Bought a Thrustmaster USB joystick from a website doing a Special Offer on the web. No drivers, no software. Trying to calibrate it but cannot get the slider to operate the throttle. The 'X' and 'Y' axis calibrate okay. The trigger switch operates the Brakes, and the hat-switch the POV, but the slider I get no throttle. Any help appreciated.

twist I have a Thrustmaster T.16000M joystick and the rudder seems to be stuck left. I tried to calibrate it from within windows 10 and in P3D but it doesn't fix it When I fly a helicopter it spins like a top to the left. When I fly a plane it goes in to a bank to the left. What could be wrong? How can I fix this? Is it time to buy a new stick?

So this yoke has these funky paddles on the side with the main use as rudder inputs. I have pedals but am curious if you could press both paddles in at the same time, unlike the way rudder pedals work, press down on right rudder and left pedal moves towards you. I'm thinking these would work well for me as reversers if they can both be pressed at the same time. Any thoughts?

Hi All, I have a GF yoke for a couple years now, and no problems. When i fired up the sim yesterday, and headed down the RW at "rotate" a slight pull on the yoke gave me a view of the rear seats, and no way to get back to the pilot position. I checked the axis assignment and it is correct. Tried with a different aircraft, no go. Shut down, re-booted; same problem. What could be causing this? I am stumped.....

Hello All: I recently purchased a CH Products Throttle Quadrant and would like to set up the device to utilize the Idle Cutoff and Prop Feathering detents. I'd also like to know how to set up reverse thrust, since I may try to fly turbo props in the future. I have been unable to find a definitive answer online regarding how this may be accomplished. It it noteworthy to add that I am also using CH Products Rudder Pedals, and a CH Products Flight Sim Yoke. The yoke will soon be replaced as I have just purchased a new yoke from Diagma. So far I have read suggestions that state there are three options regarding configuration: CH Manager …

For the last week P3D3 and 4 have been unusable with the yoke. When I start either one of them up, the cockpit view starts spinning to the right and I can't stop it. If I unplug the yoke it stops. Plug it back in and it starts spinning. If I look at the properties page under game controllers, I can see the hat switch (pov switch) is stuck on the right (east) arrow. If I try to center it, it snaps right back to the east arrow. If I try to move it to the left, it won't go. The range is east (default) and northeast and southeast. It won't go anywhere else. Seems like I have a hardware issue, but not sure. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks. Runni…

I tested the six axes of my two Saitek throttles this afternoon. Three that came with the yoke and three on the additional quadrant. Five of the six have serious issues with spiking and a few of the reverse detents are unreliable too. They were bought in Nov 2008 for £144. Up to 18 months or so ago they behaved fine. Whilst the yoke itself is still usable it's not possible to buy a throttle quadrant with a PS/2 connector so that means two new quadrants and that can only be achieved by buying a new yoke. I did investigate if 2 USB throttle quadrants could be used but whilst one will be recognised the other won't. The system relies on 1 x PS/2 connection as a mini…

I have a goflight corporate pilot system which comes with a large variety of magnetic component labels. Unfortunately mine have become demagnetized. I’d like to print out a new set which I can glue to a magnetic sheet. Does anyone have a template of labels that I can use? If not, I’ll make one myself and let members know should they want a copy, Many thanks, Brian

Hi all--running latest P3dv4.2 on up to date Windows 7. I have 13 GF modules and most work fine with GF's in-house software. All modules are plugged in to either internal powered USB 2.0 cards, or into a powered USB 2.0 hub that is plugged in to a powered USB 2.0 card. They all worked fine until I did a complete reinstall of v4.2. The ones I'm having issues with now are three RP 48's--the ones with 4 knobs on top and 8 pushbuttons on the bottom. I've configured each one and saved their profiles. I load all three profiles at the same time, but the profiles keep switching from one RP48 profile to a different one. I've also tried unplugging two, loading the third with…

Potential PAID SUPPORT. I just took delivery of a new PFC throttle quadrant (6 throw arms) .which will be mated to a Brunner CLE yoke and MFG pedals when they arrive. I have P3DV4 and that is the target platform. I'm a Captain for AA and arguably very limited experience in detailed software programming. I could not calibrate the PFC in WIN 10. It is connected via USB 2.0 and I followed PFC instructions. Test shows no response. I saw that Pete Dowson has a program to help PFC work in P3D. I have downloaded his FSUIPC 5 and have read the manual. If you are a hardware & (FSUIPC) expert on this stuff and willing to help please let me know. J…

I have had this throttle unit and separate yoke system for about two years now and am really happy with it. (I have the twin jet quadrant attachment with speed brake and reverse) Recently and incrementally, I have noticed an issue with the No1 throttle. I calibrate the unit using fsuipc. The No1 throttle is erratic during calibration (the numbers jump around somewhat) and I always seem to have an asymmetry in VC thrust at any given equal position of the two physical throttles. The no 1 throttle sets a much higher N1 thrust in the VC when at exactly the same physical unit position as No2. I have had to set a slope of 7 for the No. 1 in fsuipc so that they maintain…

I got mine on Thursday from a pre-order directly from Madcatz. I've only taken it out of the box and got it put together. The joystick doesn't feel as smooth to me as the X-52 pro but I think that may be a matter of spring selection and I will experiment later. The one thing I did notice was that mine had extremely heavy throttle tension out of the box. It was so hard to move I thought that it might have somehow been locked into place for shipping. I examined it carefully and couldn't see any tabs or other locking mechanism. I saw the tension mechanism and started backing it off until I could get it to move. I ended up backing it all the way off and the tension …

Does anyone know if it is possible to replace just the throttle lever without having to replace the entire potentiometer? My dog snapped my throttle lever off and although I've been able to super glue it. it still breaks off. I have the original quadrant that came with my yoke but that one went bad. I still have it but I don;t know if I can swap out parts. Any help would be appreciated.

I just switched the USB port for my Saitek Pro Throttle Quadrant and now it completely doesn't work. I searched this and other forums and tried everything including manually installing the driver through device manager. I have gone through and deleted all Saitek drivers I have tried every USB port I have tried everything and it is driving me nuts. The throttles were working fine until I just switched the damn USB port now it won't install. I get to the screen where it tells you to plug in device but it doesn't recognize anything. When I try manually installing the drivers over the usb generic or the saitek pro throttle quadrant in device managers I get this: Install Attemp…

Need some help with the column yoke. I've had their 777 yoke over a year. The column has become wobbly left to right. It lists to the left about 3". I need to remove the box on the bottom but I can't figure out how it is held on. Don't ask me to contact ACE, because I have and their after sales support is non-existent. Both Darryl and Ali were of no help. It is a nice product, but if I had to purchase again, it would not be from ACE. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Gnacino

I have been happily using the Saitek X52 joystick and throttle for probably 10 years or so - and it is still working fine . I have noticed that on occasions, I am inadvertently and incorrectly using the twist grip rudder, and thought I might move to a new joystick setup. So I have been looking at various comments as to the pros and cons of other joysticks and throttles on the market. The Thrustmaster Hotas Warthog joystick and throttle seem to always come out top of the pile in many reviews or comparisons - with great build quality - and the price seems to be the own negative identified. So my quandary - is do I change? and if so what would you recommend. I enjoy fly…

Hi guys I am interested in buying a Thrustmaster Hotas Warthog flight stick system but i need to know if the Thrustmaster Hotas Warthog is compatible with FSX and where can i find ready profiles (mappings) for it? Also can users of this system inform me about the + & - points of this stick. It looks great in the stores but will i be able to use it as an all rounder joystick setup with FSX, H.A.W.S and similar simulators? If not what would be a good stick with quality materials? kind regards

I have a ch yoke from about 1998 and Go Flight throttle quadrant from 2008 or so. I really don't fly much so haven't had much time to look into details, but I get violent movement of the throttle when moving it whether I am moving the ch throttle or the GF throttle. It will basically move about 1/3 the way down and then bounce back to wear I set it to. I use fsuipc to set throttle. This seems to have been this way since day of both products and again I never got time to worry about it as it worked ok, but just would like to fix now. In p3d v4 only the keyboard is set for throttle, none of them are set for ch or GF.

So I've just started watching "Lost in Space" on Netflix. Very entertaining and an interesting reboot. Spoiler In the second episode the characters are attempting to use the Jupiter 2's thrusters to raise her from a submerged position. And what are they using as thrust controllers? Have a look!

Hello simmers, I just wanted to give a shout out to a product that I've been using to control my Reality XP devices in FSX! They are from Elite Simulation Solutions, the AP-4000 GNS 530 & 430 modules. I've found them to be extremely helpful in flying "mouse free," being able to dial in comms and navs frequencies easily, and pushing any button that needs pushing without having to use the mouse. I've found it makes flying in the sim much easier, and I would even dare to say, it makes flying in the sim nearer to reality. The link to the product page is here. aeroedge

Hello, I recently stumbled upon this, and I could not find any reviews. Is this any good? I could not find any visually appealing yoke other than this. http://flyhoneycomb.com/ If there isn't any reviews, then I assume it isn't out even though it was supposed to be released in January.
