle Quadrant) and everythings working well, except my switch panel. It works fine on the test page, everything doing what its supposed to, but when I load a flight, its like the wires literally get crossed inside the thing! The Engine Start knob turns the avionics on and off, The Avionics switch turns Master on/off, fuel pump works about half the time, usually have to flip it 2-3X just to get it to switch on or off. And only half of the light switches work, panel lights will flash for a millisecond, but…

So I was finally excited when my wife let me buy the 500$ joystick HOTA rig and to my surprise Thrustmaster.com has been down since the 17th. Does anyone have the drivers for the joystick that can put up for download? You would make my day!! I have profiles for X plane, MS SIM and IR2 but profiles don't do me much good with windows 10 64 default drivers for them :( Thank you so much in advance!!! Jim

New sim owner/forum member here. I recently bought an older model Fly-it helicopter simulator. The Flightlink avionics panel, part KR-1/F1 is a gas plasma display and all the numbers are burnt in and do not display properly. As I understand it, Flightlink is out of business and the number/email on their website are a dead end. Anyone had any luck with finding someone to revive the displays without breaking the bank? The guys down at platinum simulators have been excellent with helping me so far, but they're saying the panel can't be fixed and to upgrade the panel causes a domino of other upgrades that are going to break the bank. Thanks for the wisdom! -Tom

My system: Jetline I7 4770K at 4.2 GHZ, windows 10 home, 64 bit. Problem started last week and so far have not found any solution. FSX does not recognize any of the buttons on the joystick, however windows sees the joystick just fine with all the buttons functional. Have looked at the Standard.xml and found it was kind of messed up so I've edited it to the way I want the buttons to be. Starting FSX and looking at the controls they do not match the Standard.xml file. I have removed the joystick and restart PC to let windows add it back, but still no help, moved my edited Standard.xml file to the controls folder in \username\appdata\roaming\microsoft\fsx\controls, …

Does anyone know what's wrong with the Thrustmaster website? Every time I try to log in I just get a generic screen saying they're working on a problem. Thanks.

Anyone have any experience ordering the GoFlight TQ6-Base direct from goflight? (https://goflightinc.com/store/tq6-tilt-base/ ) I was looking to add this to my collection but noticed some web sites saying the Tq6 base does NOT come with the starter panel. Is this true from the part direct from goflight? Nowhere on it does it state it doesn't come with the starter panel, only that the throttle quad is separate. Are they really charging nearly $200 USD for just a metal shell to rotate the throttles? Granted it's currently on sale but that is extremely over priced IMO. Honestly, after my purchase of the TQ6 Advanced Throttle's I'm a little disappointed with the quali…

Hi all, Wondering if someone might be able to help because I am getting no response on the Saitek/Logitech website at the moment. I have had a Saitek throttle quadrant for a few months now and it has worked perfectly well for me. I thought I would up my game for twins and get the Pro Flight Yoke so I had the two quadrants and a new yoke to replace joystick. When I installed the new yoke it recognised it in the driver installation software but then when I plugged in my old quadrant into the hub on the yoke it caused the old quadrant to cycle connect/disconnect with the green light going off and the windows USB Connect/Disconnect chimes sounding. I tried pl…

I've been looking around to replace my trusted Saitek cyborg 3D joystick with a quality yoke for use in P3D/PMDG. I have come up with either the Yoko or the new 737 desktop yoke from ACE which has a decent price tag. I know the Yoko is a good product but it's price demands I research carefully. While there are a number of user/technical reviews on the Yoko there's not much around on the ACE. I checked their Facebook account and via a review could check the insides of the product but could form a conclusion and also seemed unsurprisingly rather sponsored... Has anyone here received the ACE desktop yoke or have any advice? thanks, Andy

Hi all I'm thinking about getting the 747 MCP module. It seems to be the most authentic looking of the three available options and also (looks) to be of good quality, but that's always hard to judge from poor website image quality. Does anyone have any experience with it? It's not cheap, so want to ensure that I make the right choice. Thanks Erich

Many moons ago, someone (I think it was N4gix) posted how to use a double toggle switch to make the gear go up and down in FSX. It had to do with adding an entry to the Standards.xml file. My old computer died, and I had to reinstall FSX thus losing my modified file. If anyone can help me with the proper lines to add to the cfg, I would be most grateful. This is specifically for the CH Products Flightsim Yoke USB. Thanks.

Hi, Is there any way to configure the roll axis of any of the saitek or ch product yokes for a 1:1 motion? I know that these yokes have a 45 deg motion on either side which translates to a 90 deg motion on either side in the sim. For example, at the leftmost point in the hardware (at 45deg), I want the sim to also translate to a 45 deg left. I realize that I will not have the full range of motion, but is it possible to do this? Basically I want the yoke to behave like the Cessna pro flight yoke with 1:1 motion (which is no longer in production I think) but of course with the inevitable physical restriction to 45deg on either side. I fly both X-plane 11 and FSX:SE.…

I am looking to replace my stick - it has a very sticky handle and one button no longer works. I quite fancy the Thrustmaster range up to a spend of £60[$80]. In particular the Hotas X which has an adjustable handle - I have a left-handed grandson. Rgds Antioch

I am looking to replace my Saitek Pro Flight throttle quadrants and would appreciate some recommendations. My budget might stretch to about £500 including shipping. Mostly I fly large airliners but also fly the Dash 8. I came across one that seems to fit the bill but I would like to hear from anyone who already has one of these, or any from the same maker. My Saitek throttles are beginning to spike (again) and I don't want to keep having to clean them. I am also considering the 737-style ones on that website. Any suggestions of similar products would be appreciated.

I have a Saitek X65F joystick and throttle quadrant, these are recognized by FSX when initializing FSX and have full functionality. Once I begin a flight, be it with PMDG, Aerosoft Airbus, Majestic Software everything is performing correctly. Then after a random time period my controls revert to mouse yoke, and my X65F no longer appears under the MSFSX control options. I do not think it is a Saitek issue, as I can still communicate and calibrate the controls via the Saitek software whilst within the MSFSX environment (I have installed the latest Saitek Software and FSX control program and profile) but within the MSFSX menu environment I cannot get any recognition that the…

Hello, I recently upgraded from FSX Steam to P3D V3.3. I like it a lot, but I have a problem. It seems as, if my yoke hasn't been moving for an hour, it "disconnects". Which means whenever I'm on final and turn autopilot off, I can't save my plane from falling out of the sky until it connects. Is there a way I can keep it always on? This is really making me mad. Cheers Grant

Working with FSX on a second hand system with lots of Saitek instruments. Once all the drivers were reinstalled all the instruments came online fine. In flight, though, the Slip Skid Ball in the Virtual Cockpit does not move. All other guages look normal. The physical Saitek flight instrument showed the same behaviour. The turn indicator tips normally both in VC and on the Saitek instrument. Any idea why? How to fix? thanks RMM

I am a reasonably knowledgeable flight simmer but have zero experience flying real airplanes. The closest I come is taking may kids to KEMT a couple times a month for breakfast at Annia's Kitchen, just so we can watch the GA traffic arrive and depart. I'd really like to know if real-world aircraft controls have detents. Or are they just "loose" without any kind of corrective measure other than wind forces. My sim hardware has detents, but I see many people going through great lengths to reduce or eliminate them. I understand why, as far as precision control is concerned - especially on landing. Do detents exist on real-world... 1. Yokes 2. Pedals 3. Throttle…
