Hi all, Looking for an alternative joystick for the airbus but also for any aircraft in flight simulation. The main reason is that I am not happy with the not smooth motion of the Thrustmaster T1600M. I have seen generally good reviews about this stick that is why I purchased it, but soon I realized that the motion is not smooth at all. First of all, there is a huge central detent in the middle. The stick will come in the dead center position with big force and also very fast. That does not seem at all realistic to me. But there is more. If you move the stick for example half way back (elevator) and then keeping the same elevator input move the airlerons full left an…

Is there a way to increase the tension/stiffness on the three 'levers' of the Saitek Throttle Quadrant? The reason I ask is that I've just bought replacement 'handles' to resemble the B737 but their weight pulls the levers down. The quadrant is clamped on my desk and there is no room to mount it in a 'box' to make it more 'horizontal' (which would alleviate the problem). Thanks for any help. Toni.

Hi, I have my Saitek flight yoke and usb quadrants in a throttle box.The # 3 lever on quadrant 1 is for the #1 throttle. The #1 lever on the 2nd quadrant is #2 throttle. When applying power to my PMDG 737,777 or Aeosoft's Airbus the #2 throttle is about 5% behind #1 throttle. At full power they are equal and also at idle. Is this normal? When I taxi I have to apply more right throttle so I don't turn off the taxiway!

I use both a Saitek Throttle Quadrant and TPM with various aircraft. Although not an issue with GA aircraft I find that neither device provides for 'micro' adjustments of airspeed. The best way I can describe it is that the throttle movements are not equally linear. It seems impossible to fine turn a speed adjustment. As such I experience wild swings of too much or too little. I experienced this with the FeelThere ERJ and now again with the Majestic Q400. It likely occurs with other aircraft, but these two seem the most extreme. I've got FSUIPC4 and have the spikes setting checked, but any other thoughts on how to deal with this? Thanks Ernie

I am new to this forum so I hope this is the correct forum subject talk. For some reason my LED screen on the Saitek X52 throttle has stopped illuminating and the only way to get it lit is to do a PC restart. All the latest software and drivers are installed. So does anyone know how to correct this issue? Thank you.

One of my quadrant axes is spiking badly. I have read all the threads on this forum and others and am now prepared to open up the beast and try to clean the pots. However, while preparing for this, I have come across an issue that I have not seen mentioned anywhere: crosstalk. When I move the left lever full range, the values coming out of the MIDDLE channel change (with a lot of noise) by a few 1000s (out of -16k/+16k), although its lever does not move at all. I monitor the values with FSUIPC. This seems to point to some electrical fault. Has anybody else experienced this? and, better still, can offer a solution? Thanks, Phil

As some of you know my Saitek Cessna Pro Yoke died a week or so ago and I was in the market for a new Yoke. I decided to go with Virtual Fly's Yoko Yoke (located in Barcelona Spain). Shipping from Spain to US (California) was exceptionally fast via FedEx - 3 days. Customer service was also exceptional with rapid email responses. Here is my experience: Arrival/Install/Setup (sorry for video sizing, not used to working with my iPhone for video so messed up the sequence settings). Flight in A2A's T-6 Texan using my older $20 temp Flight stick vs. the $1000 Yoko Yoke. I'll be buying their throttle quadrant when available in May and will do a s…

I posted this in another area but I think it should be here. That said I don't know where the issue lies. Ive had a full clean reinstall and also moved up to the steam edition. The problem it With the PMDG 737NGX Whether configuring the ailerons, Elevator and rudders Through FAX or FUSIPC the ailerons only move 2 degrees either direction the Elevators only move an inch and the Rudders hardly move at all. Can someone point me in the right direction or have they had a similar issue. As advised on Fruggle the &£& like the throttles to be through FSX which Ive done Thanks for any help Richard Preece

Hi, I have just bought the VRinsight CDU1 (from the SerialFP2 range)- it has a two line LCD disply, not a full screen like the CDU 2. I am having trouble getting it to work. It works fine as a radio, when I set it to the radio function, but has no effect as a CDU-what is was built to do! It shows what i type on the CDU on the LCD, but not on the sim. I have tried it in the planes that it is supposed to be compatible with, but it doesn't work. I am running P3D V3.4 on Windows 10. And whilst I'm on the topic, when it does work how can I program it? I can't program it through LINDA as it is not picked up as a joystick. I do have a registered version of FSUIPC4 as well, and …

Hello gentlemen, I've had Saitek panels, yoke and rudder pedals for some considerable time whilst using FSX with Steve fixer. All quite hunkey dory using Saitek drivers. I don't know whether my system is up to coping with P3D but, nevertheless, I bought P3D V3.4 and installed it without any issues other than the Saitek panels wouldn't start up when the sim started. Working through the issue I downloaded the P3D driver from Saitek and all works fine on panels, yoke etc. However, P3d seems to be demanding more from my system than FSX and I get VC view stutters which is probably due to my dated GPU, a EVGA GTX 660Ti, Rather than splash more cash out at this moment in…

I bought a 737 throttle recently from FSC (Flight Simulator Center) and I can't use it because it messes up my sim. I know it's unlikely anyone browsing this thread will own one too but I'll give it a try. Maybe it's an issue not necessarily linked to this particular developer. After installing the drivers and connecting it to my computer I was struggling to even get it to work in P3D, nothing happened when moving the sliders etc. Then, suddenly, it worked (no idea why). Now about the actual problem: P3D gets stuck randomly while loading a scenario and will take about 30 secs or more to continue. After loading, when I pan the camera around in the VC or outside view it…

Hello. I'm hoping someone can help me out with something regarding the CH Pro Pedals. I am having a small issue where even after calibrating multiple times it seems that when centered the left pedal still seems to be pressed just slightly. One thing I have found is that when in the test/calibrate area of the CH Control Manager, the "Z" axis shows 5 when the left pedal is pressed all the way. I don't know if this has anything to do with it or not, but, I'm thinking that should probably be zero. As a result of being the way it is now, when in the Flight Sim program and trying to slew, the aircraft wants to very slowly spin to the left. I can also see the…

Hi Folks, I have the old Logitech Programable Keyboard with the 18 user defined keys down the left side... The keyboard by default is only capable of sending keyboard keystrokes or running custom Logitech scripts... Is there a way to make the keyboard look like another virtual joystick device sending true joystick button press commands ? I have a bunch of custom autopilot buttons - that don't have associated keyboard key presses (LUA Scripts) that I'd like to use my keyboard for - but the buttons need to look like a joystick for P3D/FSUIPC... Thanks... Regards, Scott

Do we know yet, whether or not Logitech will restart production the Saitek Flight Sim range? I need new kit, and won't buy remaining stocks if new kit is in the offing.

I fly the PMDG B737NGX and I have just attempted to setup the flight controls using FSUPIC. The Rudder pedals are Saitek Pro-Rudder pedals. After calibrating them and then attempting a short flight, on taxiing each time I attempted to turn left or right the visual effect was that the aircraft was rolling from side to side much like a boat would. Any clues as to what I am doing wrong or haven't done in FSUPIC? Neil Bradley

Had never encountered issue installing this device. I just installed fresh WIN7 64Bit and FSX-SE on dedicated SSD drive, the only device that I'm having issues is the Switch Panel, only the Starter /Mag switch is working the rest are not responding at all. Tried to call Saitek customer support and found out that Logitech took over and so far noway to get in touch with them Any idea Thanks in advance

My X45 is in perfect mechanical condition, it's clean and looks like new. Unfortunately the 64 bit programming software doesn't work on my win7 64 bit system. If I try the software it causes a BSD. The mode switches don't work either, presumably because I can't program them. The standard response curve on stick and rudder is terrible with way too much action around the center position. Very occasionally it goes laggy and responds about 8 seconds after input, I'm not sure if this last issue is a joystick or system problem. I'm not comfortable with the modern throw away culture so I would like to resolve these issues before I give in and bin an otherwise perfectly good st…

Hi My MS Sidewinder Precision Pro Joystick, which has been faultless for years, has suddenly developed a problem. Pulling the stick back pushes the nose of the aircraft down and vice-versa: pushing the stick forward causes the aircraft to pitch up. Could someone suggest a remedy for this problem? Thanks. Ray

Hi Just a quick question regarding the price of the Vive I've noticed that in the UK the cheapest online price I've seen for the Vive is around £820 but on Steam I can buy it for £759. My question is are there any differences between the Steam version and a retail version not bought through Steam. I would hate to buy on Steam and then find that there are restrictions to the Vive's use because Steam are involved. Does anybody know if there are any such issues. Thanks

Hi Looking for info from any Vive owners. I 'm looking for info regarding the 2 sensors that come with the Vive. Are they a must to be setup if you plan only using the headset for simming ,and have no plans for prancing around a room. I would prefer the Vive but if these sensors must be setup then I will have to get a Rift as I have not got the space to set up these sensors properly Thanks for any info

Hey guys so for a very long time almost a year now, I have been working on obtaining a Yoke of this caliber. I am no stranger to higher quality flight controls, having PFC desktop and Column Yokes for a good while now. My hardware has served me well, and felt it was time to upgrade. I have been in contact with the manufacturer for over a year, as the cost was so immense for this yoke I needed to feel secure about my purchase. I have followed the company for those 12 plus months, asked many questions, which they were more than happy to answer. Ask for photos, what materials they used, videos of the Yoke in action, and they were more than willing to provide the informa…
