Simconnect is installed when you install FSX and allows addons to "talk" with FSX. Search for simconnect.msi, also did you download the latest driver for TrackIR?

If you find simconnect.msi run it as administrator and see if that helps? If any folders changed while installing the latest update sometimes that breaks the connection with simconnect.

Google simconnect if you can't find it on your PC, might only be available with the SDK, so you can download it online.

So okay, no device detected means that the software is not seeing the hardware id of the camera, rather than being anything related to FSX/SimConnect.  To be specific, it's the TRACKIR Software that is not seeing the camera.

For this error, it is best to open a support ticket with Natural Point.

Best wishes!
