I have been following this project since its Kickstarter, and from the looks of things on their twitter page production and shipping will be happening soon. I'm looking forward to getting rid of my Saitek pro in favor of a yoke with more precision. Has anyone had a chance try the IRIS yoke. Based on pics and videos that I have seen so far, I'm leaning towards pre ordering one. If you ordered an HDK kit have you received it and also what is your opinion? Also do anyone know how the force feedback functionality will work with fly by wire aircraft? If you're not familiar with the project you can see their twitter page here. https://twitter.com/IrisDynami…

Hi, I have a Logitech Extreme 3d Pro which works well during calibration (Win7, FSX, P3Dv4.1). But when I use it in the plane (standard or payware) I get very little to no deflection when engaging the ailerons. Elevator and twist axis work well. Any help is much apreciated. Peter

Good day everyone i have a motion sim (3Dof) since 2 weeks, with my work I don’t have the time to spend a lot of time on my computer, and when I can, I have some headache trying to configure Simtools for my rig, I don’t understand anything about this, is there someone here who is using it for a flight sim and can share me his settings? Like that I’ll copy them for me and adjust them for myself regards

I have a Saitek Pro Flight Yoke, which comes with a throttle quadrant that connects to the yoke via a PS/2 plug into a PS/2 socket on the back of the yoke. I have bought a second throttle quadrant on ebay, which I figured was supposed to be able to connect to the yoke as well, but there's only one PS/2 socket on the yoke. How does the second quadrant connect to the yoke? Cheers Mike Kear WIndsor, NSW, Australia

Hello, I would like to have a realistic transponder for my simpit. I have the saitek radio for displaying & setting the squawk code, but the specific panel does not support a selection of the different modes you would have in a real xponder (OFF, STBY, ALT). I downloaded SPAD.NEXT, hoping to program the SEL SWITCH on the panel from the standard (DME,COM,NAV etc) to xponder modes. However, I dont think that this specific rotary switch is programmable. Any ideas on how to do this with a Saitek radio panel?

I recently purchased these rudder pedals (MFG Crosswind)....I calibrated per instructions and everything seems to be working okay.... If i sit outside aircraft and deflect rudder left and right i can see full deflection..which is good...toe brakes work fine as well...problem is while taxiing when i want to turn left or right i can put full deflection and aircraft barely turns( Im using a 182 with nose wheel steering) I have to use brakes to turn more sharply....same issue while in the air...if im flying and press full left or right rudder nose of aircraft doesnt move but a degree or two. On crosswind landing im unable to crab at all...but if i view from outside while fly…

I have a problem with my PFC hardware that's a bit difficult to explain- so I made a video to help visualize. When beta testing the Q400 lately for P3Dv4 I haven't been able to control TQ- which are the first two levers. They both reach the top and bottoms of their ranges where they are supposed to, however during the travel, they both rise/fall at different rates. I sprayed Deoxit in the channels thinking- ok it's 5 years old, maybe there's oxidation. But it didn't help. This proves very difficult with multi-engine props/turboprops as I'm constantly having to move power levers to match each other. Sometimes, even more than one "knob length" apar…

I cannot get my new PDMG 747 QOTS to communicate with any of my 3 Saitrk panels. YOKE, FIPs pedals work fine through Spadnext (regd). Panels appear to operate perfectly through profile set up and calibration but then fails to send/receive messages with actual aircraft. I am using Simconnect with FSX-SE and do not have ssny issues wigh default DSX aircraft. Any sugged tions wojjld be great! I have read some people are udding a utility called Linda. It is unclear that i should need more than Spadnext. Thanks fackprod

Hello all, I tried a search for my question but nothing really answered it completely. Here's some background... I have P3D v4. I love it!!! My hardware is all (100%) Saitek. See the list below YOKE THROTTLE QUADRANT RUDDER PEDALS (6) INSTRUMENT PANELS TWO RADIO STACKS AUTO PILOT SWITCH PANEL TRIM WHEEL (NON SAITEK) - I have the Xtop Pro Panel and two industrial USB external power hubs to drive everything. I use the flight sound X to use my Bose aviation headset. For all the Saitek hardware to run correctly, I have read that one must install Saitek drivers from Saitek. The I read "no don't use Saitek drivers, use Logitech drivers". Then another s…

I just have the steam edition of FSX I don't have the box installed. I am having a problem getting the throttle control to work properly. I have CH products throttle, stick, and pedals. The throttle will not response, or when I go into the program the throttle is open and I have no control, so my aircraft crashes. To get it to work some what I have to go into my control settings, go back to the default settings, for the stick and throttle, remove the throttle axis from the stick, pitch and roll axis on the throttle, and keep repeating that process until it works. As it is now ... I have to have the throttle up a bit on the stick, then the main throttle will give me some c…

So I picked up one of these Razor Tartarus gaming keypads. I set it up as a second joystick. I basically added an EZDOK view to each of the keys (I set each key as a joystick button in the Razor software). So I know have 15 set views which I have saved and can transfer to each aircraft which use. Example the top left button is always the Captain's view and the bottom right button will always be the right wing. No more fooling around on the keyboard or cycling through views. It fits nicely in my left hand, leaving my right hand to control the aircraft. I picked one up used on eBay for less than $30. Link to product... https://www.amazon.com/Razer-Tartarus-Prog…

Has anyone had any luck mixing controller brands in your sim? I am looking to acquire a used Elite Pro panel SE and AP2000 avionics stack, but due to the cost I can't really afford to get the rest of their product line so I'm looking to supplement it with a Saitek/Logitech switch panel and CH Products rudders. Will the drivers from all of these brands behave themselves when used at the same time, or are there any known incompatibilities? I would be splitting time between P3D v4 and XP10 with these.

Hello, I want to buy a joystick, don't want to give a lot of money, so I found one used Logitech Attack 3 for 13€. I know I can't get very good joystick for little money, I will explain what my problem is. So if anyone of you used it, I want to know how much it's axis are sensitive? What I mean by that, I had some Genius but it had big dead zone and sensitivity was bad. By bad I mean let's say I pull stick toward right, first 0.5 cm it happens nothing. After that dead zone, it acts like a button, no matter if pull it half or full plane makes fast bank. I tired to calibrate it, tried to make it work in settings by changing sensitivity, but no help. I want if I pull sti…

I have a Saitek Pro Flight Yoke which I haven't used for a while. When I plug in the USB to my pc the yoke comes alive however this is generally for a very limited time. If it has been unused for a few days it may work for one time only (ie whilst pc remains on) however it is more likely to work for a brief period (normally seconds rather than minutes) and then the pc keeps saying usb item not recognised. This keeps kicking on and off as though I am pulling the usb connector in and out. I have managed to update drivers (in one of the longer alive times but this has generally made no difference. As such I have a couple of questions:- 1) Does anyone have a…

Hello, I will be grateful for advice which joystick is better choice: 1. Logitech G Saitek PRO Flight Yoke System + Logitech G Saitek PRO Flight Rudder Pedals or 2. Thrustmaster Hotas Warthog + Logitech G Saitek PRO Flight Rudder Pedals I add that most frequently I fly PMDG 737 and 777. Thank you very much in advance.

Went to fire up P3d last night and had a lot of fun in my default aircraft, it started spinning violently as soon as I applied the throttle. My eight year old joystick finally had it's last gasp, it was a Saitek controller. I settled on a cheap and simple Thrustmaster controller and assigned my pitch trim to the two buttons on the controller. It feels more natural flying in the sim with this controller, which I only paid $20.00 for. Sorry to say it has no rudder control, so I have to use the keyboard for the rudder, which I find more realistic anyway. I also calibrated the controller for Xplane11 and had much better control of my aircraft on takeoff. John

I have had A CH Products yoke for 10+ years now, and a Saitek throttle quadrant for about 3 years. The yoke had become sloppy and increasingly hard to physically calibrate. The throttle produced different values for thrust / manifold pressure / prop speed and mixture for each of the two engines, even though the handles for each engine were physically centralized. Further, the controls were sloppy, with some having more tightness than others. So, I asked my "better half" for the Redbird yoke (YK1) and the twin throttle quadrant (TH2), for Christmas this year. Before requesting them I had established contact with the owner of the RedBird company, Todd Willinger, who…

I own two x-keys sticks XK-16 and have programmed then with P3D keystroke commands. For example one button with p for Pause, the other with shift+p for Push Back. Unfortunately the x-keys devices do not work in P3D. It seems, that they are not recognized. Does anyone have experience with x-keys and their software MacroWorks? I would be happy to get some hints. Kind regards Arndt
